Does disabling preinstalled apps like livewallpapers have any advantage?

You mean freezing/deleting, ale right?
All is dependent on application. If this is service that works in background (like pre installed social apps in lg phones) it will probably give you a bit of ram.
But there isn't big change if you disagree them... you will just have less functions in your phone.

So if I don't use for example a pre-installed wallpaper and I disable it I won't gain anything? I checked and they don't seem to use ram when not set as wallpaper

There is an option to change font size but when u exit the app or even rotate it after u change the font it will go back to normal (running 1.8.1)

There's also apps from marketplace I use. It doesn't hide the apps but it locks it and requires u to enter unlock code or pattern. The one i use is a paid app but i think there might be free ones

There's a root toolbox on the market. I think there's an feature where you can limit how many apps to run.

what is the best task manager to use?
I'm using go task manager but the problem is that it consumes a lot of RAM so it kinda slows the phone and in the same time does not kill apps efficiently, so i need a better one that kills the useless app and all that stuff
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Standard Android should do the job, no need for another app.

yeah
standart the best
Since i'm rooted on my HTC One, are applications such as system optimizers, app killers and other apps that automatically free RAM required? Would these programs increase the performance of my HTC One?
There are so many apps like these which is available on the market. It does is what actly thr taskmanager does. But smtym these apps wont. For imprvng your device you must get rid of blotwares and unwanted system apps. That will absltly incrs your system perfmnce.

You honestly shouldn't need to use any of those. You've got 1.5 gigs of ram.
