Hey.
I flashed my Galaxy Ace with Stock ROM Gingerbread 2.3.6
wipe cache and restore factory settings.
Went into the Play Store and updated all my apps.
Then I rooted my Galaxy Ace with AceGingerRoot.zip and rebooted.
After rebooting I went into the Play Store to update Superuser and coudn't update it.
Tried to update google Maps, coudn't update it either the error said "Error: Your order is processing, your item will be available in a few minutes."
What can I do, what should I do?

Hello,
Every time I try to open my Market I get the following. "Your client is out-of-date. It will be automatically updated shortly". I waited for about 3 hours and still the same issue. I have done a factory reset using recovery and still the same issue! Is anyone having this issue?
Thanks!!!

Nit having the issue but go to settings, applications, market and clear data. Then try to open the market.

Thanks for the reply ATT Intruder! Unfortunately I have already tried that and I am still having the issue. I guess I should have noted that on my original post. This issue is quite annoying!
Download the newest market apk from the net. Google for market 3.4.4 apk and enable untrusted items in settings/applications and install it.
Or update your AT&T device with latest ruu and try.
Hope it helps.

Hey Feherhollo,
Thanks for the tip. I tried to downloaded the 3.4.4 apk file but it kept crashing my device even after I cleared data and cache. I ended up having to restore from a cwm recovery backup I did couple of days ago and the martket works.
Cheers!
3.4.4 is not designed for this device
you cannot even search

Try going into settings > manage applications > click playstore under 'all' > clear data > reboot
Itll strip all updates and put it back to market before again making you update it to play store. Then you should be good to go.
Nope tryed that. And i made a new gmail account thinking it was tied to the account with no luck. In the last 4 days i have soft wiped about 6 times.

Hello.
My friend has an i9300 with stock 4.1.2 firmware.
Today he told me his Play store didn't work. When he tried to download an app, after he pushed on the download button, the play store app just restarted itself and went back to the main screen, so it was not possible to download anything.
I went into the app info of the play store, and deleted all data and cache data, without success. The version was 3.10.10 and there was an "uninstall updates" option, so I thought it might be some broken update that caused the problem, so I tried to uninstall updates. Then the version went back to 3.9.16, and since then the app won't even start (crash to home screen).
Is there any way to reinstall the play store? or do I need to flash a new ROM?
Since I am a total noob when it comes to that particular device, please bear with me. Thanks.

hi, by stock I meant the original firmware that came with the phone, it is not rooted. Is it possible to do the same with the original samsung firmware? and if it is, will I need to root and install recovery?
No...you dont need to root or install recovery to flash the stock rom over the current rom

I flashed the Jelly Bean Alliance ROM with the AJK 4.8 Micswap kernel. Everything booted fine, but when I go to play store, it is the old version and I can not download or update any apps. I keep getting the same error of "Error downloading 'app' ". Does anyone have the fix for the error downloading apps and old version of play store? Thanks.

The app should automatically update after a while. For the error, try deleting your account in the system menu and re-entering your info; that almost always corrects the problem.
And since you're on Alliance, remember not to flash any of the kernels in the OTA section, they're for the 9100 only.
Hope this helps.

Alright, I'm going to try reflashing and trying that tonight. What do you mean OTA section? I use AJK, its always worked and been reliable for me.

You don't have to reflash. Try deleting your account first, clear cache from the store then re-enter your account info. The play store should then update automatically.
Alliance has an OTA section in Rom Customizer, for themes and mods, etc. Some work for us, but the kernels are built for the 9100 so stay away from those.

when you flash something new rom on your phone, the play store takes some time to start the download i mean at least like 5 minutes or may be more sometimes. happened to me. it later starts normally. just wait for it
