Repair it using PCCompanion
Adding to that, you may also find it easier to do it on a windows-based pc.
This is caused by did the full wipe and then reboot the phone. At this time, there is no system files in the phone so it won't boot. Need to repair using PC Companion or SEUS or Flash Tool.

Hi,I am this friend who cleverly full wiped with xRecovery. However, my windows7 computer still cant detect my phone, and proves to be a problem.Anyone can help me by giving me a step by step in getting my phone back into flashable mode? or help fix this?
Same kind of problem here with a friend's phone I usualy use a htc desire.
He updated hi X10i (stock, not rooted), since then there's no boot, only exclamation mark for a few secs, and no usb.
I tried "<="+usb/power on -> exclamation mark, no recovery.
It's not detected in any way by my pc (installed sony tools etc...), windows or linux (no kernel message at all), same usb port, same cable, my htc phone works in both.
What can I do ?
Thanks !
You have to connect the phone in flashmode...

I had the same problem a while ago. Phone not detected by PCC/flashtool, SEUS, no xrecovery... started to panic
Then i read a post here somewhere about wotansever - its free but you gotta sign up.
http://www.wotanserver.com/en/
It detected my phone where all others failed and flashed it back to stock rom.
Try it - it works
Once you get it working again heres a great guide for flashtool (flashing/rooting/BL unlocking)

It does not turn on when pushing "<-" and pluging usb.

Hi Guys!
My original x10a was sold to a close friend of mine, whom accidently accessed the xRecovery menu, and select to delete the SYSTEM and DATA partition.
Now he is stuck on a endless loop of being on the Sony Ericsson boot logo text screen.
Only way to power off the phone is to physically remove the battery.
Anyways, I am trying to complete a factory reset with the 2.1 firmware, so far, I am out of luck.
I have WIN 7 x64 running, with both 32-bit 64-bit JAVA SE and development
I also have installed Android SDK, wit all the possible packages, including USB Driver Revision 4
I also have Flashtool downloaded from this website, which included the SEMC drivers.
Problem is...I cant get the computer to recognize the phone at all.
I tried even Sony Update Software as well as Companion software, with no luck.
I am physically in flash mode ... solid green LED, but the computer is not detecting the phone at all.
Flashtool is advising to connect my Xperia phone, when clearly my phone has the solid green LED with black screen (hold down back button and connecting the USB)
First I thought it was the cable, which I replaced with a OEM one, still no luck.
I removed the SD card, 16gb from the phone, and connected through my computer for flash memory sticks drive (all in one), and the card was blank.
I am presuming my friend would have deleted SDCARD data as well
So, now I am stuck in a limbo, how do I fix this?
just to give you hope, if you see the se logo that means that your phone isn't bricked.
it's probably some driver that's not installed properly. I'll let someone with real knowledge explain whatto do.
Something like this happened to me. I know it sounds stupid, but have you tried rebooting your computer?? I did that, and it worked again.
Uninstall SEUS,PC Companion and then reboot the PC.
Then download SEUS and install it. Start SEUS , go through the process. It should detect it now.
Can you access xrecovery? If you Can, download a custom ROM, follow the instructions to install.
Don't forget to extract your ROM to sdcard.

Hi All!
Thanks for the input, I do appreciate it.
I am at work right now, but will try it this evening and let you know how it proceeds.
Just as an FYI, I did restart my computer once the Java, SE Companion, SEUS, and Google SDK were installed, still had no luck, but I will try again
To access the xRecovery, it is pressing back button couple of times right?
But the SD is blank, should I use a PC to initialize the SDcard with Xrecovery and everything?
Try this steps...
1-Download a custom ROM to your sdcard and extract. (Use your PC)
2-Reboot your x10 and press a back buton many times.
3-Make following in Xrecovery
*Factory reset
*Wipe cache partition
*Wipe dalvik cache
*Wipe Battery stats
*Install custom ZIP
*Reboot
*Let the phone 5 minutes alone please...

Hi why don't you use flashtool to flash a new rom? I had read in somewhere else here about this tool and seems to work flawlessly to recover bricked xperia..
End of Life ....
Hi Guys!
Sorry for the late reply,
Been extremely busy with work.
Anyways, it seems I got myself a malfunctioning motherboard or broken/damaged usb connector.
Thus, I can't do anything, it is going to cost me $150 bucks to repair.
I cant get into flash mode, as soon as I do that (the green led), windows states that USB device has malfunctioned and my Xperia continuous to the boot logo screen and stuck there.
I tried just about everything, unless anyone else knows better way?
Just to prove the USB connector is damaged, the wall-charger is not even working when the USB is connected
This sounds really extreme. Can you charge the phone? Can you connect the phone to the computer and get a solid green light - ie - flash mode?
I've encountered a similar problem, the battery is completely drained, so much so that it can not connect to the wall charger, can not connect to anything at all.. just gives three flashes of red led then stops.
The only solution is to charge the battery for a few minutes in another X10 and then with enough power, get back into the phone for long enough to re-establish charge being sent to the battery.
IF you have charge and are able to get to the white SE logo, you just need to use the SEUS software to force restore of the stock firmware.

