[U] No deep sleep ! - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi folks. As the title says my Xperia U doesn't enter deep sleep mode on any of the kernels.
Anyone got an idea what could be wrong?
Thanks

If you are charging your phone wont go in deep sleep.
Maybe an application is preventing the deep sleep.
Try wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery or in /data/dalvik-cache delete all files and reboot.
If this doesn't help it means kernel bug.

Yeah. I blocked apps from spawning up on their own using Rom toolbox and that is what kept the device awake. Uninstalled rom toolbox and all works well now
Sent from my ST25i using Tapatalk 2

Well seems like it isn't working after all.
The device went into deep sleep for just 15 seconds and had been awake since then. Wiped dalvik cache.

XPERIA S Wake all the time!

Cpu is often awake! And sometimes it keep waking up which drain battery dramatically even charger won't charge or slow! While i'm off to bed, I've been charging my battery for 5 hours when i woke up it's 20%. I'm on stock and ka speed kernel i even undervolted 75mv!

I would suggest the following: wipe cache and dalvik, flash Advanced stock kernel (build 11 is the best) and test. If the issue persists, look for the app which is draining your battery.
I think it's walkman app! Because i just stop listening to music before going to bed! Maybe it kept cpu to wake continuosly!

To to Settings > Apps > All and disable any app you don't use, especially com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup. There is a bug in Sony's ICS firmware which doesn't let phone sleep properly when Wi-Fi is disable, so keep it enable even thought you are not using it.
For more info check out this thread.

Its called the "deep sleep" or "death screen" I get it sometimes, I just hold the power button for 10 seconds and it resets the device (not factory reset, just reboot, if you like)
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Well you may also try wiping caches and fixing permissions.. it might help i think

if Reboot doesn't work
Just restore to a Stock Samsung Firmware and don't forget to reset your device. (you could backup via your computer)

Better battery stats for the wakelocks and cpu spy to see if your device is deep sleeping. And if you just flashed something give it a few battery cycles before you judge the battery

Check with other battery, it happen to me and is a hardware problem and not from the ROM or Kernel or calibration... if with another battery is the same, then try to bring it in technical support.
By the way, don't buy a new battery, use a battery from other friend... =)
I have a SD card
hey guys,
I've moved some apps to the external sd card.

Try downloading a wake lock manager, just do a Google search for one. Then use the phone as you normally would. It will analyse which apps are preventing deep sleep

Ok..and what about screen ****s i have attached..is there some thing wrong?!!
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Ah sorry, i hadn't seen them! The offending apps/processes are clearly highlighted, try going to the application manager, all apps tab, and scroll down to the respective process. Either disable it or un install. If neither is an option then try freezing it and unfreezing it, or clearing the cache

My mobile remain awake most of the time randomly. It doesn't go into deep sleep. Any help.
For example, the download manager can be paused, as can the network location service. As a last resort, if your phone is rooted, replace your kernel with a different one, it may not be handling wake lock management very well.

you. guys have to do a wiped clean install from scratch witch means..
do a full wipe/factory reset then go in mount/storage and format system (remember to remount it again afterwards)
then flash rom+gapps - this way you have no leftovers whatsoever!
i have no deep sleep issues done this way or else for that matter
No need to flash anything..
Backup all 3'rd party apps + callogs/sms/settings(no system apps, only data) with titanium backup. Then do a factory reset, now install your backups without data and restore your system data..
The apps u installed the last 10 days, those should be restored with some time difference so u can monitor witch app is causing wake locks..
Alternative is to uninstall the apps u installed the last 10 days,to see if that fixes your wake lock problem..
Ps. Facebook can cause wakelocks
First..what 3rd party apps are?? Then
Did u saw the screen shoot?? U will find a process named audioOut_1 at partial wakelock (plz reverse the screen shoots maybe u can know what is happining)
I excuse u to tell me what my problem is in
Btw this isuee is appeared today and i have uninstalled the recent up. No thing change..no sleep just 8 min throght this isuee
Thaaaanks and plz reply me as fast u can

U call this easier ? and u dont even now if it solves the problem, after all this hassle, and then u even say do a factory reset..lol do the fresh install and be sure there's no left overs, thats the only way to exclude possible errors! and by far a lot faster too
then if problem persists, install betterbatterystats 0.92 from market to see whats preventing phone to sleep - but there iset any if u do full wipe!
But idont need rom. I need stock l...only root..so what i have to flash?!

[Q] Need Help With Apps Crashing

I have cleanrom 3.5 on my sch-I605 Verizon and I noticed after installin there are two apps that will not work at all and there two of my top apps one is instagram and the other is songza ...Does anyone have any idea of what I can do to fix this I was thinking about flashing the Verison SE cleanrom 1.0 version also I made a mistake and never created a stock recovery for my verizon note 2 is there anyway to get it ...But first and foremost is there a way to fix the two apps that are crashing ...How can I trouble shoot and fix this issue please help

Also are you restoring the apps from TiBu or from the play store? If you're doing it from TiBu clear the cache on the apps from the application menu in settings.

Have you tried clearing app data for the 2 apps? Also what about going back into recovery wipe cache dalvik cache and fix permissions?
I'm not sure what you mean about not having up stock recovery, to flash clean ROM you still need a custom recovery. Our maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're talking about
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Why are you on 3.5? That is a VERY outdated version of CleanROM
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
When I go into twrp I can't find my stock recovery its as if I was to excited the night I got my phone and forgot to make a back up of stock recovery unless vi have one and don't bknow how to locate when I go into twrp my only back up is cleanrom 3.5 I also noticed that there are a few features on my phone that are causing me the most battery drain its mostly location settings in partial wakelocks it is showing network location locator I lose about 15% battery life at night when my phone is alseep and the bulk of that seems to be from network location locator I don't even know how to tackle this issue I hear his saying the only losing about 2 to 3 % battery drain at night where as I lose 15% I mean that's not alot compared to other phones but it is if you think about it if my phone is in deep sleep I shouldn't be losing 10 to 15 % battery at night the only way to fix is if I turf of wifi at night when im at home do you even mess with that stuff or do you keep all of your stuff on when you go to sleep and when im on 4g lte I lose about a percent every 5 to 7 minutes with screen on and on wifi I lose about a percent every 10 to 12 minutes with screen on
