Hi, my device info:
Baseband Version: I9100XXLPW
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-I9100XWLPD-CL524746
[email protected] #3
Build Number: IML74K.XWLPD
version 4.0.3 [samsung stock] I had a root with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719
The problem is that the GPS can't get lock \ can't fix...
Im using GPS Status and GPS Test to check it, also a gps navigator app...
with the 'status' and 'test' apps I see that the GPS find sats, but can't lock on them....
This what I tried so far:
-tried to use fasterfix, with our country location
-edited manualy the gps.conf
-had reset A-GPS state on both app, and download new A-GPS state...
what else I can do??
is this a known problem with this version [ics] on this device??
Have you had a look at this thread ?

Nope, thanks! But I didn't understand what file should I DL the google build with ssl or without the ssl?
@kilomerers4 I've tried it mate...
Anyway I've tried it...nothing helps..
It took too much time to get fixed, lock on the satellites.
Could it be a problem with AGPS_CA file? (On system/etc)
I suggest do back up and reset your phone.

I have CyanogenMod for the Aria; CM 6.1 installed. Works fine. When trying to download Skype for Android:
It says: "Not found - The requested item could not be found"
On another attempt before it said my version is not supported or so:
Menu> Settings> About phone> Software information> Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Is this right ? Shouldn´t it say 2.2 ? Did CM6.1 install ok
Yes I´m a Newbie and appreciate any help Tx
You might try re-flashing it.
Looks like you didn't install CM6 properly. It should be extremely obvious if you have it. For one, the notification bar is white instead of black.
where are you(country)?
for example Skype is not available for my country/operator i had to install it using market enabler. maybe the same thing is happening to you...
Has anyone found a fix for this other than to calibrate which doesn't work for me. I'm on 3.2..rooted with kershoots OC. Wonder what broke this feature for me.
Update: Ok so with some researched I see that kershoots or pershoots (whatever the name is) the OC kernel disables the auto rotate feature. How do I uninstall this OC kernel and switch back to the stock one?

That was only true for the old versions of the kernel which were meant for 3.1 (if you used the kernel for 3.1 on 3.2 it broke auto rotation).
I'm on 3.2 with pershoot's kernel and auto rotation works fine. Flash the latest version and it should work.
Or if you want the stock one, just flash that one, it will overwrite what you have automatically, no need to "uninstall" anything.

as nightmarebadger if your GT P-7500 have honeycomb 3.1 and your kernel is wrong you crash the autorotate function and so much.
For those who did this and want auto-rotate back and OC HoneyComb 3.2 GT P-7500.
1) download the last Kernel for this model http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2395
2) find the model you have: Example 10.1 3G, Touchwiz UX (HC 3.2 (stock); GT-P7500) download the .zip file
3) install the kernel.
and enjoy auto rotate.
HELP!! I'm a techie, but a newbie to Android and rooting and such.
I had a regular 3G Galaxy Tab 10.1, then I rooted it and put Overcome on it (this file: 001003-Overcome_10.1_Series_v2.0.0_P7500_Full.zip). Then I put this kernel on it because I read that I could overclock it to 1.4Ghz (boot-cm_2636.4_p4_ux-oc-xtra-vfpv3-d16_fp-102411.zip).
Everything was working great... except that I was having the same problem as above (the tablet wouldn't work with auto-rotate). I decided to try to fix it - I found this thread, and followed the instructions. I downloaded the Dec 11 kernel for this: 10.1 3G, Touchwiz UX (HC 3.2 (stock); GT-P7500. Then I booted into Recovery, tried to install an older version of ROM/Kernel (or something like that) thru Advanced Recovery, and then afterwards I installed this new kernel. And after all that, my device was completely wiped... but my auto-rotate STILL won't work! Can you please help!!
This is currently what I have on my device:
Model Number: GT-P7500
Baseband version: P7500DTLKG2
Kernel version: 2.6.36.4-cyanogenmod+ [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Dec 11 15:58:21 EST 2011
Build number: Overcome 10.1 Series v2.0.0 P7500JJKJ6
What am I doing wrong??
Did you change your stock rom? Overcom is a custom ROM. can you post a screencapture of your device information?

Hi I have just installed a Car Reverse camera system with LED Monitor and Bluetooth . The Hands free function works properly when there is an incoming call . But when i make an outgoing call it shows "Bluetooth Calling Out" But no sound can be heard . I can disconnect the call using the button on the Monitor . In the phone,It shows that the headset is active . I am using a convex LED monitor which can be clipped to the rear view mirror. 1) There is a fix for the camera, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1938933 just download the latest fix and flash it via tour recovery. 2) Camcorder doesn't work at all, there will be a fix soon.
3) It is a Rom's/kernel's bug (and CM9.0 too)
4) Data usage doesn't work. It's a CM9.0 bug
5) Battery usage doesn't work too. It's a CM9.0 bug
6) It's an ICS limitation. Basically, have you tried from the contacts app? (not from the dialling menu)
7) Maybe it hasn't album image. Try fetching information (downloading info) from the player
8) There is NO automatic brightness.
I recommend you to flash the Feravolt's ROM and Kernel. It is very stable and it has fixed all the bugs (except the HWA and the videorecording)
Take a look http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458001. The first one is the ROM and the last one the kernel. Choose the right kernel, the ICS kernel one.

Fera has ICS too.
Hello,
I have a problem where tethering will not work on my phone. Connected devices will not receive an IP address and will instead use a self-assign IP address (169.x.x.x). This was tested with WIFI and USB.
With WIFI tethering active, I confirmed the WIFI IP address on my phone is 192.168.43.1. On a connected device, manually setting the network settings with that as the gateway address works.
Other information:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)
Android version: 5.0.1
Kernel: 3.4.5-3943544
ROM: Prism Barebone v14.6
Bootloader: I9500XXUHOA7
Baseband: I9500XXUHOA7
Notes:
- This is the first time I tried using tethering since flashing this ROM.
- I have not receive any response to the question on the ROM's thread.
- There is one other person on the thread with a tethering problem, but is seems to be unrelated.
I noticed v15 of the ROM was released, but I'm posting this for 3 reasons:
- Mobile data is expensive here, so I cannot download the new version now.
- I don't know whether the new version will actually fix this on my phone.
- I couldn't really find any valuable information about this, so it will save someone from having to ask this in the future (if they research first).
Thanks
Ok, so I assume this is really not a common problem?
I did a clean install of Prism Barebone v15 and updated the bootloader to XXUHOB8. It is still not working.
