Hey GUYS please HELP ME
I have followed the Guide to root the xperia x10 in this forrum. So here is what happened. After completing step 3, it all went fine but then the thread says I have to install the Market fix for X10i users. After done that, my phone restart and it won't let me to go inside. It has a weird picture.
Anyway, can you guys please tell me to unroot or whatever to gain the access to the phone again? I tried the phone repair from PC suit to flash the x10 but it doesn't work anymore.

Reflash your phone using the flash unbrick tool and redo rooting steps
Just re-root from step 1 and your fone will be fine.
The PC com cannot work anymore cuz your region does not support FW update higher than 023. If you finish step 2, your fone FW ver is 023 already.
NO it's not that Simple. If I was able to flash back my device then I wouldn't post this thread. Please look at my pictures that were attached. In the CMD window, it says Unable to open channel, Getlasterror= 0"
I think there is no way to get inside the phone ....

Why you just not simply use the Forum search ? That error has been described numerous Times. Also the Solution has been posted many , many Times.
1st i had the problem..but the 2nd time i did all fine,u hv to reflash the 1st root..and do it again..try.

Why Can't u stop all the useless posts? If I was able to find them then I wouldn't post this thread here. Im sure that U just say that but in fact u don't know anything mate
Please re-check your device ID and make sure its right in your DeviceID.txt file. If it is wrong then you will get a device not found error. Remember it will change everytime you change USB slots.
Check your Device Id if you have more than one!LOL Fate was faster!
Have you tried it with Omnius?
THE PROBLEM IS NOT FROM ANY OF THAT... AFTER RESTARTING MY PC and UNINSTALL THE PC COM and PC SUITE... IT WORKS !!!

mine is going back to 023 now...the solution is i rooted my phone on my other computer and the device id is completely different when i first rooted my phone on my other computer.....thanks for the help mates....

just wanted to let you know it turned me onto a path that helped me get my " Stuck on Sony Ericsson" screen: i work with Linux and i had to use PC compnion to restore the phone which worked!!!!!!!! now reinstalling another custom rom.........the Dark Edition HD is the one that (nearly) bricked mine so , no, not that one

Just a Question to increase my knowledge. Why do people use that old methods to root x10's ? Why not use simple ON CLICK in app called Flashtool ? I've used that method many times and it's fastest, safest possible way to root, flash ROM's etc ? am I missing something ?

For that screen, I'd recommend either using seus to repair your phone first, then if that didn't work, try downloading the flash tool and DoomLord's prerooted recovery image or stock firmware in the. Ftf file type and flashing those via flash tool. That should help somewhat but if you can't get anything after that then take it back to the store. the moment you can get it to boot to the kernel screen, you're fine since you can just wipe and install a new ROM. i flashed a stock SE 2.1 generic ...and changed the BB to 52 ton install CM7 ...but after i shutted down the phone i wouldnt boot and when i try to flash a Stock SE or try to change the BB it always give me error flashing ...aborted no matter what the file is ...i ve searched in all post but i didnt find any answer ...please some help
Edit: there is a guy here in morocco who fixed the probleme by changing battery and flashing a stock rom ...i will ask him to show me how he did ( if he say ok) ...sinse i used every software and flashtool i found in internet whithout success
Did you try flashing a ROM thru SEUS? It will overwrite whatever you have on there

idk i try flashtool whenever i mess up my phone, try redownloading the drivers on your computer and flash the SE firmware with the latest flashtool
i did try ... i unistall the updater and instal it again ...it reconize the phone but programme is frozen is it normal to freeze?
well flashtool should take around 10 mins and less

i just install it and when i plug the phone it reconize it ... but when i try to repair it it just give me an error it said cant download

I´ve a problem, my usb port not working, so can´t charge ou even connect to pc.
EDIT: I´ve tryed with different usb cord ou usb chargers, same problem: can´t charge or connect to (any) pc. The problem is in usb phone.
Solution: go to SE support, Problem: X10 Mini Pro rooted and with modified rom.
So is that possible to flash an original rom (Vodafone Portugal) but using only the sdcard and xrecovery? Here i can get the original rom?

