[Q] CM7 & ICS Screen Boot Glitche

Hello all, i just rooted my nook tablet (8gb) and flashed cm7 and ics nightly and both are giving me a wierd boot glitche, it dosent freeze on boot but it hangs up and the screen jumps all over the place, so if anyone can help that would be great!

Maybe re-flashing the ROM could help? Did this start after you did something on your Nook?
I don't believe you can flash CM7 to the 8GB Nook. It has to run from SD.
Also did you build the nightly into a ROM?
Bill
This started when I flashed cm7, now cm9 does it, It lags like that and stays there
I downloaded Cm9 0.0.4

Thanks for that link and info, I tried it and still dissent work, I think my tablet is bricked (not because of Cm9) I made a backup and I flashed it back and it just sits at the N screen, I try cm7 and that only works when the tablet is plugged to the computer...I'm having bad luck with this

if your partitions are still okay... i would flash ( all the way back... ) to stock as a beginning point.
to be honest, i think my tablet is semi bricked. It will run cm7 on sd only when a usb or charger is pluged in, i trie restoring my stock backup in cwm and nothing happens...like its bricked

[Q] Help please. Installed ICS and rooted GB Kernal

I installed the ICS update I wasn't rooted, but I tried to root it with Odin, and I cannot get past the SAMSUNG logo.
I know that I installed a GB rom on an ICS kernal, I just would love some help on fixing it.

Did you tried making a factory reset (data wipe) from the recovery?
yes reset ยจ+ catch and the ohter one in advance
Make sure you flash the right kernel.. if your rom is based on JB, then flash a JB kernel. Otherwise, you will be stuck on bootloop (as in what situation you are in now(

im not in bootloop.. i can boot to the phone and use apps and that but its rebooting by its self after some mins
hey
You have to flash another kernel. Mine did the same.
Im also fron DK, and I assume you have the I9300 intl?
If your current ROM is a JB, then try flashing siyah kernel.
Works fine with mine
i got it to work but dont know how lol..
Oh. I thought you were on bootloop since you stated that you couldnt go past the samsung logo. Lol. Good to hear you got it sorted out

Did you see chainfire 3D is only for Android Froyo and Gingerbread? Maybe wrong OS (ICS/JB). Wchich OS you have? Maybe thats the problem.
As previous poster said, there is a HUGE notification near the dwnload and in play store about it not being compatible with anything above 2.3.x
It will work -mostly- in Ics though but jellybean it's completely broken and will not be fixed.

my phone was rooted before i tried this and i had to unlock with galaxsim if that makes any difference
Hey mate.
No it's not bricked.
Since you said you are able to boot your phone into recovery then Your phone is fully safe.
Now just flash philz kernel for your phone (corresponding to your build number)
Flash it and then download any 4.1.2 based ROM and install it following the guide
Let me know if u need any help

i wish i could just find out wich is the fastest kernal for gaming on sgs2, ive installed gta san andreas, the dark knight rises, and something trigger 2, they all run pretty good, actualy not tried gta yet, oh and deus ex the fall, wich seems really good, i love that they havnt made comprimises like they usualy do, i like mobile games to be as good at least story wise as consoles
