Came with the 1.13 system software release.
Personally, I always prefer to pull files from their original source rather than some random person.
RUU .exe and .zip files are hosted here: http://www.goo-inside.me/shooter/ruu . You can extract the boot image from inside of the 1.13* PG86IMG.zip inside of the firmware.zip file.
Hope that helps!

Look here
I know it says for htc unlocked phones, but the process of unrooting is the same. Just use the 1.13.651.7 RUU, after it flashes go to fastboot and type:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
and you're done.

No it can not. You need to go through fastboot.

I tried that and it fails.
Seems hboot 1.5 doesn't allow it. That's why I was hoping this tool might help.

I haven't had to flash a radio but if you look around I think there's a radio zip file you can try just go through boot loader using adb.

Unfortunately that fails too.
The boot loader finds the zip file, tries to update, and then stops at "Parsing"

Thanks for trying sir.
yeah. We talked about this the other day. I do not believe there is any way to downgrade radios on hboot 1.5
An ruu won't work and you can't flash it through fastboot. You should be able to take an ruu or ota to upgrade a radio, but no way to downgrade that I have figured out.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Yeah, that's really too bad. I have found with this phone that the only way to get good call quality is to use the original prerelease radio. Otherwise people simply can't hear me half the time. Looks like this one is going on ebay.
Sorry in advance if this had been covered before but there are so many different threads everywhere i don't know where to start. As of right now i'm running 1.50 s-on and have been attempting to use the HTC method to unlock the bootloader. I have no problems or errors at all til i get to i think it's step 13 or 14
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.152s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) unlock token check successfully
OKAY [ 0.006s]
finished. total time: 0.159s
it appears that everything goes through but then nothing happens? my phone just stays in the same hboot screen. What am i doing wrong? thanks in advance and sorry again if this has been covered but i'm somewhat noob to rooting and am still trying to figure all of this out.....

And just so i'm clear i go into fastboot and while in fastboot i run the .exe on my comp? or do i put it in the root of my sd card? Sorry again for all the questions.....
Put your phone on fasboot usb .
Run RUU.EXE
And your set. It will take about 10 min to complete.
Realize that if you remove your USB while its updating your phone might end up bricked so be careful to not get it unplugged.

Right on thanks guys i finally got around to doing all this and it worked. One last question....Any advice on a particular ROM to flash? I was looking at the Nocturnal Adrenaline E3D 1.0.2 ODEX?? what do you guys think? Thanks again for all the help...
I'm currently running MeanRom 3.92. It's really good. Lots of features & easily over clockable on included ziggy kernel or Anthrax Rls8 Final. Also includes other options that get loaded onto sdcard for flashing.
I flashed leedroid Tweaks, & anthrax, clocked to 1.728Ghz. Stable, fast, quadrant average about 4k.
All up to your preference really, but some consider it a good idea to stick with 2.17 based roms if that's the radio base you have.

I am s-on and trying to flash Tron. I am currently on Rage 1.8.
I don't mind flashing the boot.img through hboot at all. However, I can not get the image to flash to the phone. I had this problem before when flashing Rage. The phone just decided to take the boot image so I don't know what I did differently to get it to work.
I used Scott's CleanFlash and that wouldn't work. I try command prompt that wouldn't work.
Any ideas what is keeping the boot image from flashing? Thank you in advance.

You should be able to flash a boot.img by booting your phone to bootloader.
Then on your pc, navigate so that the command prompt is where you have your adb stuff set up. Have the boot.img file in there too, and then type the following in the command window:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Should flash.

Yeah, I double checked that. I few times actually. I am gonna try to change USB ports to see that works. It fixed this issue for someone else.
This may sound dumb, what is the difference in the firmware and radios? I mean, I am sure there is a big difference, but what, other than the radios, are included in the firmware? I have the .310r and .308r radios.

Failed remote not allowed is usually because you have a locked hboot, sounds like you updated firmware and hboot but didn't unlock the new hboot.
You might as well drop the global RUU on your external sdcard and boot to hboot and flash it, then unlock and flash recovery.
Yes it makes a huge difference. In an s on device you update the RUU which is the rom, kernel, bootloader and recovery and radio and modem firmware ans drivers. It also changes some things like mount points.

Just wanting to double check before going through all of it. Also, if my hboot IS locked, I should be able to just run it and not have to "fastboot OEM lock" will I?
Also, I saw where it said you will lose data. Is that internal or both?
Sent from my Rezound using xda app-developers app
That's the correct link.
You're right if your hboot is locked you shouldn't have to fastboot OEM lock. You should just be able to place it on your ext_sdcard and then boot the phone to hboot and it will ask you to run update.
Only the internal storage should be wiped, ext sdcard shouldn't but I always recommend copying both internal and external storage to a folder on the computer just in case. Also make sure your contacts are synced, and anything else backed up from the system itself.

Put your sd card in your pc or mount it, which ever is your favorite way to see/load files from your pc. Open the drive and find the folder options. Click view, and check "show common file types" or something to at effect.
I have found doing this as a general setting on your pc to be very helpful. Your pc will still show you the file as a zip even if it is name.zip.zip. Hope this helps!
