Hi all!
because I don´t have more than 10 post, I can´t put this question where it belongs.
Is a very easy one:
I have
PDA: I9100WXLPI
PHONE: I9100XXLPX
CSC: I9100BTLP6
I´m root whit CWM.zip and SU-Busybox-Installer.zip. (whitout the triangle one).
Whit all of this, can I install this ROM? I need other firmware and kernel??
Any risk if if do whit this?
Regards all and sorry if this question doesn´t belong in this

From the info you provided, you are running ICS 4.0.3 ROM.
Technically, there is no risk if you flash any custom kernel before flashing paranoid.
However, I'll still advise you to flash Siyah kernel via CWM recovery, for smoother sailing. There is no need for you to flash other firmware, you are God's with this one.
Let me know if you still have other questions

Hi guys & gals,
I've *just* taken delivery of a new Samsung Galaxy SII running
Android 2.3.3
Baseband I9100XXKDJ
Kernel 2.6.35.7-I9100XXKDJ-CL187606 [email protected]#2
Gingerbread XWKE2 build
I've successfully flashed the kernel of my previous SGS1 to root it using CF-Root via Odin.
I believe I'm looking for a KDJ version of the CF-Root, but can't find one.
Any help / pointers would be much appreciated as unrooted, the phone's just no fun! And I can't use my Titanium backup.
Thank you
Dave
No need to find KDJ or specific. Just find your PDA version and flash that kernel.
I hope you know how to see PDA version,

You may want to update to a newer rom, look in this thread, then select a correct version of CF root.

Bro , The Model i9100T can use i9100 roms, but it will change the product code to i9100.
Easiest way to rooting will be using the CF-root Cf-root method ( (you will gain clockworkmod recovery, a way to flash roms/etc from your phone, and nandroid, a whole phone backup system, like snapshots)
Just go through the thread in detail. You will have to match the part of the version number in bold "PDA: 19100TDVKL2"
Phones info:
PDA: The rom/kernel
PHONE: The modem/radio, responsable for signal quality and speed, you dont need to match this to rom version, and the best way to find a good one is to test different ones or check for user exp /comments.
CSC: APN settings and bundles apps, no need to match this, but if you do chose to all you may have todo is enter your APN settings for internet and MMS manually.
You can follow intratech post for flashing any rom flash any rom via odin.See this guide

You also keep using I9000 and I9100 interchangeably, what phone do you actually have? If you have an I9100 (not I9000 or I9100G) then you can find everything you need about flashing an ICS ROM in the stickies, specifically http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544487

is your phone rooted?
Hello I am new here and have some questions.
I wanted to update my sgs2 from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4. I have downloaded a hopefully correct firmware at sammobile. My question is what do I have to wipe? Do I have to especially take care of anything and how do I find out if I have this superbrick bug that can occurs while wiping. Thanks for your help.
Phone:I9100BVLPB
PDA: I9100BVLPD

Hello,
I want to root my Galaxy II again after the update to Android 4.0.4.
My phone's data is:
PDA: I9100XWLPW
PHONE: I9100XXLQ6
CSC: I9100DBTLPI
Which kernel shall I use for rooting my phone again. I only found a CF-Root Kernel >CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_LPW-v5.5-CWM5.zip< containing a .tar-file from May 2012. I believe, this is an old file and not for use with 4.0.4. But what ist the right kernel? Can you help me?

Why not go for a custom kernel like Siyah, Dream Kernel or Dorimanx? Those can be installed via Odin too.

Flash a custom kernel NOT Cfroot inorder to stay safe from the brick bug.
