I want to upgrade my Galaxy Ace to Gingerbread (2.3.3) but the problem is i dont see Gingerbread (2.3) version for this Model of my Phone (See Above).
Please tell me what is the best firmware this.

i have got my SGS2..but when i tried to update from kies i got message like
"there is no update for your samsung..."
My android version is 2.3.3 and not rooted
baseband : I9100UHKI1
i want to update to 2.3.5
any advice ? any steps i should follow ?

It means your Brazil/Argentina firmware does not have an official update yet. If you want to change to a non-official stock firmware, everything you need is here: Official i9100 Firmwares KG, KH1/2/3/4, KI1/2/3/4/8, KJ1/2 Download.
BTW, that thread implies your firmware should be 2.3.4.

Hello all. I'm new to this forum. 1 week ago I bought Galaxy s 2 from Computer City in Denmark. It runs fine now, but can not upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5. Kia can not find 2.3.5. I have the following data:

Current firmware: PDA: KI4 / PHONE: KI1 / CSC: KE1 (SMO)
Kia: Runs with v. 2.1.0.11112_41
Want your help on how I get on so that I can put 2.3.5.
PS: What is SMO for?

Intersting ... SMO = SERBIA MONTENEGO

But the CSC is not so important.

Please read first post - Intratech has described everything you need to know on how to flash the latest firmware to your phone.
Do not use KIES, just download and use Odin (or if you want to root your phone first you can use Chainfire's Mobile ODIN app from the market).
The latest Firmware for the SGS2 is XWKK5 => Android 2.3.6.
You will find it as Frankenstein ROM in the third post.
And you can combine it with any Modem (baseband / phone part of the firmware) and CSC (regional / carrier customizations).

I am trying to flash my galaxy s2 back to standard. Does anyone have the following files?
Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Official Firmwares Updates plus O2 Stock ROMs releases - from May to June 2011.
Firmware info: XWKF3
PDA: I9100XWKF3
Phone: I9100XXKE7
CSC: I9100O2UKG2

Where can I find original firmware downloads for the S3? I always used SamMobile.com on my Galaxy S but I'm not getting the latest ALF2 showing on the list. I updated to ALF2 through KIES the other day but I like to know I can flash through ODIN in the future if need be.

I have purchased a new SIII for my wife but it has a Vodafone-modified/branded ROM on it. I have been trying to figure out which ROM I should use to get a stock ROM on the SIII (like I did for my SII), but I get lost in the alphabet soup. Which stock ROM can I use here in Australia?
