Cwm 2

Does anyone have a flashable version of cwm 2 for glacier? I don't really trust rom manager to flash cwm2 on a gingerbread rom and want to do it manually to go back to some 2.2 based roms.

I have used rom manager several times to "downgrade" as well. No issues ever and is the fastest method by far.

[Q] flashing a new theme

When I already have a theme flashed and if I want a different one do I just flash that one?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
Eh not too sure about that one. You should always do a nand before flashing a theme. But if I were you I'd do a nand right now, then after reboot flash the new theme and see what happens. If it doesn't work, just restore your nand backup and then start over from scratch if you have too.

Make a backup of your current rom first, in case you don't like your new theme or it doesn't work (as stated above), Then wipe cache & dalvik (you won't lose your data), then flash the new theme.

How to get HTC lockscreen back?

Anyone know what's wrong? I rooted my phone (htc method if it matters), installed a sense ROM, got root explorer, removed HTC lockscreen from system/app, and now I want it back. I tried putting it back, rebooted, and it still isn't working. I try to install but the installation fails. Please help?

Just wipe cache/dalvik and reflash the ROM. All your stuff will still be there but the lockscreen files will be rewritten

I am running a custom rom and put the original weather lockscreen apk into system apps, changed the permissions, but it still doesn't show in my lockscreens, it shows 6 instead of 7. All I am trying to do is get back the original weather wallpaper.

Doing what I said to the OP above should set you straight as well.

He may be missing more than just the lockscreen apk.. he wants the weather option back
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
If you do what joehunni said you should be good. Just wipe cache and dalvik/cache and reflash the rom. That will put all your stock system apps back to where they need to be.

[Q] Want to Install Theme Chooser

Can I install CM's theme chooser in my Photon 2.3.5 using peteer's ROM?
I tried installing an app called Theme chooser.apk but couldn't. Is there any flashable zip for Photon unlocked versions, which we can use on our Locked ROMs
No you can't, because it's for AOSP ROMs only.

[Q] Unistall default apps, lockscreen

Hello,
I have bought Desire X from second hand and I need to do some "tuning".
1) I need to uninstall some defaut applications from HTC, but I dont know how.
Because when I uninstall some application, than app is back after reboot - what the hell?
I am using Titanium Backup free.
The applications are: 7digital, Facebook, Twitter and many more...
2) I want to change lockscreen, but when I open Settings > Personalize there isnt any lockscreen settings.
I have a rooted device with unlock bootloader (CWM) and it runs at Stock Deodex ROM
You need to flash a kernel with write protection disabled, just choose one from Original Development Section (most of the kernels there are for JB Sense ROMs). For lockscreens, they aren't available on Sense Lite; so you have to flash a Full Sense Rom for this to work.
