Can anyone confirm that hml is supported on the a200? I want to buy the cables but I don't want to throw away money. I know it's on the GN so is this built into ICS?

Iv seen what looks like a pretty decent cheap tab.
Its a Kogan Agora 7in tablet selling for £125 brand new at kogan.co.uk
It has a 1ghz processor, capacitive screen, android 2.3, usb slot and hdmi out. Its also compatible with 3G dongles and external hard drives.
Just wondered if anyone has any experience using one and know if its possible to root or flash one.
It sounds like a pretty decent bargain to me just contemplating purchasing one.

Have you looked at viewsonic gtablet? There are a lot of different roms for that once you have it rooted.
7 " size - Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
1.Stock recovery is fully open and ready to flash out of the box
2.Fits in my pocket
3.IR Transmitter so you can use it as a remote control
4.Fast
10" size - Asus Transformer Prime
1.Best specs of any tablet right now
2.Convertible
3.Asus says they are committed to unlocking the bootloader
4.Fast
Good luck.
The original transformer is a good buy for the price and features you are looking for.
Asus announced a Tegra 3 7" today for 250. Seems oki paper.

I am on the fence about the Transformer. Someone I know has the original in great condition for only $300. I'm sure he is going to use the money to get the Prime. I'm wondering if its a good buy at this point or should I spend the extra two bills and get the Prime myself.
Any suggestions??
Good point
i have a HTC flyer and I'm very happy with it.
I was browsing and came across this tablet:
http://mobile.theverge.com/2012/5/3/2995878/wikipad-3d-gaikai-cloud-gaming-announcement
It will have a quad core tegra 3 processor and ship with Android 4 and retail at a mere $250 with the gamepad. What I'm wondering is, could this be better than the prime, for like half the price? It does look quite promising and you can switch from 2d to 3d anytime, on any app.
I was set to get the transformer 300 but may this be superior?
Thoughts?

The article doesn't mention that it will be $250. But it would be pretty cool is some third party manufacturer made something like this for the transformer prime.
If you view other articles, then I'm sure the price is meant to be $250. Unless they've changed their plans...

bump as I kinda need guidance on what to do, wait for this, or get the transformer?

if you wait for the best thing there will always be something better just around the corner.
from what i read its a smaller screen and might not even be touchscreen, i dont know i didnt spend a lot of time reading about it... basically its a cheap android tablet that supports 3d and has a custom built gamepad dock.
The prime or 300 are more like premium built tablets that support a hell of a lot more than that gamepad, bigger screen, and a full keyboard dock, however slightly more expensive.
My quesitons for you are this:
Do you need a tablet right away
Will you be using it for games, videos, music, internet, etc.
Will a keyboard dock be benifitial to you
how often will you use the gamepad
will using a bluetooth controller (like a PS3 Controller) be an acceptable alternative
Basically, weigh out each benifit and downfall of each tablet and based on your own use determine which is the best fit for you. None of us can tell you which will be the best decision for you.

Anyone find one that works yet?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Samsung sells an official 11pin one for $40 and they also sell an adapter for $10 so you can use your old mhl cable and it will work and be cheaper.

I contacted Monoprice, and they're also working on one. The old one is $10 so the new one should be from $10-15 hopefully.
Unfortunately there's only currently two options:
1. Suck it up and purchase the OFFICIAL Samsung branded adapter (at least $40)
2. Purchase/Use previous gen adapter (5-pin) and purchase a 5 to 11 pin adapter (at least $10)
I think I'll hold out for whatever monoprice's offering will be.
I have a TF101 and my fiance steals it all the time to mess around or play games like angry birds, or around as equally demanding. I'm trying to find her a decent tablet running Android 4.0 (ICS) that I can afford on a $20 spare a week budget. The one she likes the looks of but I am unsure of any quality is this one on eBay. I planned to buy it under PayPals bill me later policy. Any opinions on that with PayPal?

Yes it does. She doesn't like the UI design of it though. She also made me promise I won't do any Modding to what I find lol.

The problem with those unbranded tablets on ebay, etc is that you'll likely get no support after buying it. Meaning you won't see any Android updates, you don't really have any kind of warranty and there won't be much dev support out there. If you can afford it something like the Nexus 7 will be better long term as it will likely see the next few versions of Android without you needing to flash any ROMs. Those ebay tablets will be on ICS forever, which is already one version old. But the Nexus is quite a bit more than the cheap tablets so if you are fine with the limitations due to your budget get the cheaper one.
I don't think there is even a brand name tablet that I can afford. Problem is I only make $90 a week and $70 is used to get what we need and pay on my truck. I only have $20 spare generally so I'd need something I can get cheap on bill me later.
