[Q] Undervolted Kernel or Rom? - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi all
Can someone quickly tell me if theres any undervolted kernels or ROMS for the Lg optimus one p500?
Thanks

ask manufacturers of cores, they need to know for sure, sorry for my English

That kernel is supposedly undervolted. Haven't tested it though.
Also, I'm pretty sure other kernel devs used to say undervolting on our device wasn't feasible, so use at your own risk

Need Help With Overclocking Kernels

Well I have tried several times with different kernels from different people, and none of the kernels that allow for overclocking seem to run. I dont know if its an issue with the roms not being compatible with the kernel. I am also running the RED clockwork recovery. I would just like some help to possibly get a kernel that allows overclocking to actually work.
Well the overclocking kernels are all for eclair android. There are no overclocking kernels for froyo roms and eclair kernels will not work with froyo roms.

tbh, overclock is overrated anyway....give me underclocked, optimized kernels, and im happy
I figured it had to do with the roms, are there any decent eclair roms available?

stick with froyo, eclair is old
Overclocking will give you big numbers you can show off to all your friends, but does very little in terms of improving real-world performance.

While I largely agree, I will say it depends on your hardware. With this phone, overclocking will do little good, as the hardware has more than enough power for most anything already. On the Eris though, overclocking from the factory stock 528MHz to 710MHz made quite a significant and very noticeable boost in performance. That, however, was because the CPU was underpowered and struggled to do the most basic tasks, obviously any speed boost would be noticeable. That's not the case on the Fascinate.

ok thanks for the info....came from the eris so I figured that overclocking would make a slight noticeable difference.

[Q] what's the difference between these two kernels?

hi everyone, i'm not english so sorry if i say something wrong.
i've installed this kernel: CF-Root 3.7 b82
and i know that there's another one kernel (CF-Root 3.7 b83) who supports overclock.
is this the only difference? or it has some defects?
i know that overclock is a dangerous process and that it drains battery faster, but if i stay on the same frequencies (800-806 or 480-480) does it show other bad features?
There's nothing wrong with overclocking (hell you might be the only person who doesn't overclock , that's good)
But it's also okay to stay at stock speeds
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.

[Q] Kernels for ICS?

Hey guys I was just wondering if you knew of kernels for the Amaze that I could use with ICS. I just want something with the ability to underclock, since stock seems to drain a little for me.
From what I've been reading, HTC has yet to release some drivers or the kernel source code (or something like that. Until that happens, I don't think any kernels will be developed.
By underclock, do you mean lowering the max cpu speed? System Tuner Pro can help with that.

Wifi drivers is whats missing. Been looking foward to faux custom kernel for ics, my bets htc releases them once the official ota comes to our phones

[Q] LG P990 Overclocking kernel CM7

Hello,
I've been using CM7 on my optimus 2X for a month or so now and is by far the best ROM i've found for it but have been unable to find a stable enough kernel for overclocking it...
It was a while ago that i bothered overclocking it so i can't remember the names but everyone i used either slowed the phone down or stopped me from being able to do hardly anything...
Now i don't mind changing roms just as long as overclocking works and the rom is good, What are peoples favorites or would i just stick with CM7 with out overclocking? I'd much prefer to have an extra 0.2-0.4GHZ if possible.
Thanks, Jamie.

Any Help Will Be Much Appreciated About Kernel

Hello Amazing Amaze Owners.
I just flashed Faux123 kernel. And after flashing, screen brightness was unusual. Well, I may go with that.
Kernel definitely let me overclock, but I couldn't Undervolt my Amaze. I opened SetCpu and there is no voltage option. I read somewhere that if kernel supports undervolting, it will be there. I'm sure faux kernel supports undervolting, but no such option in SetCpu.
I there a problem with SetCpu or with kernel?!
And I know kernel is about preference, but I want your opinions about kernels. Which kernels are better and why?
Thanks In Advance.
