Smashed mine a long time ago and got a replacement; Droid Charge. Now I have a working TB but the digitizer is beyond gone. Is there anyway I can still play around with it without a digitizer/touchscreen?
if it boots then you could prob use adb to pull or push things but thats about all i think you could do.
Why not get a replacement digitizer and have a fully working tbolt?

I had problems with my data about a week ago and Big Red did all kinds of test on my phone with nothing resolved. 36 hrs. Without data and a new phone was sent to me. Now my old TB is working fine so it was Verizons service in the area that was down. My question is should I used Revolutionary root to restore my old phone and root the other or leave it as is? My phone isn't hurt always in a case and a screen protector.

I would always keep my first brand new phone. Anything sent to you as replacement is like-new. Service is up and down as they tweak their system. Keep old phone.

My original was sent back in June when all the problems with the reboots were going on.

i agree. whenever you get a "like new/refurbished" product, you have no idea what happened to it originally(or how good the "fix" was) or more importantly, how much use it's been put through and how much life it has left.
Well, I've noticed with my photon the vibrator stops a lot and i have to bang the phone to make it work again, and this very annoying when my phone is on vibrate (missed texts and such) or when typing, I don't get my feedback that I really need, so i took the phone apart in hopes of simple replacement (like in my evo 3d) but it looks like it's soldered to the board, can anyone confirm this? I would rather not have to replace my entire phone just for a vibration issue :/

Yes, it is soldered to the circuit board. I've done similar repairs on other phones, so use a 20 watt iron and go slow. It's not very hard to replace.

Thanks for the reply, since i have extra phones anyway, I might give it a whirl

Btw, when you try it, use desoldering braid to remove it. Less chance of messing up.

Hey guys my screen went out yesterday. I took it to Verizon and I am getting refurbished rezound under the total protection plan.
I am rooted...unlocked....custom boot loader...and Rom...c
Do I need to try to relock and factory reset every thing?
Since the screen went out due to bad hardware...does me having custom Rom and software screw me when they put a new screen in the old phone?

Its hard to do without a screen. But if you use the rezound toolkit you can run the ruu and that will get you back to stock. the progress will show on the command prompt so you will know when its done. Like the post above said, better safe than sorry. Chances are they won't even check though.

Best to unroot if not and they see its rooted they can deny your claim and charge you full price. Not worth the risk

Didn't unroot. Didn't S-ON. That's just me, though. Mainly because I forgot. I had no problem with it from Asurion. Though, as others said, better safe than sorry. You never know.

Newbie here. Recently got the HTC One and started using it.
Everytime i take a picture with the flash or put the phone on loudspeaker, the phone will shut off itself and i have to manually power it back up. It also was doing this even when not in use.
I was wondering what can be causing this,
That's some sort of defect and you should get a warranty replacement

Thanks man.
Just actually called in to HTC and they told me re install the rom and if that doesnt work they will do the ticket for warranty.
Why not use at&t?

even if i was not the original owner of the phone?
I heard good and bad stories from that particular situation, some say it's possible but it's hell. Give it a try and do not be specific, but it's based on when the phone was bought from them so it's pretty unlikely.

I believe the warranty is on the phone and not the ownership. If your account is in good standing, they should warrant the phone. And yes it will be a refurbished one.

Dropped my phone on my tile floor and smashed the screen. Thought I'd be daring, ordered a replacement screen, $20 with digitizer. Followed the guide. Turned on, looked great but the touch sensors are all messed up. Redid everything countless times and even threw the old screen back on. Still totally messed up. Needless to say I don't want to spend $100 on a refurb. I'm stuck on my bros incredible 2 which sadly runs better and faster on beanstalk than my rezound did. What the hell should I do with the rezound?!

So sorry dude. You can always install cheapcast and use it as a media streamer.
