Came with the 1.13 system software release.
Personally, I always prefer to pull files from their original source rather than some random person.
RUU .exe and .zip files are hosted here: http://www.goo-inside.me/shooter/ruu . You can extract the boot image from inside of the 1.13* PG86IMG.zip inside of the firmware.zip file.
Hope that helps!

Look here
I know it says for htc unlocked phones, but the process of unrooting is the same. Just use the 1.13.651.7 RUU, after it flashes go to fastboot and type:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
and you're done.

Sorry in advance if this had been covered before but there are so many different threads everywhere i don't know where to start. As of right now i'm running 1.50 s-on and have been attempting to use the HTC method to unlock the bootloader. I have no problems or errors at all til i get to i think it's step 13 or 14
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.152s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
(bootloader) unlock token check successfully
OKAY [ 0.006s]
finished. total time: 0.159s
it appears that everything goes through but then nothing happens? my phone just stays in the same hboot screen. What am i doing wrong? thanks in advance and sorry again if this has been covered but i'm somewhat noob to rooting and am still trying to figure all of this out.....
If your cdma you need to run the latest ruu 2.17 ruu exe . Once done then apply the unlock code your set.

You can download the ruu in the sticky on how to get back to stock. I had this same problem and that's how I got it fixed.

ok one last question? I'm at the shipped roms.com site and there are is a .zip and a .exe of the RUU. Which one should i DL? if it's the zip do i extract it to the rootevonew folder on my C: drive? And just so i'm clear i go into fastboot and while in fastboot i run the .exe on my comp? or do i put it in the root of my sd card? Sorry again for all the questions.....
Put your phone on fasboot usb .
Run RUU.EXE
And your set. It will take about 10 min to complete.
Realize that if you remove your USB while its updating your phone might end up bricked so be careful to not get it unplugged.

Right on thanks guys i finally got around to doing all this and it worked. One last question....Any advice on a particular ROM to flash? I was looking at the Nocturnal Adrenaline E3D 1.0.2 ODEX?? what do you guys think? Thanks again for all the help...
I'm currently running MeanRom 3.92. It's really good. Lots of features & easily over clockable on included ziggy kernel or Anthrax Rls8 Final. Also includes other options that get loaded onto sdcard for flashing.
I flashed leedroid Tweaks, & anthrax, clocked to 1.728Ghz. Stable, fast, quadrant average about 4k.
All up to your preference really, but some consider it a good idea to stick with 2.17 based roms if that's the radio base you have.

Ok cool, and i can just flash that using the fastboot method right? What about the kernel? Do I need to flash that seperately or does it all go in with the rom?

Yes, once you enter recovery VIA fastboot command prompt everything will flash fine. See the Hboot 1.50 guide flashing notes in my signature for details or just get 4ext recovery.

Ok i got 4ext recovery and am trying to figure it all out, I read the thread on 4ext but I'm totally confused. I download the rom, put it on the root of my sd
Card, then open 4ext and when I install through 4ext do I still do the full wipe/dalvik cache wipe, etc. Etc? Or can I just install Zip from sd Card?

it works the same as any other recovery, but when you choose the zip to install, a menu will pop up asking you what to do prior to the flash, that is where you do all your wiping...enjoy

I think this has the ability to...if I recall it was flash in Amonra, then boot into bootloader and select bootloader and it will cycle through and find the phmg.img and install the firmware. However, since your s-off it should automatically. I remember this one keeps root which you need.
Forget what I said, here is the link with details.

Yeah I flashed that before and then the gb patch. It never booted into bootloader though. It worked and all but when I went into hboot nothing was changed.

Any news on if the Final RUU is ever going to be released? :/
Scott's rooted roms doesn't include radios or hboot. You can find the full RUU here:
http://goo.im/devs/dmeadows013/RUU_Files/RUU_VIGOR_VERIZON_3.14.605.5.zip
This is the latest RUU that you flash in hboot. Just rename the file to PH98IMG.zip.
Referenced from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19756694
Edit: Didn't realize you were s-off already.
The RUU will update your hboot with a version that won't let you put on a custom recovery so from the 2nd link I provided, at the bottom of the page, flash one of the hboots from there. Just rename it also to ph98img.zip and flash from hboot. Then you can install amon-ra and you're set to go.

The RUU I linked will wipe everything to stock, including the hboot and recovery. You'll lose amon-ra and the stock hboot won't let you re-install it, that's why you need to flash a eng/custom hboot then reinstall amon-ra.
Okay. I already flashed the eng hboot. Nothing changed though?

Guess I'm not being clear.
1. Download the RUU from the 1st link, it'll be a big 400+ mb file. Rename it to PH98IMG.ZIP and put it on your microSD card. Boot into your bootloader, it'll automatically find it and go with the update. It'll then reboot and you repeat the process to finish the update.
2. Then install the eng/custom hboot, and finally amon-ra.
Okay I'll try that again but I haven't been able to download a RUU successfully. Each time I download from this link it says archive is corrupted

My evo 3d's screen gave out and instead of replacing it im sending it to HTC since its covered under the limited warranty.
The guy told me as long as I haven't loaded 3rd party software on my phone that it'll be ok even if I used HTC's tool to unlock the bootload (which I did). I was trying to follow this guide but the link given in the first step is dead:

I used my NAND backup to restore the original sprint ROM, but I think I have to still actually flash it and restore the recovery. Were else can I find it since that link is down?

All you have to do is download 2.17 RUU .exe not a zip. Relock device and run RUU.exe while the device is attached to fastboot usb. Once the exe goes through ur done your phone is restored to normal don't worry if ur phone shows relocked and a security warning just run the 2.17 RUU it will fix the security issues. This will also unroot ur device.

Put your sd card in your pc or mount it, which ever is your favorite way to see/load files from your pc. Open the drive and find the folder options. Click view, and check "show common file types" or something to at effect.
I have found doing this as a general setting on your pc to be very helpful. Your pc will still show you the file as a zip even if it is name.zip.zip. Hope this helps!

Depends on the unlock method you used. You'll probably need to re lock if you used htc dev and then use the allinone tool.
