Hi everybody,
there are a number of different radio and firmware flash images for rooted phones. Are more recent or newer images better or more optimized per se, or do you recommend a specific, older version?

It's well known that these two versions are different by antenna frequency. i wonder if this is a hardware difference or just some software limitation.
If it's only different by software, why you do a full flash of a Telstra rom on ATT phone cannot solve the problem?
In all cases, no matter whether it's hw or sw difference, can i still flash a french SBF to an AT&T atrix followed by flashing the stock radio file?
just wondering ...
E.g. in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304422 the following version numbers are given:
Version Radio: 5.71.09.02А_22.51.50.21U
Version firmware: 2250.21.50104.401
On my device which got Mango through the official channels (and is registry unbranded), I have smaller version (something with 5.69... and 2250.20... I think)
So, my question is, what are the versions I SHOULD have after the official Mango update, and do you think I'll get some OEM update?
Because currently I have some issues like worse WiFi signal compared to NoDo and sometimes the screen doesn't react)
Hello guys!
I have flashed a latest radio .24, but i do not remember , which one is was my stock version, before i've flashed the new one (T-Mobile USA). Maybe this one Radio_4A.14.3250.15_1.27.531.7 ?
Btw, do you like a new radio version? Maybe you have noticed some improvements compared with the stock one?
I haven't updated my phone in over 7 months. Baseband version 1.00.20.0913_3, which appears to be old. I see warnings on installing new firmware without flashing intermediate versions. I'm using custom ROM stock with Goodies 2.10.
How do I get my phone up-to-date on firmware and using a newer custom ROM without brickage?
I have a Tab S3 WiFi only LDU, still running Android 7.0.
Can it be reliably flashed to the latest firmware?
If so, how do I figure out which version I need? As it's an LDU, it has no carrier version to pick. Should I just opt for the regional one?
Is the newest firmware substantially better than the original one?
