Added Green and Red

EDIT: Works fine but the colors are off. The status bar (wifi and cell bars) are more blue and the toggles are more green..

So, flashed Eclipse 0.7 and then flashed this and it gave me no notification bar at all. What did i do wrong here?
It works except it gives you back the stock signal bars and 3G signal icon. Also the color is off as well I think. Look forward to future updates! Thanks!

I had a modified cyan version running on eclipse 0.6 and tried it on 0.7 You can find that version in navenedrob's stock pulldown toggle thread. I had some help from mattfox over there. Anyway here's the version I'm using on 0.7 now. This one has mattfox's black toggles with some cyan added and the 0.7 default icons added in. I personally like the wifi icons in amf118's zip better. I'm keeping amf118's stock zip in case I mess things up too bad.
Hope this helps somebody.

I just took a look at some of the pngs in the eclipse .7 SystemUI.apk. I see four shades of cyan in there. Here are the hex values of those.
#329196
#76c5ca
#3fb5bc
#7ee2e7
I used the color picker tool in gimp to select the color. Then if you click on that color on the toolbar it brings up a custom color box and displays the hex value.
i remade the cyan toggles and made a red and green one too. Im Posting it shortly

Made this for myself and thought I would share. Support will be minimal due to time limitations. Unless there is a major problem.
This has been used with CM6.1 on both a Vibrant and Nexus One.
Not responsible if you don't know what you are doing.
Included apk's are:
- Browser.apk
- Contacts.apk
- Phone.apk
- Settings.apk
- mms.apk
- framework-res.apk
All of these are fully themed using the gingerbread files graphics files.
XML edits were also done to make the menus black with white text.
I didn't include the gmail app since it is from the market now. If you want to theme the notification icon, use a morph that is posted in the theme section. Or use ninja morph.
Enjoy!
p.s. must change clock date and notification text colors to match in CyanogenMOD settings (UI tweaks)
Wow booted with no problem. Awesome work... can u boot this on a nexus too or did u modify it from the nexus, for the cm6 for vibrant... its really themed well.
It will work on the nexus as well. Confirmed by my co-worker.
Nice! Maybe I can use other cyanogen mod themes from the nexus forums
Do I load this using morph or CW?
Flash in clockwork recovery
Looks good. Just want to know,
in case I want to go back to the previous theme, what should I do?
Thanks for the work and help.

I just ripped open the framework-res.apk included in this theme and the green bar .png's are indeed there, so not sure what's causing them not to show up.
What weather widget is that? Can I find that somewhere around here?
ok so, there must be some major issues with the network in my area today. I normally get bars and today I haven't gotten any but my data is there, however, very spotty as well. Guess is they're fixing the network or something. The green bars should show up as they have on other 2.3 themes, as the .png's appear to be there in this theme as well. Thanks OP.
Wow thanks so much.

You could get arrested this in most areas.
Let me work out a few kinks. There are two I can easily port over.
The first being Cognition:
The other is Serendipity:
http://serendipityrom.weebly.com/screenshots.html
Now, don't look at these and think you're going to everything pictured under each respective ROM. Those are full blown ROMs. I'm just pulling the theme, so the overall colors and base android icons will pulled.
Cognition is the easiest because it's text color and menu colors are spot on for our devices. Serendipity would require a few tweaks since it's black text isn't working well with it's black menus. Not sure why it doesn't pull over the same as it appears on the phone, but it doesn't.

Looks like they ported over the MIUI (beta) to the Captivate. I'll start working on a port immediately. I've got a couple of bigs projects this week, but will get back on the themes afterward.
Is honeybread a possible candidate? Loving it on my Cm7 Evo..
I've uploaded a modification to my theme. It now includes the Cognition HDPI theme. If you raise your LCD density, it will automatically switch to Cognition. If you want to revert back, just lower it back down to stock settings.

Yes, implants to make it compatible with CM7, but I am waiting for CM7 to become a little more stable. I would flash this update since it flashes a new services.jar.
I looked at porting to CM7, but couldn't locate the files for the menu and back button. Will probably hop back on it in the next week or so.

I'm curious, is there a way to make the notification bar black instead of the default blue, without custom ROMs (which don't exist yet)? I'm running the pre-rooted Gingerbread 2.3.3.
Edit: I don't mind editing whichever system file it is in to change the color, I'd just need some pointers as to where it is and how to go about doing it.
Holy crap did all those custom roms in the android development subforum disappear? I think one of the devs over there is specifically making a black bar theme for his rom

They are there, but none are for Gingerbread yet (There is one for GB, but I think the dev said something about he hasn't changed in graphical components yet). I'm not your average unintelligent impulsive user, fyi

That's exactly what I was looking for too.
Black Notification Bar
I have successfully changed the status bar of my Droid x2 to black. I will be attempting to post a guide on this as soon as the site allows me to.
I have made a theme for both Streakdroid 2.4.4 and DSC 0.52. Both of these were made from each one's framework-res and systemui apk's so as not to break any customizations the chef's had put into their roms. The theme uses transparency, numerical battery, custom notification icons, and red accenting. I hope you enjoy. Please make a backup of your framework-res.apk (found under /system/framework) and systemui.apk (found under /system/app) in case you don't like my work. If you have the DSC version of the rom, I've done this for you and you can simply flash the stock DSC file provided.
As always, I assume no responsibility. If you find a bug, you get to keep it. If this breaks your phone, you get to keep the pieces.
The 8MB limit prevents me from uploading them here, so here are some external links:

The site is not compatible with your mobile browser...has nothing to do with the themes. You can try to change your browser setting to show up as a desktop pc rather than a phone, use a different browser (I like Dolphin HD), or download from your pc then transfer to your phone.

I'll see if I can work some up tonight. I'll have to rebuild the theme for DSC 0.53 since I've flashed that update since making this post this morning. I can give you a rundown of the settings I used in the UOT Kitchen.
Kalagas animated icons
Digital number style battery bar
Transparency in the pulldown with Bright Silence background. Androidian topbar and notification bar.
Red overglow, red spacer lines, red busy animations and a red glow around popups.
I think the two red codes I used are FF0000 and 850000.
No special fonts or bootanimations.
Nice work. I really like what you did here. Status is no longer so flat. Red highlighting is very cool.

Just thinking, since DSC already is green themed, and you already made the red theme, why not a blue theme too. That might cover all the users needs I guess.

Suppose if we want to go back to old theme, do we have an option to change theme (Like Win7/XP)?
Thanks

Hi all,
This is my first theme using the UOT Kitchen. I recreated the stock Gingerbread status bar as well as the overscroll that you see in lists. I tried to get it as stock as possible. This includes the gingerbread icons and battery icon and black status bar.
There are two versions available. The first is the most stock, with the normal orange overscroll, and the other version has an android green overscroll instead (which I prefer). Everything else remains the same.
They are based off the stock framework but should work for all 3.0 Amaze ROMs.
Flash these like you would a normal ZIP in CWM recovery. And always make a backup before flashing anything!
Let me know what you think.

12/21/11 - Updated the themes with more accurate battery colors, fixed the data icons/arrows to the correct green indicators and corrected the headphone icons to stock GB.
Please include which rom you used (framework). Sometimes the little things make all the difference. Good job BTW.
