I got 5119 on NT vs 2636 on NC.
Under Information shows build number of NT:
1.4.0.1029.acclaim1_4.acclaim.rldp.s51317
Kernal:
Linux version 2.6.35.7 ([email protected])(gcc version 4.4.1 (Sourcery G++ Lite 2010q1-202))#1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Nov 11 12:35:42 PST 2011
My highest is 2380. The first one was 1789 then i ran it about ten more times and each time it creeped up by 50-100. Does any body else see some wierd black artifacting on the planets part? Like on the moon.
yea mine was artifacting there
Thanks for the posts, I get the artifact on NC CM7.1 stable. Best score 2520. [email protected]

Hi,
just managed to install and configure Kweek3 (an Android compiled Quake 3) and it is running. Unfortunately I don't have a ext. Keyboard and Mouse. That's why I am playing with the volume buttons to walk forward/backward (Interestingly, kweek3 tinks that these are F2 and F3 Button )
Nevertheless, I am wondering if there is something wrong. I am only getting around 6-9 fps out of my streak. Should the hardware not being able to do more? Or do I really have to wait for Froyo (or something in that direction) that I get it smoothly?
How high are your fps?
I think its best to wait for Eclair. Check out the benchmark results for yourself:
http://www.streaksmart.com/2010/08/dell-streak-benchmark-scores-greatly-improved-by-android-21.html
Some of the FPS readings for Eclair are not much more than on Donut
Could you give us some download links, or is it...you know... wink wink nudge nudge?
has anyone else tried linpack or quadrant or the other benchmarks mentioned.
in quadrant I get 7.19 much higher than the supposed donut score posted by the endgadet bod..
what we really need is the jit and the qualcomm 3d stuff enabled in a kernel..

+1 in quadrant i get 676(2nd run i got 666 xD) 1.6 unrooted at that as well kind of made me wtf at the engadget benchmarks, though linpack wise its pretty much the same.
Just google for kweek3. Then you would find a link at google incl how to install it...legally

I am currently running UK 2.1 with comavolt non-voodoo undervolted kernel and EC09 modem. I have noticed that with the comavolt kernel I haven’t seen any increase in battery life if anything my battery life is worse. I used cpu spy to see the time the cpu is spending in each state and I am spending over 90% of the time in the deepsleep state. Does any of these undervolted kernels affect this deepsleep state or are they only undervolted from 100 MHz to 1000 MHz states? I was thinking that maybe they do not affect this deepsleep state and that is why I am not noticing any difference in battery life. I am trying to determine if it is worth trying the OTB voodoo kernel and create my own undervoltage settings but if they don’t affect the deepsleep state then I won’t even bother. I am trying to get the best battery life I can get out of this phone.
How can I tell if I am running comavolt kernel? I loaded the zip file through CWM with no errors. I have been running it for weeks now but when I look at the kernel information in cpu spy it has the following.
Linux version 2.6.32.9
([email protected])(gcc version
4.4.1 (sourcery G++ Lite
2009q3-67)#1 Mon Apr 11
17:55:39 EDT 2011
I didn’t see any mention of comavolt or time infinity so I am started to think that I may not be running comavolt kernel after all. Is the above correct for comavolt or is this a stock kernel?

This gives me the same info that cpu spy gave me in post #2.
So I saw that people were getting some high scores in linpack. Like 100-120 (multithreaded)
So.. here's my scores:
Linpack: Singlethreaded : somewhere around 55 mostly
Multithreaded : Usually 80-90. sometimes around 92 and my highest score was 95 (only one time) Sometimes the scores get around 77 though
Quadrant: Best scores were around 3800 (only after several runs)
Smartbench: Cpu: Around 3850 Gpu: Around 2330
So people.. do these scores seem right?.. I always kill every app before running the tests.. Wifi on or off doesnt seem te make a lot difference.. (3g still on though). Im on kf3 and have not rooted my phone.

Sure about the linpack scores too? Or were they just with custom roms or something?
My benchmarks are: Fruit Ninja THD, www.eurogamer.net and 720p videos. Oh and does it play all the music files that I have?
So, my questions to you and the questions you should be asking yourself is: is it smooth? Is it sexy? Does it scroll through that full website without hitching?
If the answer is yes, you should be good to go.

Exactly most people on here take benchmarks too seriously, they are just numbers and mean nothing in everyday usability of the phone. all that matters is if the phone is able to handle everything you throw at it, which the SGSII is more than capable of doing.

I'm using stock KH3 and get about 85-95 with Linpack multi-thread. Scores over a 100 are with custom Rom and overclocking
Oh and it is running at 1.2ghz.. If that matters..

