Has anyone been able to hit 80 or higher in linpack? I havent been able to get about 69-70 ,I hit 80 consistently when linpack first supported multi-thread, now I just cant, and its weird.because I get 42.838s on single thread
Sent from my DROID X2
is that even possible i get around 68ish with eclipse .5
I've seen a couple of 68's running Eclipse .5 and the speedy 2 script.
It is possible, if one core gets 40-42 then two cores would get 80-84,it makes perfect sense and I've got 80 before

Droid x vs eris.. any thought among my fellows .. fellows is a funny word. I know about the thunder bolt.. btw.

Well I've played around with Droid x a lot rooted a buddies for him and install liberty rom Im pretty sure Droid x isn't supported by cm7 so if you like cm7 your out of luck. I'd rather have Druid x over Eris for the memory speed and ram. But I'd rather stick with HTC. I don't jnie what I'm going to do with more then 50mbs of ram extra when I get a upgrade in November haha. But luckily we have get devs to keep the Eris running smooth and kepping up with the times with 2.3

Yeah. Love Eris Dev ppl. I'm running liberty now. And no cm7. But would like this raw power and cram it in an Eris problally the perfect phone ty for the feed back its a little disconcerting going to a new forum. Even after the 1.5 years with an Eris.

OK I'm not trying to be a benchmark junkie but after upgrading to P3's GB and freezing up all the useless crap I have been getting Quadrant scores between 2400-2500. I've noticed other members running the same setup running 2800+ and was just curious if there is something that I'm missing that is bottlenecking my performance. Any ideas?

I also get 2400-2500.
I think people just exaggerate.
I'm getting 2400-2500 on the stock, unrooted, bloated update.

Makes sense. Guess I'm good to go

I also get about 2500 on rooted gb.

you can also "trick" quadrant.
For example run it twice in a row in quick succession. Your second run will always be a little higher.
Or kill 3g and data and run it. It will vary sometimes upwards of 600-700 points
I got 2900 with rooted debloated GB running Zeam launcher. Also have 200mb at any given time.
I have heard that quadrant is junk for benching GB.

Somewhere Between 2,500-2,700 Peak Is 2,8xx.

Quadrant only shows 1 core, try smartbench
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
I get 2700+. 2.3.3 rooted. Adw launcher ex. No bloat removed. All my apps downloaded and setup
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
With Quadrant I usually get 2400-2500 first run, up to 2800+ after a few runs with rooted Gingerbread, with my normal background apps running, with some unwanted Blur stuff frozen.
That's a heck of a lot better than with the stock 2.2.2 Froyo, I'd get between 1800-2100 with that.
Smartbench:
~2700 Productivity (consistently)
~2600 Gaming (consistently)
Try Antutu benchmark. It's known to be more accurate and stricter

Try going to 2.3.4 and rooting/debloating that...p3's update.zip we have is 2.3.3 rooted...2.3.4 runs great for me very snappy...I actually keep going back to stock lol
I am getting 2900-3100 with quadrant (highest 3111) and 4815 with antutu. I am running eclipse 1.2 with 0vermind's speedy v6 script and sdcard speed app. Also I'm running launcher pro plus.
Consistent 2990 on Quadrant. It only varies by a few points after several runs.
Rooted, running a mix of Speedy and navendrobs scripts. ADW Launcher and WhatsApp running along with DoubleTwist.

Doubt it, all of the listed devices have dual core processors and/or really high level specs. we could probably make it run but I doubt it would be very playable.

The galaxy s line has a better GPU than the droid x or x2. The x2 has a better processor than this phone but not as good of a gpu so the difference would lean towards this. But for a game as intensive as that, you would need both a high end processor and a good gpu to make it run well. Im not saying our phone wont be able to handle it at all, but if it is installable for us then it will likely be a mediocre experience.

Thanks all friends for reply
So idk if there is a dx2 bench mark thread... atleast i couldn't find one. But im curious as to how everyones dx2s preform with different mods/roms installed.
so heres the deal.
post your rom, any mods, and anything else that makes your phone different. then post your benchmark score for different benchmark test.
Pictures are always better =D
I'll be the first to start. and all my information is in my signature =D
Not to spark anything, just want to throw a theory I heard out: it isn't grounded in solid evidence but when Antutu compares your device to others, your overall score is inflated, ever heard that?

The problem with benchmarks is there is no standard scoring system so scoring is different depending on the tool used

Here's mine, running CM7 RC1 with beats 5.1 and ICS Themes. I was running mashup before but it was doing some funky stuff so this is stock CM7 build.prop
I might add my screenshot. I got ~3300 on quadrant on stock cm7.2 RC0.

Dx2 running CM10a3
I just ran Antutu and Antutu X and got an average from 3 runs of ~8000. I was expecting 4000 from online reviews running GB.
Ok Iam getting 8034 using Antutu + Antutu CPU Master and CM10.
Any antutu review from over a year ago (roughly) will show lower numbers. Around that time frame (forgot exact date) antutu updated it's testing algorithm to include more GPU intensive tests (which nVidia chips were beasts at, a.k.a. Tegra).
This is why you are having higher than "normal" scores.

Ok Ive switched to Eclipse v2.3 and get a score of 8068 and that is the fastest score yet.

I too am getting 8000+ scores on my X2. I ran Antutu on a Droid X and only got a 4000. X2 is a lot of bang for the buck.
