[Q]Changing the UA String on Google Browser

Hi so I'm having some trouble changing the UA string on the default google browser on my atrix. I'm trying to change the webpage view to the desktop view. I open the browser and go to a webpage that is displaying the mobile format. I enter "about:debug" and click go and that allows me to access the extended settings where I find the UA string. I change it to Desktop and click the home button. I open up the browser again and still the webpage is in its mobile version. It's pretty frustrating and I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I prefer to view the webpages in its original format instead of the mobile. I know other browsers such as Dolphin allow for this but I want to take advantage of the new Google Instant preview and those browsers don't allow that. Can someone help me out here I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Q: User Agent Switching to IE

I know that using the about:debug will let me change the user agent to desktop however I work with some websites that require IE. Is there a way to fake the browser ID?

[Q] Saving Web Page HTML

Dolphin HD can save a web page as an HTML file, but it asks for the filename and supplies a poor default such as "index.html". I wish the default file name could be the title of the web page.
Are there any other browsers that can save a web page as HTML? I do not find this ability in the standard browser, FireFox, Skyfire, or Opera Mobile (unless I overlooked something). Opera Mobile does provide a save, but its in a proprietary format, not what I am looking for.
Thanks

Hi,
I believe many apps like browsers have their own user agent strings. Is this correct and if so is their an app that can detect the user app of apps.?
