Getting strange things happening, sometimes when I try to download an app from a market and click install it opens the last app I downloaded instead, Just wondered if its something im doing or anybody else had this.?

Happened to me more than twice.
so far, that problem didnt appear to me..
This happens to me on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Sony Tablet S. I think its just Honeycomb.

Yeah, my thoughts also. The quirks I encounter seem Honeycomb related. Haven't encountered anything of concern.

No problems,
What kind of problem do u have?
Once I launch it a there's a black screen, then it closes, no force close just straight up closes I tried it on my cliq and the same thing happens.

Its actually not on the market anymore. Im using darkys rom on my vibrant and cm6 on my cliq

I cant link you to apps but try to find an apk online maybe you just have a bad download

I agree with what others have said, which is that you probably have a bad download. Unfortunately, the developer had to pull his three versions of the calculators due to "licensing" issues with TI. http://twitter.com/supware/status/43803417298214912

I had the same issue yesterday, never had any problems opening it. I uninstalled it then couldnt find it anymore on the market...
Had this on my former SGS1 too. Eg. is Yahoo mail shown as installed even though it has never been on my new SGS2 only on my old one.
Any other experiencing this?
Do you have em installed on any other android devices?
In the web based market?
Yeh, it does that for some reason, you can install them just by hitting the button that says installed (would normally say install) it will install OTA like normal.

No. For now it is just this way.

cheers will give it go when I get back home to my tab Tried friendcaster pro but that kept "encountering an error" so uninstalled it

This seems to be a bit of a drawback with Android apps - they don't work aswell as ipad apps. There seems to be a lot of trial and error, whereas from what I've heard and seen (on my iphone), the Apple apps just work.
I still can't get past the lack of Flash on the ipad though, so I'll have to forgive Android's shortcomings...
I got the same problem a week ago.
then i updated my android version from 3.2 to 3.2.1 and the Facebook App stopped to work at all.
it only opens, but no info shows up.
I'm using tweetdeck right now

100% of the time same problem here. I don't think wasting your time with a factory reset will do anything...
REMOVED APPS DOWNLOAD - To install, simply place the apks in /system/app. These will NOT install like a normal APK.

Placed them, changed permissions like the rest of the apps i'm using and still nothing happened. What exactly am i doing wrong? They won't work at all.
After placing the apk, reboot your tab and check.
done that. still nothing.

Please share what made you say this was solved or point others to the place where you got the solution from.
It might in the future help others dealing with the issue from this point.

Same problem. Does anyone have a solution?
I've not ever had this issue on any other device in the xda app. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled and still have this problem. The only solution is using a browser and just having the app for notifications.
This has been an ongoing issue for awhile. Mod told me that xda is no longer being updated. It's not your device.
Hasn't had an update since 2021
Happens to me with Brave too if I try to quote someone.
So far it doesn't happen in Firefox, Vivaldi or chrome but the app itself happens every time but never happened before on any other device

That's ridiculous. I don't use the app though I just come to the site in the browser and it works just fine.

As I normally would use gboard I'm using the samsung keyboard for the spen handwriting and haven't found anything to replace that functionality.
