I would like to thank a few people whose contributions to the Streak Community have helped me to create the Balanced Kernel. Sergei (_n0p_) and the DSC Team for their Phoenix Kernel, 985hPaKicK for his source code for his CM7 Port. DJ Steve and Fards for their GB Kernel. The Team at Cyanogenmod for all of their ROM work. All of the Beta testers for your suggestions and time spent. The Kernel is kind of a Frankenstein of tweaks and codes from a few months of research and testing from Dell, XDA, Modaco, Github, Google and more. The Voltages were adjusted from 950-1400 by 25mV to help with power saving.
Here is the next installment for Longhorn. I changed the default Launcher to HoloLauncher. It is an ICS clone that is very lightweight and quick. I have improved the battery life slightly and made a few other tweaks. Thanks to all of those that have help to make this Rom what it is today.
BIG CHANGE: In order to do a Complete Factory Reset, You will need to do a StreakMod Wipe Data/Factory Reset as well as a Dell Factory Reset.

1.) Download zip file to SD card
2.) Reboot in Streakmod Recovery
3.) Make Nandroid Backup
4.) After backup, install Longhorn_2.X.zip
5.) Perform wipe data/factory reset from SM Recovery (blue letters)

Longhorn 2.7 is a little bit different as I have re-added most of the CM7 Functionality back into the Rom, with it still being bare bones. So now the Theme chooser and CM Settings are built into it already. Longhorn 2.7 has a Red and Black theme that comes stock. I have changed the scheduler and made a few minor tweaks to help speed up the I/O a bit. The minimum frequency is 128mHz and the max is 1267mHz due to the zdrive from DSC CM Kernel. Battery life is moderate, but can use some improvement.

You should try clearing cache, and reboot and see if it works. If it doesn't, try a factory reset. I have seen with a few other GB ROMs it doesn't like the dhd.ko file mixed with the boot image.
Oh... another adventure, should give up sleeping for a few days again ~~

i am testing tyour rom so far seems snappy, im having 2 issues;
1- hardware "home" button not working,
2- wifi connected but no inet
am now rebooting , will post later if this fixed issue
oh, btw, ive wiped cache and dalvik and done a full dell factory reset.

Switching screen, scrolling... all smooth as a silk, very impressive
One problem I found out...
ADWLauncher EX (Paid version) acts weird .... very hard to describe but if install, will know what I mean when switch the screen...
can someone try ??
Other lauchers are all ok as tested but I didn't try ADW free version from the market because "Your device is not compatible with this itme" shows up..

If im not wrong you shoulf go to search new network an then choose your network but 3g..coz on stock rom its show 2g and 3g network....
Correct but also u can switch from network mode(wcdma-3g and gsm-2g i think or maybe is reversed)

@X8invisible13 You should try a Clean2.1 Stock rom by Phonck...its really fast but it laks some functionality, you should try to modified it( offcourse first ask his permission for it)

I guess your provider is not recognizing you device well, look at system status and see if it shows E15a or E15i, if it shows E15i maybe that´s the reason you only get 2G connections
Well, its great rom, fast and stable, but after uninstalling some useless apps like fifa, google talk and other market just dont wanna download anything its says downloading but nothing happend......
It happens whit me too,thats because market itself updating to the 2.dont know what version,wait a little and reboot,whem it update,will work normally!

It happens after update, because after update iv downloaded some files and after that its just stop working

just flash a ROM like shostock that well change you're build.prop to an i9100. Or modify the build.prop.of the ROM you're flashing then flash it. I believe you can prevent it from checking.

Please reinstall Kernel or use an other Kernel. Status 7 Error comes most of the times from a bricked CWM. Dont worry this cant brick ur Phone completly. ^^

Difference is updated MIUI and always latest CM9 nightly. cMIUI do a great job.
I only started it to get more performance, stability and smoothness. I do my best to fix all problems. ^^

updater script is looking at build.prop for model #.
edit updater script check for build ID.
Something like that. Google it.

^^^ this. You can either do what Moto suggests, or if you're not technologically inclined, just flash any Rom based on an 9100 firmware like shostock 2 (now version 3) and then wipe and flash this. It'll update your build.prop to show i9100.

Running this. :3 Getting random crashes. Not to often, not sure if only me or if other people have this occasional problem. Also does anyone still make GB MIUI I miss being able to theme the Framework and Status bar in one click of a theme.

Antutu : 5852 with sd write and read 0 and CWM kernel and new antutu version
try to wipe system before flash rom if you use TWRP
I think what caused the bootloop is not the rom. It's the fix.

Op you state that do a factory data reset. And if it doesn't work, do a system, data wipe.
You will have to wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache. System is optional, but recommended!

Yes , play store is in the ROM but don't appear in app list , if you intall it the system ask you if you want replace it.

Yes , play store is in the ROM but don't appear in app list , if you intall it the system ask you if you want replace it.

Yes i use CWM
I think bootanimation could be the problem.does not work on twrp.please fix i really want to try this rom,

Whats BUGGING Out
Bluetooth calling does not work
Installing V1.4.1
1.) Download V1.5 from link below
2.) Reboot into recovery
3.) Do a full wipe cache/delvik/system/data
4.) flash rom
5.) if s-on reboot into bootloader and flash boot.img
6.) reboot and let rom FULLY come up (meaning you are able to access the internet)
9.) Some users will have to go into mobile settings and select the longest option, and then reboot...should come up then, if still fails, flip airplane mode dont go into mobile networks.... Not sure why this is on some and not others. it worked just fine on 2 rezzies and on a third did not...working on figuring this out!
Video Tearing Fix
1.) Download the update.zip file
2.) place on sdcard and reboot into recovery
3.) Flash via recovery
4.) Try either of the video players.
5.) if the default player fails to play, install mxplayer from the play store
Please note that there is still some tearing but its 10 tens better with this fix..still working on trying to get it better for you all
Long Press Home Button Thanks jpstealth for the fix
1.) Menu
2.) Settings
3.) Buttons & Keys
4.) for Long Press Home change the action to "None"
This will allow the long press action to work everytime. Working on fixing this for the next release

Change the Verizon Wireless in Status bar
Found an apk file that can change the carrier's name to whatever you like, i cant find out the original author so please pm me if i abuse your work just install it as a normal app then write whatever you like, switch airplane mode on and then off after save the changes,wait about 5 seconds then it will change. after a reboot you may lose you signal, just dial *#*#4636#*#* and change back the phone mode and reboot, all done and enjoy!

known bugs, according to the maker
1. stability to be improved, because this is based on CM 4.1.2, which is not as stable as 4.2.2 (but stable enough for daily use)
2. default wallpaper goes wrong
3. USB debugging goes wrong sometimes, better turn it off

It's an upstream version. Pretty much havent had the need to change anything as of late(for like 6 builds now). Figure I got a stable base ...

I had been running Miui on my previous Moto Droid X and it had been awesome! Very quick and easy to use.
I am not sure about the widgets on MIUI as that's not my favor. It looks like iOS interface but with more functions!
