Hi, can anyone tell me which rom is compatible with both stock and nAa kernel? I wanted to revert back to android 2.1
Sent from my E10i using XDA
revert back to stock 2.1? try use SEUS, it will detect you'll have updated software and you choose install.
There's only an exit button on seus

last day i use SEUS to revert my x10mp,there's exit and install button. but somewhere in xda they say there's also repair button. did you enter the flash mode correctly?
If you put your phone in flashmode then SEUS will let you do a "repair". To do that, turn off the phone, hold the back key then without releasing connect the USB, keep holding the back key. SEUS will notice the phone and ask if you want to repair it.

Can't there is just an exit button, is it because of face problem?

I don't think it exists a stock rom that could run with Nan kernel. You have to use SEUS as written previously. Pay attention to the led light it should be steady green when you start in flash mode (back button pressed insert the USB cable) it should recognize your device as E10i than choose repair.

thanks, but it still not work :/
Do you have xrecovery instaled on your device?
If you have try to push the down volume button wenn the device startet,
Sent from my X10 using XDA App
What do you mean? Recovery Mode xrecovery or Flash Mode. What are you planning? If nothing helps then you'll have to reflash your phone.

USB port in x10i doesn't work, i have installed xrecovery, but x10i show only "sony ericsson" and nothing else...
Try to enter on xrecovery ,you must your device to turn on,and when sony ericsson appears just tap volume down button until you came in xrecovery,
Sent from my X10 using XDA App
Why volume down button?
Doesn't work :/
It's not important which key you press. Except the "middle" key. If you even can't enter the xrecovery menu then you probably have to reflash your phone.

OK,
Have you got SEUS?
If not google it and download it.
Once you have done that send me a PM
Been through this pickle too, dont worry, go in dev forum search your generic rom, and flashtool and follow the instructions to flash the generic rom, ps, in xrecovery dont forget to make a backup of ur generic rom, saves a lot of time when things like this happen

Do you have recovery installed?
If so, when you see the sony ericsson screen keep hitting the back key (The one on the right on the front)
That will put you into recovery
If not download flashtool from here
and install it on your pc..
attach phone and you will see it connect.
Click root
then ask root permissions
then xrecovery
PS, in SEUS are you holding down the back button...
Turn the phone off (Pull the battery out if you have to and put it back in)
then hold down back button when SEUS says so

If your phone doesnt work after flashing with SEUS then I think your phone is broken.
SEUS a clean install of the latest SE software so it should work.
Did you choose to do an update or a factory reset and update.
Try again in PC Companion and choose factory reset and update.

i dnt knw wt to do. please help ppl.
P.S im a noob
You were trying to use the 2.3 baseband on a non-2.3 rom. That's why it kept rebooting.
To fix it, just keep trying flashtool, PC Companion, or SEUS.

Sorry if I sound patronizing or rude or anything, but have you used flashtool before? You open it up, hit flash, choose your firmware, hit ok, when a box comes up about connecting in flash mode, you plug the phone whilst holding the back button. It should start flashing automatically.
With regards to the phone going into flash mode (green led) whenever you plug it in, mine used to do that until I flashed gingerbread on it. Its normal I think, but you should still hit back if you want to get into flash mode.

Please follow the guide that is given. Just like normal flashing, the phone must be off (or you can take out your battery to make sure it's off). Before you plug the USB, hold back button and insert the USB on phone. Release oback button after flashtool detect your device.

what can i do ?
no any other way to install new kernel for add Xrecovery with FlashTool ?
My Status:
1.My phone hang on Sony Ericsson logo
2.My phone cant enter in Xrecovery mode.
3.I cant install new kernel with Flashtool bcoz debugging mode is off.
I had the same problem. I made a thread about it and the solution is on the second page. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340161
Basically you got a boot loop and will need to flash a new stock rom and root it again and then put your custom roms if you want.
The solution goes until unlocking a bootloader. If you don't need this, don't do it.

No... Just turn off your phone and take out the battery and unplug the USB.
Now hold the back button and put the battery in, it will boot in recovery mode, the green led on the top will light up.
Here you need to plug in the USB quick and flash the stock rom with the flashtool (I suggest having it already selected and the mouse on the button FLASH for quicker use, because the phone does not stay in recovery mode for long, at least mine didnt,)
