WORKS!!!
Worked fine for me. The beta installer replaced the old version that I tried to restore from my factory rom back up, that had not worked.
Thanks
^^
This. Also installed the beta which replaced my restored backup which was causing FCs & works a treat on Galnet Miui 2.1.20/Siyah 2.6.7.

Did you pay for it? You know, from the Market... er, Play Store?
It's a paid app, if you are trying to pirate it you aren't entitled to help.

Some ROMS as yours (i guess) does not have gapps (Google apps) pre-installed. And tasker needs some stuff from gapps. Go to http://goo-inside.me/gapps/ plz download the newest gapps version (zip), move to your SD card, reboot and install that zip from cwm recovery. After that you should be able to install Tasker
I just installed Revolt and noticed JB no longer had the memo app.
I tried doing a Titanium restore but it didn't work (hung).
I found a thread with a port of Memo to CM7 but it wouldn't install.
I'm fine using an alternative if someone can help me restore my old memos. Any advice?

This is the thread.... I tried installing it on ReVolt 2.3 (JellyBean) and CWM said that it could not install it, failed an assertion

I'm using Siyah 4.1.4 with JB ROM (I believe ReVolt JB is based on CM10)

1. Extract the zip
2. Copy memo.apk to /system/app on your phone using a ROOT explorer,
3. Set permission to rw-r-r
4. Reboot phone

Well, that did install it (I see the icon now - thanks). Unfortunately, the app closes immediately after opening. I also tried using Titanium to restore *just* the data portion for Memo (in case it needed it to work), but that didn't do anything.
Worst case, if I can't get it working... is there a way to look at the data I have saved in Titanium to retrieve my old memos? Assuming they're saved in plain text/viewable with a hex editor?
Memos ae stored in .db file, but recovering it may be impossible.
And if you want working Memo app, here you go:

The only way is to flash a stock based Rom, restore memo.apk data, transfer your memo to another app, backup your memo with that app, or use titanium, then flash back your present ROM, and restore your third-party memo app.

I copied this file into my system/apps die but it still crashes immediately . Could it be that this opex file is causing problems? I think it was there from before...

Well, I deleted the opex and old files, and it started working! And it has my old memos too.
Thanks for everyone's help!

hey can you tell me how you make it working with old memos ??
i have cm9 with siya 4 version and i have installed memo app...
and i have my old memos data backuped through titanium..
how to restore the old memos and make it working ??
I used titanium to restore "data only" back for memo app. Copied the above apk (few messages above) to my system/app dir, change permissions to rw-r-r and make sure there are no memo.tmp or memo.opex files. Reboot, and you should see your old memos

Restore Memo 1.0 using "signedMemo.apk"
I flashed my phone to CM 10.1 Pro a few days ago. I successfully restore all my memo installing "signedMemo.apk". Then use Titanium Backup to restore "data" only. Everything is there. What a relief. It took me days to Google it.
Many thanks atarifreak for posting the solution at Android Hilfe (Memo to restore 1.0 cyanogenmod 10)
I hope this will help many of you out there.

The app was boat browser and the go launcher gesture, but i cleared dalvik cache and now it's working, let's see for how long and if clearing cache will do...
I'll post again if the problem comes back
I flashed the v2.0 Xgamer rom and now i get this message when i try to install titanium backup and kingsoft office... already tryied clearing dalvik...

I was testing a JB rom and then i got back to X-Gamer. But as soon i flashed the rom and tried to download titanium backup to get my apps back, i got this same rror, but this time with EVERY app in market. I changed the rom to ATOMIC 7.0 and the same error appears.
Seems it's not a rom problem now, how can i fix this?

After flashing stock, custom and a backup i got it working again. The problem is the same as shown in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=910956
there is any way to change where the cache is saved? I must save it in Sd card...
I accidentally deleted my stock settings app when attempting to fix it cause it wasnt opening. Please someone copy your settings.apk from /system/priv-apps/ and leave it down in comments please.
EDIT: 10/13 | I am having issues with crashing and freezing and i dont know if the issue is related so someone please help
If you're using a custom rom, just dirty flash the rom