You actually have no problem. Just buy a new USB cord.
I´ve used many diferent charges or usb cords, the problem is in usb phone, so i can´t connect to any pc or charge the batery That´s why i wan´t to downgrade so i could send phone to SE.
Don't tell them, that your phone is rooted and bring them power offed phone.

it would still be the same. SE people needs to turn on phone to try to connect the phone. they would know if the phone has custom ROM.

- Find a thread at x10 mp section for you to download the back up file for the stock ROM. I have back up for stock ROM but it is impossible for me to upload it. Sorry.
-Just download the back up file and put it in your SD cards folder which would be "clockworkmod" or "xrecovery".
-Run the recovery in your phone and restore the downloaded back up file.
-After doing so, you should have the stock ROM back.
-There you can FOOL the SE people
Hey, you can give them phone, and they will fix it. Why are you afraid giving them phone with custom rom? They will fix your phone and you'll have to pay for it. Rooting your phone only disables your guaranty for the phone. That means you'll have to pay for their help.
SEUS says new software already installed
When I connect my e10i to SEUS for flashing back to stock rom its says new software alrready installed. this is happening after unlocking the bootloader and flashing nAa-08 kernel to the phone. PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!

I only want to do that, cause the phone still has guaranty...and so i don´t to pay them, that´s why. If the warranty has finished, we weren´t having these topic, at least by me

It seems my X10 mini pro is completely bricked.
Firstly I root my phone
after that I copied the xrecovery and made a restart, till then everything was rolling smoothly.
I backed up and reseted to factory settings. loaded the new update.zip and after the restart that was needed my phone briked
it's not a common brick. I can't use flashtools to recover it.
here is the problem that appears...

Dont forget to pull of your battery for 4 seconds, for turn off your phone before connect your phone.

Press home and power buttons together, it will restart the phone, then start pressing the back-button repeatedly to get back into recovery and restore your previous rom from there. (Come to think of it, following my last paragraph below, you probably don't have recovery on your phone anymore, so, as Rempty mentioned above, repairing with SEUS or PC Companion would be the start to recover your phone to a usable state,.)
The error flashtool gave you is because you didn't unlock the bootloader and didn't change the kernel on your phone. It can't flash any non-sony kernel on a locked bootloader.
What is this 'update.zip' you're talking about? Most full roms have more informational names to distinguish between different zips. An update.zip is usually only for hotfixes to ROMS already flashed, and not a complete ROM.

SE logo?? You forgot to install nAa kernel, do you unlock bootloader??, remember that minicm9 is not for stock kernel.

Plz help me.. I try to unlock the boot loader .. and the phone bricked !!!! what am i going to do??
i try the PC COMPANION but my phone did not detect it..
this is what i did to bring back life to my x10 mp.
Switch phone completely off then if not already running start pc companion. then this step really got to me because of the phone constantly restarting, to get pc companion to detect the phone, i pressed and held the back key down and connected the usb cable just like flashing a new kernel. pc companion then detected the phone as x10. doesnt matter. then start the update and you must do the same thing again to force update service to detect the phone and to give the option to repair. then once thats done follow the prompts through update service, it will then ask you what phone you have, choose x10 mini pro and update.its a long process but be patient and your phone will work again.

my phone is in HARD BRICKED.. my phone is dead the phone didnt charge and totally dead.. what should i do?? help me??

hi guys.....my friend gave me his xperia neo v to install custom rom .....his mobile doesnt hav root so as to root i downloaded the ftf file and when flashed through flash tool it stucked at 9 percent and then i unplug the usb as it has been stuck for half an hr......then after phone doesnt boot because i mistakenly wiped the data .....now what to do,,,,,,tell me please......my mind is presently not working at all.....please tell me what to do in brief and give me links for solutions if youare free ...thanks in advance

Remove battery and re-insert... Now hold the back button and plug-in the mobile.. Check whether the led glows or not.. If it is glowing then nothing has happened to that phone... Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678690... Download whichever .ftf file you want... Place it in the firmwares folder of the flashtool installed folder.. Then connect your phone in flashmode and flash this .ftf... It will get you back to Stock ICS.. Your mobile will be a brand new, out of the box... Start rooting process all over again... PM me for further help...
