Still looking to change the 4G icon that att uses to an STOCK 4G icon or H+ icon like on the International one. I just HATE that 4G icon. The ONLY solution that has worked is to rename the _att ones, BUT it doesnt act right as 3 images are the exact same cause the AT&T 4G icon is 3 different images.
Can anyone help me?

I just flashed the leedroid rom. Before this on mobile data my status bar indicator for data would switch between 4g/3g/h. now its only between 3g/h. Does anyone know the original rogers APN settings which came stock on the phone? And I know the evo 3d is not a 4g phone im just assuming that 4g designation is similar to lte or something. Which means faster browsing for all.
So I just got the Deepshining ROM installed on my TMobile Radar 4G (USA)
Have a question about the flashed radio... is it only 3G? Before I flashed the radio and ROM I used to always get 4G (and sometimes 2G). Now, I am spending a big chunk of my time at "3G".
The phone doesn't seem to be slower, so I don't know if it is just branding, or what? Any experience on this?
Also, I did change the settings to make the radio, "North America".

Haven't experienced it. I have an H on my status bar right now and also on Deep Shining.
Did you mess with any other settings after installing?
It's just branding. T-Mobile changed both the 3G and H indicators to 4G. The custom ROM you installed probably has the standard 3G/H ones instead.
I changed another setting on the phone somewhere to display 3G+ as 4G. Now, I am occasionally seeing a "4G" status.
But, it really doesn't matter. Speeds seem good, and seems to be all branding anyway.

just to give some extra info Radar got an 3G antenna and Radar 4G got an 4G antenna and that thingy next to your connection bar doesnt show the actual antenna but just a string from the registry or somewhere in the rom i got an radar and a radar 4g rom and it show 4G but I still got 3G connection
Can anyone point me into the right direction to modify the systemui to show 1x and 3G properly? I love the new GN3 icons but hate the fact Sprint fakes the fulltime 3G even in 1X areas.
There used to be some how to guides like that in the Note II forum. The idea should still be the same.
Thought you'd all like to know as I was going thru the SystemUI.apk file, I found a statusbar icon "4G LTE+".
It's the Verizon 4G LTE styled icon, so it's definitely Verizon.
My guess this will light up when Verizon goes to Voice over LTE - there is several items throughout the system listing voice over LTE enablement, so the phone supports it.
I attached it too incase you wonder what it looks like (it's white, but so you can see it I recolored it black).
Any thoughts?

Think it's for the new AWS network maybe?
No, it's not for the AWS band. Several people on another forum, Howard Forums, have Band 4 AWS and the icon remains the same.

Yeah we got a big thread about it here... I don't know maybe it's for another carrier and just got left in our code. there is an s4 variant that supports that south korean cat4 network.

True, but Verizon's 4G LTE icons are specifically styled for them only - If I could see the source code of the phone I could tell you for sure.

Any one have any ideas about getting just the LTE icon like in aosp on lollipop TouchWiz. They have a flashable zip for the Goldeneye rom in the AT&T forum but it doesn't work on the Verizon s4. Ive been trying to get the right combination of editing the build.prop. but all i can come up with is either the 4G icon or the 4G LTE icon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
