i want to try the rogers and bell modems but not until i have a cwm version of the stock (wont up counter)
thanks..
i tried to download the stock firmware from sammobile.com but doesnt appear to have a modem in it.. here is the contents of the tar.
aboot.mbn
boot.img
cache.img.ext4
NON-HLOS.bin
recovery.img
rpm.mbn
sbl2.mbn
sbl3.mbn
system.ig.ext4
tz.mbn
not appear to be the same or similiar size as the bell or rogers modem.
NON-HLOS.bin is the modem.
How many times do I have to post Development is for Developers to make threads and questions go in Q&A?

i dont think that is the modem or the modem for both rogers and bell are wrong both of those are 10k and the modem in non-hlos.bin is 42k.. quite a discrepency on the others phones sgs i and sgs ii the modems were almost exactly the same in size.

Yes, but it's buggy as hell. Best to stick with GingerBread ROMs for now.
Read the forum stickies and FAQ's in the guides before doing anything, as looks like your trying to flash a 9000 ROM instead of 9100.You can flash any 9100 firmware on a T version.
Here is a place to start:
[ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares KG, KH, KI, KJ, KK1/2/5, KL1/2/3, LA2,4 Download
Whenever using Odin, make sure you NEVER use PIT etc. Follow the guides exactly etc and you won't have a problem.
When flashing firnware, you might need to flash your carrier CSC, or just enter the APN manually. Also, you probably need to flash a modem (baseband) to recive better signal/strength/stabilty/battery life etc. These are found in the modem threads. There are some Odin flashable and other to be flashed using CWM Recovery (need root);
[REF] Galaxy S 2 Shipped Modem Collection
Edit: If the links are down, find/download with The webversion of Check Fus 2.0 and or download with the Windows Program
If your using Telstra or other 850MHz carrier, look for the T modem such in my signature (for Telstra).
If your unsure, best to re-read again and again, follow guides exactly, and also the forum stickies before posting.
Please could someone post me a proper link of PIT file and Original Stock ROM for:
GT-I9300
SSN - I9300GSMH
FCC ID - A3LGTI9300A
Also tried PIT file GT-I9300_mx_20120329.pit but keeps getting stuck.
THANK YOU

Hi thanx for replying back
I have to do a pit flash because whenever I want to install even original stock rom I can't it says PIT missing
And then shows FAIL in Red box...
I also tried mx.pit
Still didn't go on...
there's no need for a pit file for flashing roms just make sure to untick the repartition option befor flashing.
Sammobile.com for PIT .
PIT is the easy noob root to bricking a phone .
jje
Did you solve the problem?
I have the same device and the same problem.
Have found a link for pit file?
And for ROM?
Best regards
Fernando from Brazil

Hello everybody. Yesterday it was released 4.1.2 ell4 base for Baltic region. I am from there, so I would like to have modem from that base. Maybe anyone know how to extract and get the modem? I have already downloaded that base. Or maybe anyone already have the modem separately? I want it because I have sometimes problems with place recognising or mobile internet connection.
extract from the tar and odin which ever modem you want.

What does it say under the battery I9300 .
Boot to I9305 means some fool has flashed the wrong firmware .
Flash stock I9300 rom .

Witch one I can use ? Becouse the ones Ive tried stop in the beginning of the process
Flash the Rom to match what is under the battery, so i9300. Plenty of people on here have done the same thing so search and read for those that managed to fix it.

Hi Guys,
I thought of creating an official Modem list for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N7505 Modems only for KitKat 4.4.2
I will be adding all the modems available in Modem.bin .
What is a modem?
Modem/Radio/Baseband is all the same thing and can be seen by going to Settings - About device - Baseband version. It's basically a driver which receives and sends Mobile Network signals as well as handling switching between GPRS, 3G, HSDPA etc....... (but not WiFi connection, that and switchover between Mobile Network and WiFi is handled by the kernel). Reasoning as to why Modem has no influence on WiFi can be found in this post by Entropy
Why?
Sometimes some custom Roms come with modems for various regions. If your modem is designed for different regions than yours then the chances are that it will sometime not work with optimal network performance.
You should look into changing your modem if you are experiencing the following :
Poor 3G speeds
Very fast battery drain whilst on 3G
Poor call reception
How to check:
Settings >> About device >> Baseband version
How to flash the Modem:
Open Odin and click on CP button the select Modem.bin file and make sure everything is unchecked just AutoReboot then press start and your device will reboot with the new Modem
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Modem List:
N7505XXUCNG2 (Middle East & Europe & South East Europe & Nordic countries)
N7505XXUCNL1 (Hungary & Romania & Portugal & Bulgaria & Slovakia & Baltic)
N7505XXUCNK1 (New Zealand )
Odin Download:
Odin3_v3.09
Odin3_v3.10.6
Correct the links setting...Now they are working
good work, I will try XSG I hope it solve my signal issue.
Thanks
N7505XXUCNK1 added & Odin Links
if someone put stock rom for example Hungary COA1 rom with CNL1 baseband version, can then put with Odin CNG2 modem driver for South East Europe. Is there any differents?

On settings---about phone---Baseband to know which modem you use,
then you can try another modem and if you want to back to the original modem just download it from here.
I have the modem firmware N7505XXUCNG2 Italian released in October.
I have problems when switching from 4g to 3g for blocks.
In your modem bin above downloadable up is possible to date than the one I use? or should try the other modem?
Then I wanted to know if I make the flash konox goes to 1?
to restore just redo flash firmware or old modem?

You should try another Modem, try this one N7505XXUCNL1
to restore just flash the old modem.
I don't think it will trip Knox because you flash something official not modify, but I'm not sure!
Also Italian ver has old kernel you can flash latest one 14jan2015 it's more smooth&good battery...
but flashing kernel will trip Knox because you will use custom recovery

clarification
with odin 3.0.9 I have to select the CP and then I have to do the flash file modem.bin or do I create a file .tar.md5 (that include only modem.bin file) and then flash?
I ask because I had found a guide where it was indicated to create a file that .tar.md5 is the same type of file that the offical firmware
thanks

No need to make tar file, just put modem.bin in CP section and make sure everything is unchecked just AutoReboot checked then flash it.

until now no block with the new modem. i'm glad.
now i have the Italian firmware with baseband relative to other fimware: N7505XXUCNL1 (Hungary & Romania & Bulgaria & Portugal & Slovakia & Baltic)
it can do any problems?
I wanted to know if you think the RIL not aligned could bring problems such as an increase in consumption of the battery?
I then noticed that receiving telephone is 'very poor. can you tell me if your samsung note 3 neo has received telephone low?
problem

For battery you must notice if there is any issue,
for signal it depends in your area and how it was before.
you must choose what the best modem for you.

I don't understand which modem you try, new zealand or Romanian?
also try another modem to see from where the problem..
just put the modem.bin in CP section and open download mode in your mobile and flash it..
don't change the name of the modem keep it ( modem.bin ) .