Just one more question, have you tried changing the USB port? Sometimes the device ID gets messed up and the only way is to switch to another USB port and make sure the phone connects to the computer with the USB cable and that you have a device id.
EDIT: Worth looking into these two threads;

Problem is I am not sure what your exact problem is as I would like to help more!
The newest version of Flash Tool has drivers package included, it worked for me without installing (or reinstalling) SEUS or PC Companion. Look for a 'drivers' subfolder inside the extracted files.
Can you charge the phone?
My USB port has completely died and I've not a working phone even, so I'm unable to work on custom kernels or anything - I don't have an X10 any-more until this USB port on the phone gets re-soldered
Hey guys
I have the problem that my x10 mini pro has stuck in xrecovery while flashing a rom and now ich can't flash it anymore because no pc recognices it
Seus and binarys flash tool don't see my phone so I can not flash it
but I can enter flash mode
please help
in seus start support zone click repair and go further till it shows up that you need turn off your phone and pluging usb with pressed back button.
but my pc and others don't recognice my x10 mini pro...
so seus does not see it
just try those steps first :
1.unlug your phone from pc and turn phone off
2.start seus selsct support zone, click repair phone select continue then next
3.your pc will start prepaering for update
4.select mini pro from list
5.conect usb to pc and then press and hold back buton and conect usb onto phone
6.then it must start dowloading update and repair phone
if still dosent work reinstall phone drivers on your pc and try again.
There is no support zone anywere -.-
drivers are installed correct casuse I flashed it before with no probs
do you have this?
Edit: sory my bad install Sony Ericsson PC Companion from oficial site if you dont have it
I have found it but it still does not work
my pc does net see my phone I don't even hear the sound that it is plugged in to my pc
that is my problem pc companion and seus and binarys flasher don't see it...
is there a other way to flash it?
or is there a thing like the usb brick thing like the galaxy s ?
repeat those steps above with Sony Ericsson PC Companion.it need to work.if still not then are te drivers on pc messed up beacuse this is the only way to fix phone.or try flash tool.
for any other ways i dont know i havent got that kind of problem.
I have tried it several times but every time the same result...
my pc does not se my phone (no sound that it is plugged in)
so I can not flash it anymore...
now I have a full Brick -.-
you cant brick your phone so muct that you cant fix it.
if your pc doesnt recognize your phone then is problem on your pc not phone.
so just for try reinstall your drivers and then you will se
EDIT: can you go into xrecovery and use it?
I have tried it on several pc's and I installed my drivers to flash it correct...
I had done this before and it worked
my pc's havent changed since then...
but after I flashed slades froyo once again (had random reboots, made wipe and tried to install again) it stuck while flashing in xrecovery and the only thing I could do is to put the battery out...
And now it won't be seen by any pc...
and not form seus, pc companion, and binarys flash tool...
then i dont know what is going on with your phone beacuse no one had this kind of problem.
can turn on your phone is there any sing if it's working?
I can turn it on and it repeats booting...
classic bootloop but nothing else no xrec and not even charging -.-
and it is not seen by any pc -.-
well your phone is still working this is good sing.
pc will not recignized your phone when is on boot.
but is strange why is not recognized in flash mode.
maybe you could try with hard reset and then it could be recognized.
hard reset is on the right site of camera over sim try with that
can you post a picture of that?
and are you sure that this is a reset button?
well some one on forum mentioned that.
hmm I tried it but nothing happened -.-
an it does not feel like a kind of button...
guess I need to send it back to se...
and wait 3 weeks till i get it back
USB maybe

HElp Help Help!!!!
Ok. Judging by the fact that you're stuck on the Sony Ericsson logo, I'm assuming you're on the stock kernel and also on locked bootloader. Because you tried to install BlackHD Edition as well, I'm assuming you also have CWM.
The simplest method is if you made a backup in recovery and can access recovery. If you did this, you can simply restore the backup to get the ROM and data you were using before back. If this does not work properly (sometimes backups are screwed up somehow in recoveries), read on for the flashing method.
The X10 showed a green LED when you plugged it in which suggests that it can access flash mode (which is what I'd expect if you didn't tamper with the X10 so much as to break even that). If you have FlashTool, the following series of instructions should work:
1. Download the Xperia X10 stock firmware and move them to the firmware folder of the X10 FlashTool (the firmware can be found in this thread as well as the latest FlashTool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746)
2. Open FlashTool and press the flash button at the top left of the program
3. Select the stock firmware from the list and press ok
4. Instructions telling you to turn off and unplug your phone and plug it in with flash mode should pop up (hold back while plugging the cable in). Follow them and wait.
If you did this properly, you should have flashed the stock Sony Ericsson firmware with everything as it was when you bought the phone (if you flashed the 1.6 firmware) or updated the X10 to 2.3.3 (if you flashed the 2.3.3 firmware). That should be the most fail-proof and reliable way (I've saved my X10 from my stupid experiments through this several times already)
Just a little side note: If my assumptions are correct, you tried to flash the BlackHD Edition MIUI-based ROM through CWM on a locked bootloader and stock Sony Ericsson kernel probably without flashing the lockedbl.zip that's provided in the BlackHD Edition thread. Most FXP custom kernels work with that ROM without a problem, but the stock one just doesn't because it's far too different. You could have either chosen the locked or unlocked installation method on the thread (I know because I've done it before). The unlocked one requires an unlocked bootloader and a FXP custom kernel, neither of which I think you have. The locked method only requires CWM installation and for you to flash the lockedbl.zip after installation. I think your issue must have come from the fact that you forgot that last part, or some other strange error occured.

