When does the face recognition connect to social media? I want to make sure as I tag photos and identify them with people, it isn't sending somewhere behind the scenes without me knowing.

Hi!
I'm going to a convention soon and need to add about 20 people to my cell phone.
Is there a file I can type their info into and import it into my phone without using google contacts?
if so, how do I do this?
vCards
Well i know the Evo 3d can accept .vCard contacts. if you can make a .vCard contact file then you can just import it to your Evo 3d.
I just did a quick scan through Google search and there seem to be several apps out there where you just scan the business card through the app to add all information to your contacts . I'm sure you could find some lite app unless you wanted to pay prices ranged from 6-12

They are blurry no matter what resolution pic I use.

Yes, but you aren't going to like the answer... The problem is that google takes your contact pictures and downsamples them for online storage. Then when your phone syncs back, it overwrites your original high resolution picture, with their low resolution version (I think it's only 96x96). So there are 3 work-arounds...
--Don't sync your contacts with your google account. I find this not practical, especially since it's a big part of the functionality of the phone
--Use either Google+ or Facebook to populate the pictures for you by linking the contacts. The downside is that you are limited to just users of those services...
--Manually Create a contact for each person ON THE PHONE (not a google contact). Add the high resolution photo there, and then link that one to your google contact. This is what i use for my most frequently called people, but even that's not practical for the entire address book. Also, ICS uses 256x256 resolution, which still doesn't come out 'crisp' on a phone of this resolution.
This is really a black mark for android. There has actually been an open ticket on this since 2009, with over a thousand people adding to it. It's also recently been a thread on Google + where a lead engineer said they were going to work on it, but even that fizzled out.
Haxsync will download high Res photos from Facebook. Just make sure the contact has that image selected and not the Google one.

Those are blurry as well. Then you are also missing pictures for Go SMS Pro and other 3rd party messaging apps.
Never used to be this issue for the OG Evo (running ICS).
How do I block the account holder from seeing my SMS, CALLS and etc? I can't login on his account but I don't want him seeing all my things. any apps? Please advise.
Not to sound mean, but I'm not gonna help you circumvent your Daddy's parental responsibility of monitoring you. Plus, I'm sure that any manipulation of the software will alert the account holder.

I am in the planning stages of creating a social experiment. I am trying to see if it is feasible to develop an app for android to accompany participants using the parameters below. Nothing is set in stone. More could be added as options become available. If you care to know more, just ask. If you can help, that would be a plus.
Android app parameters:
Google Maps Api for proximity alerts to allow a participants to know when a clue is near and for an on-screen visual aid.
Ability to communicate with other app holders whether through text or speech
Integration with G+ - to publicly post what they have found
Ability to track other players real time (ability to disable public player tracking.)
Ability to create a profile to be shared via NFC
Minimize the need for a server to cache information
Minimize graphics
Utilize NFC to collect necessary information at physical locations.
The ability to edit data on a bracelet with an NFC chip embedded within.
The ability to track actions and locations(only when at game designated public locations)
Not sure if I want to embed information in the app or retrieve it on a server. (Information will change on a regular basis.)
Bump. I'm just looking for any kind of feedback on direction

hi. i have understood that de-selecting face tags from camera app, removes them but how to remove face tags from already taken pics?
