Got unlocked and unbranded EVO which I got yesterday
I've had two lockups first when I was updating some apps from market it did quite a few then locked on updating diversion game
Second time I went into quick settings and task manager pressed refresh and it locked
I'm using stock firmware
I've read that some US versions have the "black screen of death" as its being called but can't find out about UK version
Any.idea what is causing it ? What will stop it happening ?

I posted something about my new evo that i bought that was having these random freezes also. I ended up having to get a replacement to get it fixed.
Ah presume yours is US version as you mention 4g I might email HTC to see if still problems with UK version .there US stuff on Google re US version but not UK Thanks

hi anybody have solution for wifi htc evo 3d? after upgrade android 2.3.4 its autometically wifi not working,its just start to connect and ask out of range,plz share ur solution
Did you do a factory reset or you could go into WiFi settings and remove the connection and then try to reconnect by putting in your pass word

try this
you could try using the clockworkmod wifi hotspot, you can download off the play store (cant link because i have not done 10 posts) you can search this; ClockworkMod Tether (no root)
but it is not wireless

Try Wi-Fi tether. People tend to have better luck with it.

Already install wifi tether from market but still have the same problem

If u r running ics with WiFi tether change the device profile to generic ics, check the WiFi reload box, check mss clamping box and check the routing fix box. And change the channel to eleven. Hit thanks if it worked.
It would help if you actually described the problem you are having. But you should try flashing another rom, preferably stock, to see if it's rom related or not.
Now i'm using htc evo 3d with predatorunity rom and i already download the wifi tether app but still cant use the hospot

Again, what problem are you having? Telling is you "can't use the hotspot" doesn't tell us anything.

Actually now i'm using predatorunityrom for my htc evo 3d gsm s-on, now everthing ok but the problem is wifi hospot show error .cant use the hotspot n i dont know who to fix it

This error i get when i tried to on my wifi hospot. This happen after install predatorunity rom in my htc evo 3d gsm (s-on)

when turning on wifi, i get "error" and the wifi goes back to off,i am running jelly rooted gsm.
killing processes doesn't work, neither does restart,is there any way for me to fix this?

Sound like you are using a jelly bean rom, if you are most of them have multiple issues, read the op descriptions

I don't think theres a jellybean ROM that jas working WiFi. Check official developer site.

hi i have a htc evo 3d gsm i rooted it a while back and used some custom roms now my phone is unrooted and i have original rom but my wifi sometimes gives error or it just says Opening Wifi... and when i remove the battery and open the phone again my wifi sometimes opens normally what should i do? Someone said i should Soff my phone and do PG86.IMG but i dont have my pc till summer so is there any other way
