I believe that flashtool requires Java to be installed. Could that be your problem?

[Q] help seus

i need to repair whit seus but never ask for repair, i can't with flashtool because i can't turn on the debugging, how can a do this.
I do that, use flash tool and an old version that I had saved and worked to perfection
You don't need usb debugging enabled to flash with the flashtool. Just turn off the phone.

This is confusing please help!!

Ok please help!!
I want to flash a 2.3.3 ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1209891) and it says to install the latest kernal and baseband .71 so this is what i did..
1. first i flashed the X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_1241-1846 and it had .71 baseband but i cannot root it through flashtool therefore no xrecovery therefore i cannot install the custom rom..
2. flashed x10i_2.1.B.0.1_GENERIC (.67 baseband) and then flashed .71 and my phone keeps restarting..
WHY DO DEVELOPERS THINK THAT EVERYONE ARE AS TALENTED AS THEM!! WE'RE NOT!! please make it easier to understand!! im so confused!
restore with SEUS, root it, install xrec. copy rom (2.3.3) on sd card and enter rec and install rom. do not reboot when its done, pull the battery out. enter flashtool, flash .71 baseband.

can u tell me where i can find the generic 2.3.3 ftf file and the rooting procedure..
If you can upgrade you phone through PC Companion, do it. I will not recommend you use FlashTool to upgrade, but if you want ftf file. Here is it: http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/0OIDEZNA/
Root method and xRecovery (for stock Android 2.3.3 not Eclair): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196808

both SEUS and PC Companion are different.
try re-installing or try using flashtool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Using SEUS, it will work perfectly. PC Companion sometimes ... (what I have to say???)
i've tried both pc companion and seus and still nothing :/ when i use seus i get to the "connect device while holding back button" screen so i do, i get a green LED which stays on for about 20 seconds then goes off and is never recognized by seus. computer recognizes it......help this is very frustrating
thanks
tyler
Did you continue to hold the BACK key when connect the USB Cabble? You must hold it until SEUS tells you release it.
yes i tried that and now i'm getting a windows bubble saying "usb device not recognized" and then after a short while green LED turns off. sorry this is being so difficult...

Pc companion sees my x10mp like "big"X10

I have problem Pc companion sees my X10 mp like "big" X10 and installing X10 drivers. I can browse my files on card etc but I can't flash kernel in Flashtool I have error no drivers installed. When I pick up my phone in Flash mode my PC freeze and I mus restart PC . I haven't got this problem earlier. My x10Mp is running on nAa 11 kernel.
EDIT
OK I know solution of PC freeze I must run PC in safe mode But Pc companion detect big X10 not x10mp and when I turn phone in flash mode phone is in flash mode about 10 sec then phone normal starts
EDIT2
Sorry for my bad English
try the repair option in PC Companion, it will let you select your model, instead of PC Companion detecting it, you can get to it without even attaching your phone to your computer, just plug it in when it asks you for it (which is the connect in flashmode stage). maybe that way it will work
You will be back on stock firmware, but i guess that can be fixed again.

[Q] Bricked????

My X10 gets as far as the Sony Ericsson logo but my computer wont recognize it. SEUS or flashtool wont recognize it either though it appeares I can get it into flashmode, like the green LED comes on and stays on. I have installed and reinstalled drivers multiple times and I have flashed stuff with flashtool before so I kind of know what I'm doing at least. Any Suggestions would be great.

Try this :
1-Install Sony PC Companion
3-Download flashtool 9.0.0 and not the latest version (because the latest one doesn't work for the X10 I think)
4-Install the drivers located in flashtool's installation directory for ex : C:\Flashtool\drivers
4-Connect your phone in flash mode (plug the usb while holding the back button) and wait for the drivers to install
Just go back to stock 2.3.3 ROM, search for it on the forum, download it and then flash it using Flashtool.
you only need the drivers you have with pccompanion. latest flashtool works for me. search for "dixperia 7 avenger", there youll find stock 2.3.3 kernel. flash it with flashtool and retry to connect to seus.
