Tapatalk free from GetJar! - Motorola Photon 4G

GetJar is offering Tapatalk for free! usually 2.99 but its is now free in their gold star apps!
too bad I already purchased it -.-

I have heard others recommend it, but I still don't really know what this does or why its worth buying (or in this case, getting from GetJar for free).
What makes this app good? I mean, I have the XDA app for XDA and the phpbb seems to render fine in Opera/Dolphin for the other forums.
Why do I need/want this app?

I'm not saying you should need it or want it, just pointing out that its for free through GetJar.
What makes this app good is that it can access multiple forums such as androidcentral, ppcgeeks, xda, and numerous others. all in one app. whereas the XDApp can only access XDA ofcourse.
Some people prefer to have an app access all their favorite forums and this app does just that. I believe the XDApp is based of from the Tapaptalk app. but correct me if I'm wrong.

[FYI] OfficeSuite Pro 5 free app

Just an FYI for anyone that hasn't seen it yet.......free app today on Amazon is the $15 OfficeSuite Pro 5.
Downloaded! Amazon has REALLY nice apps every now and then. The last REALLY cool app was the printershare app.

If you are serious about getting SPB the cheapest place I have found to get it is off Handster. If you pay using your mobile (it just puts the charge on your phone bill) it is only $9.99. Unfortunately you won't get alerted to updates but it is pretty easy to go and get the newest version when it comes out.

Just curious. If you pull the apk from your phone, can you install it on another one? Or does it check the day it was installed to verify you got it for free? I am just wondering what would happen if you wiped your phone and then tried to reinstall it??
The app gets associated to your account and then will be available from your Amazon Appstore account all the time.
It was uber gay, it wouldn't let me download it. Kept giving me an error. I have 174 free apps and probably have 4 of them installed. There is an appstore reminder app that reminds me every morning @ 730 to download the app of the day. I love it.

I missed it does anyone feel generous enough to share the apk? officesuite, that is.
I missed it too. I need to keep a better eye on these forums.

I don't think you can unless you mod the APK because it is associated with that 1 account

What app has been a complete waste of money?

I was just thinking the other day about how much money I have wasted on apps. And there have been quite a few on my behalf...
Spb shell 3d £14.99
Goto lockscreen £2.99
Air sync for dropbox £4.99
Plus others. Lol
Is there anywhere that could tell me how much money I have spent or wasted on apps?

Check you bank account is a good start.. and or Google account
Are you married...? That would do it.
not yet!!! hence being on here!!! lol
Rom Toolbox Pro.
Utterly useless. Developer fobbed me off when I made an initial support request then left me hanging after I made a subsequent request (and hinted I might have wanted a refund) & didn't get back to me/ignored me.
A very poor experience all round
LauncherPro Plus has to be one for me!
And, iSyncr for iTunes.
i do not know if you can call this waste of money but i have purchased games and they are top games like gameloft ones when they were on offer but hardly play any of them.. Captain America, Driver and etc...Just could not help myself...But do not even play them so yeah i guess that was a waste of money.... and apps like fitness manager and so on...haha me fitness....probably i see a bargain and can not resist myself..problem is even if it is a bargain i hardly use it
HDWidgets...bought it when it was on sale(10% price sale ) Complete waste of money.
I know what you mean with the 10p sale. The gameloft games are hit and miss. Numerous adw themes. That I don't use.
Although there have been some top apps that have been well worth it.

Defo with the gameloft games lol. Waste of money like modern combat 2, gangsta. Best money spent is launcher pro, root explorer and xda premium.
looks like an iphone but powered by android baby!!!!

Shell 3d. It's a decent ui actually but just too expensive. The 3d effects get boring real fast.

I hate to say it, but supercurios app - Louder. I totally respect the guys work but it doesn't seem to do anything special for my device. Volume+ works much better for me, especially with the extra bass.

Well how the hell do you expect to be able to keep tabs on important things like spending and what to think or say when you won't invest in the basic wetware required?
Or are you running some flavour of trial version?
Shazam - the first app I purchased, just to learn that Soundhound does it better and free!
Slide it keyboard and HD widgets - bought them at the 10 billion app festival, and I'm not using it. but hey, worth the 10 cents!
Spb shell 3d
Slide it keyboard
Sleep talk recorder
Hd widget
Dungen defender

Never real spent enough on an app to worry to much - Sygic's maps are easily the most expensive, but no regrets there.
Bought a few that have never made it onto newer ROM installations - Better Keyboard (Swiftkey is so much better), adw launcher and a fewthemes (now on Go Launcher ex), App Folder Pro (unnecessary).
Shady, I'm loving Voodoo Louder, and hated volume +

Yes. Have you heard of cheap parasitic bloodsucking miserly tossers who are too tight to contribute to developers' efforts?

[Q] May I know what is the Best app for tracking stolen phone?

Cerberus is possibly one of the cheaper ones to buy/use, Lookout is another one i have used in the past, but charges you a monthly fee or annual to use where as Cerberus only costs about $2 for a lifetime.
I believe there are some free ones also available like findmydroid or wheresmydroid (or something along those lines, i forget what its called) but i have not tested them yet
if its already been stolen its in the market and its called plan B
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
I second the Cerberus recommendation. It's got a one-week trial before you have to buy an inexpensive, lifetime license. It's quite powerful and can do some amazing things. I recently tested its picture taking ability, which I hadn't used before. Sweet to be able to get a pic of the thief. Look at its Play page for details on everything it can do.
It can do even more if you're rooted, like allowing you to install it as a system app and hiding from the app drawer.
The best free solution is avast! but I think Cerberus is best even tough it costs a mere 2$ lifetime licence.I belive its worth the money.

No, there is nothing like that to my knowledge. All the apps related to that will be on google play. Mods/scripts are provided at sites like XDA.
No.... Android doesn't lock everything down like apple. Google play=cydia

There are also a ton of 3rd party appstores like the Amazon appstore.
There are a LOT of them.

There may be a app called blackmarket... But I wouldn't suggest using those sort of apps that give out paid apps free, you cut the legs out from families dinner tables doing so. It's morally wrong in my opinion. I never even used cydia to get paid apps free, I paid for apps I felt I needed.

Google's stupid 15 minute evaluation rule is a real good reason to use a black market Site. Test the app thoroughly and then buy it for real on market.

Or, you could just use titanium backup and test the app after, "returning" it. Than buy it later if you like it. But, I think piracy is just wrong. Like I said prior, in my opinion It's morally wrong.

i personally have no problem downloading from blapkmarket
BUT if i use the app for more than 2-3 days - i buy it
google should give people a few days to decide if the app is worth it or not. or a longer return period

To buy or not to buy?

Basically, as owners of this tablet. I was wondering if I should get it. All the specs seem good, the reviews I have read are almost all positive. I have managed to find one used for Canadian 200$. Should I buy and why or why not.
Thanks

it depends on the future use. I wouldn't recommend buying it for games, cause it's not the fastest one on the market now, but for everything else if you have the money, why not?
