I brought a brand new S2 from Ebay, seller was great and it arrived in sealed conditon as described. Anyway love the phone however, I notice these smudges under the screen as described here:

So it should be under warranty but who do I contact?.Samsung to sort it out?.
Anyone please?

Hello
I just purchased a white Galaxy S2 i9100. The phone was obviously sealed as it was bought from Vodafone Germany.
Now, removing the usual "brand new" display protector (The one with the phone's features printed on and so forth) ... After that, I really thought the phone had a bare LCD, I always cleaned it, etc, shiny and clean. However, after a few days I started seeing a bubble come up....
Then I realized it had a preinstalled screen protector? Really thin and I can see it on the edges of the phone...
Anyone else has experienced this?
Probably it was bought by someone else earlier who might have installed the screen protector and later returned it to the shop for some reason.
Odd. I don't think mine has a screen protector. But there was a very thin plastic covering on the home button, which I found odd.
Mine neither, if it has one you would have seen it at the front cam, the sensor, and the speaker bcz they are left out.. my home button got one too, yay
mine neither, too.
The only Protector was the thing with informations about the phone

I just got the screen and digitizer replaced on my HTC Amaze, it was a one piece replacement. Now, i can use the phone normally and the screen doesnt jump around like it did before, so i guess there was a bad digitizer..
However, now there is a large black spot in the center of the screen, and im not sure what it is....
It seems that the touch interface in that area is still responsive, and it tries to blend into the color scheme of the phone, but when the screen is off or black, it is quite visible...
There is no plastic or screen protector on it, so its not a bubble from that. I did a factory reset, thinking for some reason it would help, but it didnt... And being that i just bought the screen new off ebay, i was not expecting this.
Any help would be great! Thanks
It looks like a busted LCD...

So my issue now is as follows (the phone wasnt mine, i just got it for cheap since it had bad digitizer so i bought it):
The old screen had a bad digitizer, and in the process of removing it, the glass is now cracked.
The new screen from ebay has a the black spot and is currently in the phone.
I called HTC, and it seems that my phone is under warranty. (I know, this should have been the first thing i did. Stupid Mistake!)
Question is, will HTC fix the screen (even though its not the original screen) ...?

Try doing a manufacture warranty exchange through t mobile. (That's if your with them). I did that with a sensation I got from a trade. Told them there was dust under the screen, they sent me a replacement. 5 sensations later, they sent me a amaze (Kept getting dust under screen with replacement).
Worth a try.

Does anybody here know ANYTHING about this phone? I can get it for about 30$ from a friend. The problem is it's screen is shattered and I can't replace it because official s3 parts wont fit in this ugly housing. I was thinking about replacing it's whole body for the official one and then replacing screen glass but I'm not sure if parts will fit. This prototype appeared on the internet about 3 weeks before official s3 premiere so I hope it's in fact a final hardware design. Every help/info is appreciated.
Hello !
I have again cracked my display on s3, but whitout shattering glass this time -_-.
Last time i bought replacement display for 110$ (with postage) from hong kong, but the screen was somehow smaller, there were bigger spaces between frame and display. Also colors were more white-ish. One word - not genuine.
Is it possible to buy a genuine replacement this time ? Any suggestions (ideally ebay link) ?
Thanks
A genuine display assembly will cost more than a second hand phone, buy one with a dead emmc and swap the display over.
Hi so yesterday i was doing some exercise and unfortunately my phone was in my pocket so when i went to make some push ups on the bar the phone felt to the ground fortunately my screen protector was verry good glas protector if you know Tpix anti blue light so After it felt down my protector broke up and when i wanted to see if the screen was damaged i removed my zerolemon case 10 000mah for note 3 and saw that it was broken. Firstly this wasnt the first time i broke my case but it wasnt that bad cuz it was only on one of the parts so i ignore it but this is to the same spot but the cracking is now connected to the other part of the case so I was wondering if anyone can send me this case in 3d file format so I will be able to print it.