Well it does have random hiccups/jitters. For example sometimes when I scroll between homescreens (might be the widgets) but mostly seeing that some ppl were getting much higher scores made me wonder.
Hey everybody! I love my Mini Pro but it seems to be running really slow lately. I notice it gets hot sometimes (especially when tethering) and I'm starting to wonder if the heat has damaged my phone and slowed it down...
Using AnTuTu Benchmark Free (v2.9) I get a score of 2918
Using Quadrant Standard Free (v2.1.1) I get a score of 1313
So how does your Mini Pro compare?
I'm still on Gingerbread (no ICS for me yet) and the benchmark apps are saved in the phone memory (not on the memory card)
It seems to be running slower. My Scores (Stock Gingerbread):
AnTuTu Benchmark 2.9 - 3265
Quadrant Standard - 1497
Do you have a lot of apps? Where they running while you run the benchmarks?
my scores :
Using AnTuTu Benchmark Free v2.9 - 4008
ROM : real ICS r5.2
kernel : boot mango lite v3
overclocked to 1,5 GHz
Real ICS 5.2 on MESA 1. 4 kernel scores 3200 on antutu.
Real ICS on xtended kernel scores 2700
No overclock.

Hi
Before going into benchmarking, do you see something wrong in logs (read them with catlog app), things like as many errors?
Did you ckeck for running apps that could eat cpu, produce heat, and slow the device?
Ending all apps that are eating cpu!
Antutu:
Total Score: 3118 (2/5 Stars)
CPU: 1041
GPU: 1279
RAM: 364
I/O: 434
Quadrant Standard:
Total Score: 1360
CPU: 1873
MEM: 1446
I/O: 851
2D: 1042
3D: 1587
xperia mini pro, rooted, stock gingerbread 2.3.4 (4.0.2.A.0.69) on stock Kernel
No overclocking, everything stock
U R ALL NOOBS !!!!:silly:
Xperia mini pro with krsh kernel and stock 4.0.4 rom : 4689 !!
only with 1.4 GHz overclock...
Ouch ! Should I worry with scores of 2984 (AnTutu) and 1239 (Quadrant) ?
Running FXP130 (kernel and CM9) without any overclock.

yes u should !!!
i got the score : 3992 with cm9 kernel fxp 130 (no overclock)...
Ok, now I'm worried... Where should I check first ?
- I already checked the logs (with aLogcat), and did not found too many errors (Something about AudioHardwareMSM)
- I looked at the processor business (very approximate translation (found in developers options)), but I fear I'm not the best at reading the result. Is this like the top command in linux (with the CPU load for 1, 5, 15 minutes) ?
- Lastly I took a look at the battery usage. Nothing incredible here, but could have gave a hint...
Oh I forgot : I'm using the interactive governor.

What about battery life ?
Well, I'm going to test, but what I need is a mobile/wireless phone .
Oh, and one more thing : I did not kill any app. Just rebooted the phone before testing : I want to know what my phone can do with all I need activated.
OK, I see a lot of ppl are worried cuz of their score....
That's BS if you ask me. What counts is you experience with the phone. Is it fluid, fast, responsive etc.
Say if you have a scoreof 4K, but the phones is sluggish. What's the point with these opsessive benchmarks then.
It's nice to know your score, but it does not mean that your phone is better than a phone with lower score.
One time, after I applied some tweaks my score dropped from 3K to 2700. And I don't care cuz the phone was faster. Regardless of the score.
TL,DR:
Take your scores as a reference only. Your phone can be fast and responsive even with a 2700 score.
Benchmarks are stress tests. It does not measure user experience

The answer to ur problem is : download a stock rom and flash it...(with flashtool of course)...U'll be fine... :good::good:
OR if have recovery installed : do a factory reset and wipe user data and dalvik cache (instead of flashing)

Hi there. I recently bought a second hand atrix which has been used for 6 months. It seems clean from outside and seems to work fine. But transitions in the desktop seems not smooth enough. So I decided to do a benchmark and get an idea about its performance.I think the results are not what it is supposed to be. But I want your help to identify it better.Phone is using 2.3.4. Its original ROM i think. If you could help me if the results are normal or not I would be very glad. Because i still have time to send the telephone back to its former owner.
First I used quadrant and the results are : Total 2093 , CPU: 2567, Mem:2683, I/O: 2874, 2d:267, 3d:2075
ANTUTU : Total Score : 5152, CPU : 1449, RAM:938, GPU:2163, I/O:602

So, I've never cared much about benchmarking, but I thought I'd give it a whirl for kicks and to help.
I ran Quadrant, and here's my results:
Code:
Total: 3136 | Mem: 3315 | I/O 7376 | 2D 501 | 3D 2013
Now, I am not running a stock ROM, and I'm overclocked to 1.3Ghz. Both of those could have a huge impact on performance. It's been a while since I've seen my stock ROM, but I remember seeing a huge performance difference the first time I flashed CM7 on it, which is what I'm running now.
