thnaks, but i got problem that "cant mount sd card"
try this it worked for me
1.have your nandroid and custom ROM on the internalSD.The wont be touched by a format.
2.Boot to recovery and go to Mounts and Storage and format System,Data;Cache
3.Go back and wipe battery stats.Go back and do a Factory reset.
4.Reboot your device.
It wont boot properly cos you have formatted the system so pull the battery, put it back in and boot into download mode. Now flash via Odin the Official LPQ firmware that you can download from SamMobile and root with chainfires CF kernel. Now flash your custom rom

thanks but it is failed
Had this problem every time I have tried LPQ. I've lost my USB jig and today I had real problems getting back into download mode.
Will try formatting the SD card when my new JIG turns up and try again.

My phone crashed while installing an app from play store. It required a battery pull, after which it kept getting stuck on the kernel boot logo (I was on a near-latest JellyBam rom with Siyah kernel). So I booted to CWM. Tried a restore. It failed. Tried wiping data, ok, then it crashed on wiping cache partition. Now it won't boot into CWM anymore. It still has download mode.
Meanwhile my wife is pregnant and as you can imagine this is not the best time to end up without a phone!
Suggestions?

Thanks for your help but I tried everything you mentioned and Odin still fails. Does this mean I have damaged NAND? Is there anything else I can try?
No bro have u putted the pit file in odin before flashing bro dnt loose hope everything have a solution
Yes i did put the pit file. Now after the latest fail it won't go into download mode at all for me. I think it's properly dead now
Downloaded the new Clockworkmod Recovery from ROM Manager only to find that I could not back up to the external SD Card. So I tried reverting back to an older version (v5.8.4.0) and try backing up again to the SD card.
My phone booted into what appears to be a broken version of CWM where none of the volume and power buttons work correctly. Pressing the volume down only makes the screen scroll down. I can't select anything at all. I can boot into download mode but Odin doesn't recognise my phone. Should I download Samsung drivers and try to flash a stock ROM?
This is really stressing me out as I'm afraid I might have screwed my phone up! Any help is greatly welcome.
[SOLUTION]: Flashed a stock ROM and gave myself a stern talking to.
Just flash a stock ROM, sure

I noticed
Also Recovery version 6.0.2.7 refuses to mount external SD card. Any suggestions for an alternative to ROM manager? Or should I just uninstall it from my current ROM?

Have you flashed back to a stock Rom?
Yeah I have.
Then I suggest rooting with auto root and flashing philz recovery after and if it still won't see the card then you might need to format it.....and personally I always do that in the phone.
Hopefully a clean install, with fresh root and recovery will get it going again, fingers crossed

What do you use Rom manager for anyway?

I don't really use it. It just happened to come with the root file I used.
I tried updating Cyanogenmod but needed the new gapps, but unfortunately I installed the wrong one. Now I have no way to access my phone as I can only see "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped". On top of that, whenever I try to boot into recovery to install the correct gapps, I am greeted by a blank screen. I have tried reinstalling the recovery with Odin and I am getting the same thing. Any help?
Full wipe or flash stock fw via Odin
Use Odin if you can boot to OS and reflash recovery of choice.

Hi, I followed this guide: techotvDOTCOM/samsung-galaxy-s2-internal-storage-apps-space-tutorial
to give me 6gb system storage and 6gb internal sd card storage by flashing a PIT and some cw file.
I did this through odin on my resurrection remix 4.4 kitkat rom.
Now I have no internal sd card and only 6gb of system storage and can't install any roms as the sd card can't mount, my gallery can't open, i can't open camera, so it's a big problem!
I think my usb port is slightly faulty on the phone, so either the lead went loose and something went wrong in odin OR I wasn't supposed to flash on the resurrection remix rom.
Any ideas how i can fix this issue?
Thanks
any ideas?
Please help!!
Have you tried restoring to a backup yet? That might do it
use Odin Flash stock firmware, After complete flashed: Remove battery >> Volume up + Home button + Power ( Stock recovery)>> Select factory reset>> Reboot let stock firmware complete install and then there will be pop up to format sd card (Internal), >>> use Odin flash Phil CWM recovery.

Thanks for this, i'll try today and hope for the best, normally when i plug my phone in all i get is usb not recognised, any ideas?
So after trying to completely wipe my GS3 and put it back to Stock before selling it, I think ive somehow managed to delete my current ROM and now cant boot.
It can enter recovery mode (CWM) and enter download mode and flash other recoveries throw Odin But I cant load a ROM back on.
I can't access the SD card and can't mount: /System, /preload, /external_sd, /sdcard
I tried sideloading throw ADB but it cant detect the device and Kies did recognize it when I tried a "firmware upgrade and initialization" but refused to work because of its 'current version' (or something like that)
Are there any recoveries that could help? can you flash a ROM directly throw Odin? (i cant seem to find any that work), how do I fix the storage mounting / folder tree?
i9305, CWM recovery v6.0.2.9 and was running CM 11, dont have any usable backups.
Thanks:good:
Go to sammobile and download the stock rom to your phone. If you want to put your phone totaly stock flash the stock recovery too

You need to ask your question here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help-i9305 << wrong forum this is 19300.Hope you have not flashed anything from here this could brick your device! If you haven't do as suggested in post above but make sure it is for your model of phone.

Why? Odin files overwrite it so whatever you flash before flashing stock rom with odin gets wiped...Also I mentioned it so that the op would not get confused not to have a go at you .
Ok dude
