Hello guys, im a user of the P500 android cellphone. Mine is provided by Entel PCS phone company (in chile).
I want to know how to remove the provider "boot animation", i have installed the Nexus One animation successfully (in /data/local ), but these animation is played after the provider animation.
In other words, when turned on my cell phone the LG logo appears, then the animation of my provider and then the animation of the Nexus One. But i want to supress the provider animation and i dont know where find it for delete it ( /system/media is clear by default, nothing is inside).
someone can help me with this?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Francisco Ch.
What a great forum!, apparently no one want to answers the "silly questions" ..
I would be wrong.
only another chilean can answer this, cuz it seems to have this prob.
flash it to unbranded version firmware
Thanks a lot for your reply and help rhapsodixx.
I have downloaded the firmware for my cell provider (http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP500H/AENTBK/V10A_00/V10A_00.kdz).
this FW brings animation and original logos from my cell provider?...where can i find the "unbranded" version? because if i use the method of the SN of my P500h, i get the "AENTBK" version of the V10a Android..
If i use the webpage (http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/ezlooks_model_list.jsp?model=LGP500), i can see that in my country (chile) only exist the "provider" FW, ie: non unbranded , is that possible?
Thanks for your answer, i really appreciate it

Try updating recovery, or better use the recommended recovery for the Rom you want to flash...

Can anyone help with my data service problem?
Hi,
I have my Desire X with a sense Revolution R3 ROM, when I rooted and change the ROM, I forget to save a copy of my ROM. Exactly the phone is from Vodafone Operator.
So today I set free the phone, I pay to set free it by IMEI. I receive the code to set free by IMEI, so when I put the SIM of another operator, I get a message to unlock (my PIN, thats ok), but when it have to appear the IMEI unlocking box, the phone restarts!!!
I read that, this was beacuse of using a custom ROM, but what can I do if I don´t have my operator stock? Or there is already VDF Original ROM?
Or can I have a solution installing the stock Rom of HTC (without operator)?
I need your help please, my phone now was like a stone!
Hi again jejeje
I have a solution, I instal the HTC stock ROM and know I can set free the phone. THANKS!!
now I will go back again to REVOLUTION
Hi Txispass
I read you are from VODAFONE.
Mi problem is I´ve lost the backup from the original ROM. Could you share the backup?
Thanks
is possible to make a backup program that controls the phone SIM to install another rom the same device? I think android is the CSC but can not find information about how.
It has happened to me with the custom rom barias I've ever asks me the lock code of the operator, not be interested in me release the only mobile operator to maintain the use would be nice
