I find out that my Xperia S's screen is way too warm. Is there any screen color calibrator that support Xperia S? In play store, I only found an app that just put a filter to the top of the screen which is not I want.
Thank you in advance.

That ^^
Seriously though, android has no color management whatsoever. So that's the only way it is, just make sure it's not yellow tint.
@Scratchling Beautiful is all about taste though^^
@K900 Thank you. Maybe I have to get used to it.

Hi. I live in Russia. I have SHS black. In a camera not the correct balance of the white. Photos turn out with a pink shade. There is a decision? Whether it is possible to stitch the chamber?

You ain't seen SAMOLED on the SGS2.
I have and IMHO that is what Sony have tried to emulate, the screen on my Moto Defy is pretty neutral but on the SXS the greens and reds rip your eyes out

Excuse me but I am also a photographer and till now this device has the best color reproduction across the market.
It has little warm tint depending on the viewing angle.

If u prefer the defy screen then maybe *not being rude* you should probably go for eye checkup!! Because in this day and age of good screens the defy is just awful my friend has one and its totally washed out!! Xperia s has the second best screen to slcd 2 of HTC!! That's what is natural!! But its xperia screen is good if u don't compare it!!

Well he ain't wrong at all. The Xperia s screen is indeed slightly over saturated in a way only OLED screens are. But of course compared to SAMOLED screens like Galaxy handsets, the XS screen is more natural.

The S2 is meant to have a silver/chrome surround on the home button, if yours doesn't it's a manufacturing fault and you should consider returning your device. Even if it doesn't bother you, it'll wreck the resale value when the time comes.
Mine doesn't have the chromed finish either. I really prefer it this way!

It's the same colour as the outer frame so gunmetal too. I guess it looks a little shiner in the photo.
Same here, my home button surround and the trim round the face are both a Smokey dark grey rather than a bright chrome. First day purchase from phones4u uk...

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone can make a Rom with ICS (with all the tweaks and goodies) and have a Black/Brown/Gold theme to it? I attached a picture off an iphone when you invert the colors, you get that color scheme and it looks nice. Also anyway for someone to make it so that for example if you have a wallpaper widget on your desktop, it could have like a live video clip playing on the widget in the backround as if it were a small sample clip of the latest video or pics? would be neat.

A few things...
It does look pretty good.
With LCD screens, blacks are the most battery hungry to display, so dark themes affect battery life to some extent.
Last... not to sound like a jerk... but this is a question/request. I am not sure it is best asked in development section.
oh sorry, i didnt know where else to ask developers if they could make this lol. For me the battery isnt that big a concern, never has been really lol. I use the web a lot throughout the day and ive never had any problems running low by end of day on my rezound, even if so, i would just recharge it love that black and brown with gold, hoping someone will make it

I understood the opposite to be true. That the pixel is turned off with black, anything else required power.
And yes this could be moved to the theme and apps sub forum, no biggie though.

On any form of led screen (oled, amoled, samoled, samoled+, etc) blacks use less battery. Not sure about lcd though. And gold would really clash with the phone's hardware. It's black and red with silver accents. We an aosp black and red theme to make our phones sexy.
On these types of screens (LCD), black requires the most power because the pixel isn't actually off, its obscurring the light from the backlight, which requires more energy than displaying white. Only on old CRT type displays was black actually equal to 'off' and thus used less power. I think LED displays require no back lighting, so the same is probably true.
**oops read LCD not led, my bad
Okay, so The SuperAMOLED screen has some of the best black levels out of any display Iv'e ever seen. as nice as it would be to have PLUS, for the IPS subpixel layout, I still love this screen's display. The Note 2 will probably have this, and even better options..
But. I would love if some of you can post home screens and wallpaper images at full resolution that went with it, to show off how nice they look on the screen. Iv'e always had trouble finding amazing wallpapers :3
But yeah, I have an S-IPS $700 monitor as my main monitor at home, and even though the colors are off on the Note's screen, the black levels pretty much make up for it. This 5.3 inch screen has better detail and picture quality than my 55" Big screen TV does! :O (not better color accuracy though) Only because it's a triple LCD rear projection TV, which has WAY better colors than pretty much ANY "LED TV"
Until SuperAMOLED Plus comes out in TV's, No "LED TV" will EVER have color accuracy that Rivals my monitor, so Don't flame on that. LED TV's are a complete lie and a scam because they are garbage Twisted nematic LCD panels that are just LED backlit, when cathodes can actually be brighter ironically.
Unless they start using high intensity LED's with pure white light, I don't see LED bqaclighting being better, but yeah, post some wallpapers?
I have 900 wallpapers. Will add once in whlie.
SENT FROM ICS OBJECTION
That wallpaper looks awesome! If I didn't have ICS Tablet mode I'd use it. Just looks odd with all the blue menusand text :3 but if I had touchwiz, I'd use it
Greens are particularly vibrant on our screen because the subpixel arrangements is red, green, blue, green instead of red, green, blue, albiet the sub pixel size of green is half that of the others.
Feel free to upload those wallpapers any time

If they can sort the sharpness out a little then I'll be really happy.
The noise levels, contrast and dynamic range is good.
wow,
last photo is amazing
Thanks. Just a quick snap of some flooding near me just before sunset, which along with sunrise is the best time to be shooting landscapes. The sun is a bit overblown though.
But if you look at the edges of the photo it's not as sharp which I put down to the lens. I think we expect too much of these tiny lenses and a smaller aperture would be better for sharpness, but most camera phones have large ones. f2.0 on the 920 and f2.2 on others.
All I wish for is spot focus on the Nokia 920.
Really nice picture

Mine have been slightly color-adjustedin Nokia Creative Studios. Facebook compressed some of my images. In original shots, I'm not too worried about the sharpness.
I've been incredibly impressed with it, especially in low light, I can't get over how well the photos come out.
Used the flash once, ever since have kept it off!
Here's my shot:
https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=18ba2af3d9fec455&id=18BA2AF3D9FEC455%21610&sff=1
Best mobile camera I have experienced so far.
Alright, a few more shots. As usual, the only editing is from Nokia Creative Studios. All are pre-Portico except for the pizza and the water tank.
Played around with some settings. Higher exposure (2/3) is really good for food shots!
I noticed sharpness was better on computer than on screen... I really don't complain about sharpness, and video is really awesome. I love this phone (but not going to marry it)

amazing clarity indoor shots.
gonna try playing around with my camera..was in the CBD yesterday and was hesitant to take pics as i didnt believe any phone camera could capture city at night beautifully.
I always felt my 3s prime's display was unnecessarily yellowish. Today I came to know that Xiaomi uses 2 different kinds (from different manufacturers) of displays,
1. Tianma
2. EBBG
I read some threads and saw a youtube video and I came to know that Tianma displays are actually much better. They have higher color range and don't have that yellowish tint as in EBBG displays.
Unfortunately, I have an EBBG display.
How to check - Go to about phone and tap kernel version 7 times. It will open engineering mode. Tap on "Device view"
I have attached a pic in which left phone has a Tianma & right phone has an EBBG display.
What is your opinion on this issue?

Just because they have developers from all over the world. But Redmi 3s is sold only in India, China and few other countries and hence we lack the number of developers. Even I thought the same at the first place.