yours assumptions are correct.
About instructions to how to connect to flashtool, i know they. i click on flash button, select firmware and when pop up to plug-in, i do it...but don't work...don't connect...
As in, it doesn't recognise the device?
I think there's another way where you take the battery out and plug the phone into the computer. The green LED should light up for about 5-10 seconds (when it's in flash mode) where you have a window to select the firmware and flash. I haven't personally tried it, but I'm asking someone who has done it about how it's done. You might want to try that method as you can't really do much else with your phone right now. I'll update this post once I know the exact method and details

Once flashtool asks you to connect USB cable..connect the phone with the battery removed. THEN replace the battery while holding the power button and it should start up into flashmode.
It may even work without holding the power button...

If your bootloader is locked, you can choose the option to repair phone in pc comp. Another possibility why your phone is not detected might be because of drivers.
It may also because of his usb not working , the problem might have started . I want to check out whether your phone is charging and i also want to know that in devicemanager your phone when connected in flash mode shows as "semc usb device "
Thanks

Hi, first of all, sorry about my english. I think it's terrible.
I have a SE WT19 stuck on FXP bootloop.
I had installed a custom kernel, but i guess i did something wrong.
At first, my cellphone is on bootloop (in some custom ROMs) or just on black screen.
So, i tried to flash a new kernel with flashtool, or a stock Rom with PCCompanion, but my device is not recognized by Windows 7.
Also is not recognized by Linux, or Mac.
The kernel that bricked my LWW was wt19i-live-rage2.7-kernel-for-fxp-cm7.
There is something possible to bring it alive again?
Ever uninstall and install all drivers and tried in another pc, aways shows the same message.

The phone doesn't seem to be bricked. Try using Flashtool on another computer. Make sure you do have those fastboot drivers(when you first connect your phone to Flashtool in fastboot mode, Flashtool gives you a notification that drivers need to be installed for the device. I confirm that the ones provided in C:\Flashtool\drivers work for LWW )
(Always make sure the kernel is compatible with the ROM you're trying to flash)
Start with the stock kernel(the one provided inside the CM7/CM9 zip - boot.img). Then flash the relevant ROM and see what happens. Once that works fine, start tinkering with various kernels out there.
Don't worry, it's just a soft brick
I haven't bricked my WT19 yet but I did soft brick my former X8 and Someone else's Galaxy something...
What I can advise you do is flash the whole stock .ftf ROM from Sony, just search for the 4.1.B.0.587 firmware, flash it and start from scratch.
About your pc not recognizing your phone: how then did you flash the kernel?? Do have the Sony PC Companion installed on your machine? I have it just for the driveers, I know Flashtool comes with them but I rather have the offiicial somethimes... I think MediaGo also comes with them.
Anyhow, I hope you can get your phone working. Let us know how it went

Hi guys,
All tests done.
Other pc, or OS, do not recognize my device.
Tried another notebook, tried another windows version, another Linux and MacOS, nothing works!!
So, this process of kernel change could cause some hardware damage?
I really can't change the kernel in cwm recovery?
Just to recall, I can change the battery, got the phone in fasboot/flash mode, got CWM working, install new ROM but, or finish with bootloop or with black screen.

can u help me with links?
Hi there,
I have a rooted xperia u with unlocked bootloader. I've tried to install the cm9 following a guide where the requirement of the installation was having an original Sony firmware installed on the device. I didn't saw that requirement, and I installed it with a custom rom on my phone. So after flashing the kernel I turned on my xperia...
Bricked.
It made only the vibration but no Sony logo appeared. So, I connected it in flashmode on my computer (with windowsXP) with green led working, but flashtool gived me the message that I must install the phone drivers (even if I had already installed them on my pc). I tryed to reinstall them but nothing canghed.
I also tried to connect the phone on a windows 7 pc always with flastool (and drivers installed) but in that case neither fastboot mode or flashmode, nor any vibration was working (pc doesn't detect it).
I tried to connect the phone with removed battery or also a reset with power and volume up buttons but nothing...
It's still like this, with fastboot mode or flashmode not working with any pc... :crying:
Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks in advance.
Head to Sony service centre
Hit thnx

Sorry Cwikla, I didn't flashed the kernel, but the rom. I wrote it wrong.
Try getting into fastboot. Even without drivers, you might be able to do so. Bring up the fastboot menu in flashtool, then plug in your phone in fastboot. Quickly hit reboot into fastboot (via fastboot). Then flash another kernel and restore a nandroid backup(if you have one)
