It says something about building it from android source and it should work with any android 2.2 device, well here's their main site:
http://bel.fi/~alankila/android-dsp/
Maye someone with more experience can make it work for O1.
You could give this a try: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783737
Sorry to disappoint you.....but I tried it and it renders your p500 either audio-less or results in bootloop.
Tested the link badeaioan gave a few weeks ago. Makes my phone freeze when trying to play anything.
Also, if someone can build a ROM from source maybe it could work xD
Its already working fully on gingerbread o1 roms.

also tested badeaioan's link. Same result, no sound and sometimes freeze.

yep, we all know it as a gingerbread native app/feature but some people would also prefer to stay on Froyo and still have DSP manager(or at least better sound with speaker/headphones). Well in my part i'm just pointing out a link for someone with enough time and knowledge who would also like to have this feature on his froyo runnin O1.
Sorry if you had any problems I haven't tested it.

This may be a dev forum question, so forgive me if it is, but I see plenty of mod posts here
I need the popular camera hack that allows me to use cam even at super low battery life, as elk as a gps fix.
I recently had to dump toxic crazy 8, wonderful rom, but my camera stopped working and my pc wouldn't acknowledge my phone. Insanely long story short I figured it out and odin'd back to stock root. I've resolved to just tweak stock 2.2
So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why not find a rom with a hacked. apk? And move it to system-> app. How about a new kernel? I assume you are rocking a stock kernel being stock rooted. Also there are flashable zips floating around too for 2.2. I won't link it for you do to not being within 700 miles of my pc.

Actually I'm rocking the bali x kernel big fan of that battery life.
Still looking for linked apks. I'm not really looking to flash a new rom until D9 comes out, for now I'm happy with my stock root with launcher pro and a couple other toys. Just looking for that sweet gps and cam fix

I am curious as to what is the best ROM for X2? Eclipse, molten...or any others? Why do you think it is the best?
Well it all depends on what you are looking for. I personally think that Eclipse is the best, solely because Nitro is always working on it. It is fast, and smooth. Liberty is also nice, I just don't care for the design factors of it. MIUI is well designed, but if you'd go for that I would wait for the newest release to come to x2, because it is pretty slick looking. I haven't a clue about Molten, but there are like no screenshots of it, so if you want to try it, please post a thread of them lol.
I'd personally say try Eclipse to see how you like it, but if you'd like to try more always keep nandroid backups so you can have a selection of ROMs readily available.

I have tried Eclipse 1.0 and 1.2, and I am updating to 1.3 at the moment, and was curious if there was anything better. Thank you for your reply, I think I will stick with Eclipse for now, I love the look.
They are all pretty fantastic! I say start with one, test it out, make a nandroid if you like it, then flash a new one and test it out, and go until you find one you like the best. If you get flash happy, make nandroids of a couple. I have a nandroid for liberty eclipse and gp7. I'm running molten 2.2. Its fun going back and forth between them. Haha

I agree IDMA they are all good and have different feels. I would just try all of them from eclipse to gingerphone7 and gingerfunk too. It doesn't take that long to test drive them and het the jest of what each has to offer. There is only 5 current custom roms to choose from so see which one works best for you

No they don't. Seriously I don't get your issue. Eclipse has been far better and more reliable than both stock 2.3.3 and 2.3.4. I would experience several force closes of factory loaded software every day. That isn't the case with Eclipse or Liberty.
Im all for freedom speech and opinions and what not but you just seem intent on being a Debby downer in every post you make.

open your camcorder press the record button and touch any part of the screen
in camera, flash sometimes don't work and would just lockup
on keypad, it sometimes don't vibrate or the feedback sensation don't always work
etc...

I dont want to argue with anyone but I ran into more issues with stock blur(puke) then any custom rom on here.
The camcorder thing might be because of the bionic camera being in eclipse and not the stock blur camera.. I don't know but I have used the camcorder a lot and never had a force close until i purposely hit the screen after pressing record. I guess when its recording I dont press the screen....

Holy crap I cant touch the screen while recording. I call that more of a minor inconvenience than "ruining the function and reliability."
To each their own I guess.

Okay, I did what you said in Liberty3 and it worked just fine. No FCs, nothing. Worked like a charm.
He was complaining about the Razr camera port in Eclipse v1.3 I think atleast. Haha
Eclipse works great for me. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
Yep ill second the eclipse 1.3 I've followed eclipse since the early days. Currently I'm using the 2.3.5 OTA and have been slowly freezing bloat and have applied supercharger v.7 so far its nice not as much free ram not as snappy and not as much battery as say eclipse on 2.3.4 but better that but stock 2.3.4 or 2.3.3.

It's been over a month since I flashed my X2 to Liberty and I got bored. Then, I saw Nitro/Scott tweet that Eclipse v2.0 for the X2 was coming and as of last night, was 90% complete, so I decided to flash back to Eclipse.
Lo-and-behold, I experienced the FC with the camcorder. So, I just pulled the BlurCamera.apk from Liberty3 for X2 and all the FC's are gone!
All I did was delete the Camera.apk from /system/app, copied the BlurCamera.apk back to /system/app, set the permissions to 0644 and then rebooted. FCs gone!
Can't wait for Eclipse 2.0.
Hey

Exactly the words I had in mind.Even the alternative camera apps in the Market don't quite satisfy me.
But people,it's AOSP camera, not CM7 camera.CM has nothing to do with it.Although we can all agree it sucks anyway.
Um, yeah and its an AOSP camera. Just like everything in CM7 is AOSP. Just like everything has been modified, including the camera.
I think that warrants justification enough to call it 'CM7' camera.

I can't really help you since i don't have a xt912 but you should post some other info to get people's help, like the rom you are using, when it stopped working etc
OK, I'm rooted stock 181,don't use the camera a lot but I noticed problem after ota from 173,I had to use matts dru to get back to 173 because of something I did wrong when I originally rooted

Stock cam seem to focus only on a small spot, which results in blurriness.
Many people here recommends ICS camera+. I am personally using camera zoom fx and it works awesome, great camera great effects great controls.
just try another rom or clean you camera glass
