Anyone know of a brick recovery service for the Streak? I don't have JTAG or RIFF box and would prefer to find a service to unbrick a Streak 5. I have a real brick no response to power or any other key. Will not turn on. It had to do with a firstboot writing error after flashing with the Softbank Rom. Had nothing to do with the Rom it was user (my) error.

I got mine Jtagged and after that the phone gets locked permamnently. It does not work even with AT&T Sim. It's not just me but there are few more whose phone got un-usable after JTag. It's just a WiFi Tablet now.
Replace the battery, press Vol Up button and connect to PC; if it's recognised then you don't need a Jtag, Streakflash and the QDL should fix it. I would suggest you google, do your research and look out for any alternative to Jtag. I did Jtag in Haste and phone function is gone now forever. I need to change Motherboard to get this working again or rather buy another tab.

check battery reinsert charge it for some time 2) try any other charger 3) go service center if it's in warrenty or not. act like noob my tab is not starting I dont know why

even if you connect it to pc via fastboot nor flashmode and pc doesnt recognize it, boot.img probably damaged and service test point is needed... try charging your phone for 1 day and try agan. if wont turn up so your device is hard bricked.
mine got soft bricked and i couldnt able to flash ftf cause flashtool didnt recognize it, bootloader was unlocked so i couldnt relock. i gave it to service and role played like i dont know what happend there were an update i clicked on it and it wont turned on again or something like that. its been 2 weeks. prob. ill get it in 2 weeks.
I hard bricked my c5 dual using flashtool. I had to take it to sony service center, they didn't asked me many questions. I told them I was trying to update it using pc companion and it just went dead. They fixed the phone in 5 days and returned it. The funny thing is that I had unlocked its bootloader a long time ago so it should've been out of warranty, also, the IMEI numbers have changed and the drm keys and functions have been restored. Can't believe my luck..

We all have the same problem. I dnt want to bring my c5 ultra to service center. My c5 ultra was in marshmallow os then I was to revert it to Lollipop. So I decided to flash a firmware thru flashtool. After flashing when I'm about to boot up my phone, it doesn't boot up and seems dead. When I connect it to outlet, only red led appears. And I dnt know now how to revive my phone.
Can anyone help us with this problem.
you can repair your device with setool box any repair center should have one it can reflash dead area of c5 and repair emmc or yoy can use riff box or any other box with jtag

My Moto Z died 3 months ago. No boot/no charge/ no pc detection.
I took it to the service center, they told me the warranty is void as i rooted my device (no wonder how they know)
I took it to a JTAG repair guy, and he told me that the boot repair file for this device is not available and the only way to fix this is to change the motherboard.
Now the motherboard is available nowhere in the market and the moto service guys want 80% of the amount i paid for the phone.
At this point im very frustrated. I need to get my phone working.
Please help me if you have an old or damaged moto Z with the motherboard working and you're willing to sell, or if you know someone who can get it fixed for me.

If you have access to a linux box, you can try to flash this yourself, or you can just give this to the repair guy, he should know what to do with this.

My PC is not detecting the phone. I don't have a Linux box.
Can you tell me what should I look for in a repair guy? Coz most of the guys I met just tell me that they cannot repair it and the only way is to replace the Mobo.
My phone has been to 9.0.0.197,but now the phone can not boot anything.no screen, no recovery, no fastboot.but when i connect cable to pc can still show fastboot device.i tried funkeyhuawei,dc-unlocker to flash but still no on. Please help me! Thank you everyone!
when you plug it into the computer (windows) in device manager does it show adb bootloader ? or usb ser ?

If your phone is under warranty I would suggest sending it in to a service center.
The only other way is opening the back cover of the phone and using testpoint. Removing back cover will void warranty, and is not suggested if you don't know what you're doing.

FYI I was in the same situation as you, Huawei denied my repair and said I had water damage.And I clearly did not have water damage once they see black screen and red led they always deem it as water damage.There was also another post where someone claimed water damage as well after they sent in there bricked device.At the end of the day I had to use test point recovery to get my device working again.

Hello, can please explain what is test point recovery? How can i do test point recovery?
Each device has a few contacts on the main board for connecting test point consoles in case bootloader or USB port is destroyed but you need proprietary cable and software to accomplish that. USB to test point is not always possible.
