There is nothing you can do than take it to service.
One last thing maybe put it on charge and leave it for 2-3 hours.

the bad thing is i unlocked the bootloader & void my warranty...
i will try that...

I was on stock 73 firmware but the ftf file that i used was 62...
can it be the cause?some sort of downgrade....

Just try and send it in if the above doesn't work. when you unlocked your bootloader your warranty isn't voided right off the bat...its a common misunderstanding, it only says 'may' not 'will'. Many people have sent in their phones already with unlocked Bootloaders for issues, the may is there just so they aren't liable if you fry it by your own doing.
If the cause of your dead device was from overclocking more than it can handle, it probably is indeed voided. If not, it won't hurt to give it a try .
Good luck and I hope they can fix your problem

[Q] Dead Active

Hey, everyone.
I'm trying to fix my brother's Active and not having much luck. I've been doing intermediate level android stuff since the HD2, so I'm not quite a rookie at troubleshooting. He said that he was at school, checked his texts, then the screen went out. So, that's where I'm at. I can't even really tell if it's a software error or a hardware error. The phone turns on, vibrates and the LED lights and that's about it.
Thanks for any help
Looks like it's bricked... but I'm not expert enough to say that for sure.

If you had unlocked bootloader: Flashtool
If you had locked bootloader: Update Service and try repairing the firmware.
Both ways, you lose your data.
try to repair it via SEUS or pc companion or otherwise send it in to repair

See my tutorial to root (Check Signature). There in the first step, you will learn how to flash a ROM using flashtool. Choose and firmware of your choice, and taking help of the tutorial flash it using flashtool.
For another tutorial you can check someguyfromhell's sticky at this forum.
Thanks,

No, thankfully I didn't make THAT mistake, or my previous post probably would have been my last ever. I charged it and, unfortunately, am back to square one. Same as the original problem
I have some experience with active.
Can you tell me more specific.
1.About the problem
2.modding history of the phone.(like root or unlock bootloadet)

The phone does absolutely nothing except vibrate a tiny bit when you turn it on. So the most frustrating part, to me, is I can't really tell if it's a hardware error or software. I'm leaning toward software because even after I let it boot for a long time, I can't get the screen or any of the buttons to cause a vibration. BUT I also don't know if my brother had it set to vibrate on the lock screen like I always do.
From messing around with Flashtool I found out the bootloader is unlocked, but nothing custom has been done to it.

Okay, let says the screen got problem.the screen just have blank display right?
Try to put a sim card that doesn't have security pin when turn on.
After turn on wait for a few minutes and the try to call it.if the phone rings.the display surely defective.

Hmm I think you can open your phone (DON'T DO IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH HARDWARE) and take the LCD screen and take it to nearest service shop to check whether it's working or not...and other possibility that your phone screen cannot be turn on is the screen power might got shot and burnt (like black out in a house, the power supply is shot )

Dead Xperia s

Hope someone can help. My Xperia a was working fine, I noticed when checking for updates that android 4 was available.
I downloaded it the phone then said powering off. It never rebooted. I have tried all the usual things like holding power buttons and volume buttons but it is dead. The pc doesn't recognise it. Is there anyway I can recover it using tools from here.
Sorry I meant Xperia s

I don't know about the Xperia S, but when that happened with my Sammy I had to charge the phone for like 6 or 8 hours and then try to get in to the recovery screens.
xperia dead
with my also it had happened so I used the flashtools, then took the battery cover, released the last three screws recoloquei removed the battery and then connected the usb with the volume knob tightened up and he recognized at the time only give flash rom the tft and finally managed to recover. ufff.

Continuous reboot. Can it be repaired?

Hi,
My i9300 died one week ago. It suddenly started to reboot. I removed the battery, I tried another. But the moment I plug the battery, the reboots start. The phone shows the "Samsung SIII" initial logo and it restarts. If I try to enter download mode or recovery, it restarts too.
I have searched everywhere, every forum, but I have not found anyone with this problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
is your power button stuck? try adjusting it carefully make sure not to have it pressed.
Sounds like the internal memory is screwed. You say you cant get into download mode?
When it died where you trying to install a custom rom?

It should be repaired under warranty unless you have done something to void warranty.

Leave the phone without battery for a while and press and hold the power button without battery for 60 sec then leave the phone again for a min or two then insert the battery and try to get into flash mode. If it isnt a hard brick then it'll definitely boot up make sure to keep the flashing stuff ready

[Q] Samsung logo appears on the screen and the phone locks up

Hi
Samsung galaxy s3 GT-i9300 did an auto update and a few hours later the phone shut down and would not restart. When you attempt to restart the Samsung logo appears on the screen and the phone locks up until you either hold down the power button which causes it to reboot and again lock up when the samsung logo appears or remove battery.
Have tried a hard reset by holding the vol home and power buttons but it won’t reset. The only thing it will do is go in to flash custom rom mode.
Has this happened to any of you guys?
Has anyone got any idea what I could do??
P.s the phone is a standard uk sim free phone and it has not been poked with.... no custom roms no root…
Thanks

Hi
i've been through the stickies a few times and if something was relevant to me i either missed it or I didn't understand it.
As i can't get into hard reset by pressing vol up plus home plus power am i right to say i also can't get into the recovery.
i was hoping when that chap mentioned recovery there was a different method of getting there.
the phone is able to only go in to one mode... pressing volume down plus home plus power gets into a os downloading mode.
I tried to use kies with this mode but it doesn't seem to see the phone when connected to usb (pc beeps when phone is plugged in it installs something drivers I think) I was hopping to use recovery firmware in kies..
Any ideas
Thanks

I think the phone comes with 24 month manufacturers warranty in Europe. I need to send mine in too (SDS) and waiting for the "jiffy bag". Odd for all they would know I changed my cover with a broken one, but yeah i can see em getting a hook on every little thing.
Edit: I forgot to mention I have a half SDS where I can get into download mode but the product name is blank and the status Custom. Strangely though I cannot always get into download mode It is quite random, sometimes it lets me most of the time it doesn't.

All they wanted was the phone.

This is what they sent me "Please ensure that you only send the device itself with the battery, remove all SIM cards/microSD cards and back up any important files." Nothing about the cover but battery seems to be important. The phone cant turn on and I even told them that so I dunno how I'm supposed to back up important files.
