[Q] MiniCM7 Pro - V7 unresponsive - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

I'm currently running MiniCM7 Pro - V7 (paul-xxx) on my U20i. Before I get started, I will say a few things...
I am not running the V7x hotfix
I have not yet done a reinstall
I did do a factory reset full wipe before installing with CWM recovery
I also wiped the davlik cache prior to install
I previously was using Cyanogen Gingerbread CM7 based on MiniCM for MiniPro (v15.0) (slade87) (changed due to market issue)
The issue I have currently is that during charging the phone may become unresponsive (via usb or standard charging) The phone is still on (have received a call in this state), however none of the buttons can make the phone come out of sleep and bring up the lock screen. The only thing i have been able to do is pull the battery to reset the phone and be able to turn it back on. My current fix is to disable sleep during charging, and it has not had issues since. One time only it would not recognize the sd card but a reboot fixed that. I am curious if anyone else has experienced this issue before I do a full wipe then try to reinstall the rom. Other than this issue (which is probably my own fault) this rom is phenomenal, and I have had no other issues with it.

i've used the rom but never had an issue like the one you are describing.
just curious, are you using setcpu's screen off profile?

Everything so far is stock as the ROM comes, though I'm beginning to think it may be a hardware issue...
Another issue I have had is even on the stock ROM sometimes if I unplug the charger the charging indicator light stays on (and matches the color it should for charge level) and the icon at the top indicates it is still charging, and nothing but a reboot will make it go away.

Yes, if it happens with stock rom, it's a hardware problem...

[Q] phone shuts off please help

samsung fascinate frimware 2.2.1 its the super freakin clean rom ebo1 for baseband and build number ....the phone just shuts off randomly and i either have to do a battery pull or reboot with the poweer and volume buttons held in originally i thought it was a hardware issue so i got a new fascinate and this one is doing the same thing someone please help me
This typically stems from not wiping data as well as cache prior to flash...
Sounds like you have a rogue app locking the phone up while it's sleeping. I would do a factory reset, then install your apps one at a time until you figure out what's causing it. Allow the phone to sit idle, and maybe even reboot between installs. Allow the phone to settle down and enter sleep between each install and then try to wake the phone after it has been idle for a minute or two.
The other way would be to try looking at logcat with your phone connected to your computer when the screen is on, then when the display turns off and the phone sleeps. Odds are, whatever is causing the problem will be the last thing displayed if logcat stops giving you output. Otherwise, it should just repeat the same thing over and over (I'd assume so anyway) when it's trying to wake up from sleep.
My friend was having a similar problem so he flashed from SC 2.9 to the Deoxed eb01, wiped all the data on his SD card, and reflashed to SC 2.9, he hasn't had that problem since.

[Q] GingerBlur 4.5 reboot issue

when i press the power button and choose reboot option,my phone do reboot, but it would leave screen a blurring shadow and then reboot.anyone who use GingerBlur can test it.anyone know how to solve it??thx.
I believe this is known issue...it happens on my phone as well...
I think since the reboot option was ported over from another phone to the atrix, it is not fully compatible with our phone...the code would have to rewritten specifically for our phone...I could be wrong however, hopefully a more experienced dev can shed some light on this...
Happens with mine too, but seems just a cosmetic problem, as the reboot is fully functional.
Same for me, but never considered it an issue. Phone reboots fine.

[Q] (MIUI)- Phone to not stay off while charging

I just flashed MIUI earlier today and when I finnaly turned off my phone and popped it on the charger it sprung back to life again (or in other words booted back up)! After this discovery I tried a few more attempts at charging with the phone off but whenever I hook up the charger it boots right back up again... Not sure why it's doing this but it's slightly annoying... Is there anyway to fix this?
Also, another issue is that whenever I boot my phone I have to manualy pull down my taskbar and hit the little data icon at the bottom to get internet. Is there a setting so that I can have my data signal load automatically (like it did on stock and my previous ROM Trigger 3.2)?
Those are both known issues..though very minor bugs they are,to me are so easily overlooked and easy to get use too.
There is no fix for either.
I feel those minor bugs are just that....minor. compared to all the other advantages.

[Q] Suddenly, OS doesnt load

SGS2 I9100 with Ressurection Remix ICS_v2.4_AOKP-B39-4.0.4
Device was working fine, battery was low (<5%) so i connected my charger; went to sleep, woke up and tried to turn display on - couldn't ... i thought that maybe phone was battery dead when i connected it so i long-press the power button to start it up but nothing was happening.
Disconnected the charger, took out the battery, waited 20s then put it back, connected charger and tried to power on => sgs2 splash screen .... .... ... showing desktop screen w/o icons and after 5-10s device shows "Shutting down" vibrates and shuts down.
Rebooted into CWM recovery, reinstalled ROM => no change
Rebooted into CWM, wipe data/factory reset => no change
Any ideeas what is going on? is the battery malfunctioning?
Try a new battery in the first instance. If it still happens once you've done that then we can look at other causes. Also, if you feel so inclined, do a clean install of stock & see if that fixes the issue to rule out something in your current setup (rom/kernel/etc) causing the problem.
thanks, been thinking the same about trying another battery but that is something i cannot do today

Galaxy SIIX SGH-T989D crashing issues

Hi,
I'm looking for some general advice and troubleshooting for my phone's issues. My phone started crashing very often, sometimes at complete random, as well as when I was using it fairly heavily (any app that froze my phone for a second before loading before the crashing would now crash my phone). Sometimes it would reboot fine, other times it would bootloop once or twice before reloading fine. I previously tried doing a factory reset, removing my external microSD card, and updating everything via Kies and nothing worked.
I got bored and rooted my phone, did a full wipe, and flashed the latest Infamous update. The problem was still there but it wouldn't crash as often while using it because my phone could handle higher app activity but it's still there. Oddly enough, after flashing Infamous, it often fails to reboot and so I have to do a battery pull before turning it back on, otherwise it won't even vibrate after holding the power button.
I'm just wondering if you guys have any idea what the issue could be. Is it likely still something I can fix? Is this potentially a battery issue or is it a hardware issue?
Thanks so much!
