Cant get Glitch to work with AOKP - Fascinate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can't get this kernel to work with my phone. I'm running THS build 6.5 and the AOKP Build 22 Rom. I flashed the glitch B5 6.1 and it won't give me any 3g. Wiped, reflashed the AOKP, still no date. Odin'd back to stock, same thing. Then I reflashed the rom over the glitch kernel and it just reinstalled the ths build kernel. I also flashed an older version of the glitch kernel and that did the same thing. I'm reading about alot of users that got theirs to work. What I am doing wrong.
I wiped everything before flashing, any other suggestions?

On build 22 it was based off ths build6. Flashing the 6.1 is known to kill data on that ROM.. You should try aokp build 27 and glitch b5 for 6.1 that will get you an up to date setup

Its the AOKP Rom with the Glitch kernel already baked in.
I would recommend clearing big 3 but you can just clear cache and dalvik if you feel lucky.
My phone has never been this responsive and snappy before.

[Q] Devil3_1.6.1 link?

Can't seem to located a download link for Devil3_1.6.1. I've got a fascinate 3g running aokp jb m1. Seems like a lot of people have had a better experience running 1.6.1 kernal. Anyone know where I can download it? Thanks.

The only issues that I have heard of is when 1.7.5 is flashed over 1.6.1. When coming from a clean install 1.7.5 is stable and everything works. I came from clean install and 1.7.5 is working great.

Thanks for the info. I'm fairly new to the root/flash scene. I just flashed 1.6.1 and it seems to run good. I didn't tweak any settings though. As far as clean installing 1.7.5, in my case, would that mean flashing AOKP JB M1 rom, then flash 1.7.5? I just want to avoid wiping data again.
I have clean installed 1.7.5 a few times now, and I can tell you that 1.6.1 still runs better. After a while everything gets a little laggy, and it's noticeable (AOKP JB M1). I went back to 1.6.1 and haven't had any slowdowns whatsoever.

Bootloop in cm7.2 flash.

Changed the recovery to the cwm4 fixed for cm7
Eh03 rom
Atlas_v2.2 pit
Latest cm7.2/gapps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho... could it be my sdcard?
thanks for the help!
Idk much about cm7 but I suggest moving to something newer like cm10.1 (4.2.2) you wont be disappointed its fast, more stable than any GB ROM, and its on the latest version of android

(Solved) Running CM
Well something worked, I'm running CM. I went and re downloaded the rom and gapps directly to the phone and bam, things went off without a hitch, seems it was a major case of user error .

[Q] CM 10.2 Nightlies

Has anyone tried the CM 10.2 nightlies yet? I'm running 10.1 with AJK 4.3 and I'm leary about trying 10.2 until AJK is compatible, mostly because I like the audio boost from using STweaks. Just wanted to see what other's experience has been. Thanks!

Yeah I just installed in a min ago. Seemed to work fine but then I went back into recovery and tried installing STI kernel and now I'm stuck at boot.
...lame. I cant post in the development forum so I guess I'll just be waiting.... CM 10.2 worked fine, its just the custom kernel. I tried every way I know. I used jivys kernel cleaning script and wiped everything. still no luck.

That's what I wanted to find out. I know it works with 4.2.2 but I'm assuming not with 4.3? But I was trying to install STI 2.34... I think the latest is 2.39 so maybe the newer version might work? or am I still wrong??
I flashed the 10.2 nightly from the most recent 10.1 nightly. Works great. Wiped cache + dalvik. Also flashed the 4.3 gapps.
You may want to wait a few days for any initial bugs to be squashed.
Infected's i9100 CM10.2
I too tried the CM10.2 official nightly by wiping cache+dalvik from Infected's i9100 CM10.1 Linaro builds. I then installed AJK not knowing it didn't support 4.3 yet and so was stuck at boot logo.
I don't care so much about the custom kernel. How else can I run a ROM from the i9100 thread but use the i777 CM10.2 kernel? If anybody can just step me through the libs and keylayout changing process that'd be awesome!

PM me a link to the ROM you are talking about and I may see if it works with my alpha AJK with CM10.2 support.

[Q] Process.android.com.phone stopped working???

Device: Maguro
ROM: crDroid build 16
I know this error is often due to 3G/4G connection in 4.3, but I had no problem with this before when I was with CarbonROM.
However when I flashed Vanir yesterday with a custom kernel, 'process.android.com.phone stopped working' kept popping up..
I tried switching ROM to crDroid which many other folks had no trouble flashing Mpokang v10 kernel with, and the same error occurred.
I tried wiping data, cache and dalvik, and reflash again but to no avail.
I'm desperate for help folks, please lend a hand. Thanks.
Try flashing again but sticking with stock kernel that comes with the rom, it has something to do with changes in the latest CM nightlies that most aosp roms are based on. Wait for your favorite kernel devs to update or repack the kernel yourself.
