So basically i broke my phone and i need help so bad. The wall of text below is what i did. I have a Galaxy S2 GT-I900P and its rooted.Thank you in advance.
So yeah, i tried to install Miui, everything was good except that i didnt have clockwork recovery but i still had the same choices so i thought it doesnt matter. When i got to the part when i have to choose the Adyscorpius file, i went into the wrong directory (i went to sdcard instead of Internal sdcard(where i actually saved the file)). I tried to reboot but i got stuck on the screen with yellow triangle. So i found avideo and did what he did but it didnt work, instead i got a blue screen when i flashed the file. After all the mess that i have done, i finally found the file but it didnt work, i even started all over again but it says "assert failed: getprop blah blah blah...... Installation aborted."

these are the videos that i followed
*Edit* what i did on CWM-based recovery v5.0.2.7

just adding more info that might help

It seems you have access to one CWM recovery, either a temporary one, or a permanent one.
The reason why you are probably getting getprop stuff is because you are using an early bugged version of CWM recovery version 6.x
If you can flash latest version of Siyah kernel or any custom ROM, that error should disappear.

Your problem seems to be a small one. What's the real problem now? have you been able to flash anything via Odin?
You don't need to take it to any shop. Do it yourself and learn at once.
But can you say what is that blue screen can you take picture ? Or you just got stuck at boot animation ?

American region will work just fine, so far the firmware is compatible with your phone. At worst you have bad signals, you will just flash another modem.
Flashing another modem shouldn't be important here, because after flashing this firmware, I'll guide you on installing your Miui ROM at once.

Put phone into download mode (volume down + home + power) and flash your official firmware found from Intratech thread with Odin.
Do NOT use PIT or repartition ! ! Follow his instructions exactly.
If you can't get phone into download mode, try a "Samsung USB jig" found on Ebay for around $2

Flash the above CSC Arabic package "CSC" in Odin same time as kernel "PDA".

Follow Intratech's Guide Exactly.................

Input ur ext sd into pc
Backup important files and perform format.
Insert into phone and try again.
There has been rare cases of external sd corruption during factory wipes or rom/kernel installation through cwm/odin.
This methods worked for a few members in the past with problems accessing their ext sd cards.
Cheers.
Editreply lol u have posted in the paranoid thread that u have the same problem as the guy who is having trouble accessing his external sd...
If its ur internal sd, Try clean install of stock rom through odin.
Edit2: btw u should clean up ur posts in the paranoid thread so that people dont get confused. You and the other guys problems is a completely different one. Also the error u are facing is not an emmc error, as /emmc is ur EXternal sd unless u changed mountpoints but u dont have an external lol,. u should also learn to thank people who try to help, it doesnt kill.

Did you also flashed a CF root kernel? and ughh well it's kinda hard to go back to stock and put a flashable ZIP on your phone, boot in recovery. 'cause stock doesn't allow flashes.
So help me out here

2) Flash via Odin
3) Custom Kernel is already on
So how can you do it without odin and stock?

As already suggested by others you should return to stock. With the firmware you have this would be (according to sammobile):
PDA: I9100XWLP7
CSC: I9100VIALP2
Version: 4.0.3
Date: 2012-04-06
Regions: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
As you are rooted and don't want to use Odi you could use MobileOdin.

All I can do is download a rom which is in zip format, but i know odin does not support .zip but it supports .tar, so how can i download rom in .tar, also does it matter if I flashed the rom which is not meant for my region?(I mean I dont know my phone's PDA and I am not able to decide which firmware to download since every firmware has its own specific PDA)... Yes, I'll be going back again to custom rom after I make it work...haha
AFAIK a rom for another country wont break your phone, but be careful with 4.0.4 roms because of the brickbug

go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 and choose the stock or even another stock rom you wish, download it.
Boot into download mode and flash the single .tar file through odin, flashing instructions can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
PD: if the downloaded file is .zip and not .tar, just extract the zip and u'll get the .tar

Parameter is incorrect error can be caused by either of two reasons
1 . something is wrong with the file you downloaded try re downloading
2.Kies is interfering with Odin, terminate Kies from the background by using the task manager.
Using GT - I9100
Just hit the damn help button if I helped you.

I did a backup because i can't found a stock rom with the same pda, phone and csc
Before install, i will not have any problem doing the manually update via ODIN ???
If the update is possible, after install can i restore my cwm backup and everything will be ok???
Thanks!!

If you restore your CWM backup, you'll be back on whatever version you backed up before you updated. It'll be like you didn't update at all.
@ctomgee are you sure that cwm backup ALL ?
After updating to JB how could i do the restore? CWM will be deleted after updating (i guess). I will have to install siyah kernel to JB ???
Thanks!!!

Yes. You should probably read some guides. This is a basic question that has been asked over and over and over and over and...... you get the point. Look in General at the stickies.

What restore? What are you trying to accomplish, exactly? are you trying to just upgrade to JB and retain all data/etc?

Do you mean you will no longer have CWM recovery after updating? If so, then yes, this is true. You will have the Samsung stock recovery image after updating, until you install a kernel that has a permanent CWM recovery image in it.

I don't even know what you're asking here. If you're asking if you have to install Siyah kernel before upgrading to JB, no, not necessarily. It might be a good idea if your phone has a eMMC chip susceptible to the brick bug, AND you're currently on a 4.0.4 firmware from Samsung. If either one of those conditions is NOT true, then you don't have to worry about it.
He asked if he'll have to flash siyah, as in mandatory.

You know my idea is:
backup all the information with CWM ( i did)
Update to 4.1.2 via ODIN (no yet)
After update to 4.1.2 and i dont like jb (or maybe i have a problem), i want to go back to 4.0.4 how can i restore my old backup???
The update will delete CWM? If the update delete CWM is possible to reinstall it?

Ok, this was NOT clear in your first post whatsoever.
Yes, if you update to 4.1.2, the update will remove CWM recovery. To restore your old 4.0.4 backup if you are dissatisfied with 4.1.2, you should:
- re-flash 4.0.4 via Odin
- then re-flash the same version of Siyah you had while you were on 4.0.4 previously (to get CWM recovery back)
- then boot to CWM recovery, and restore.
Then you should be back where you were before you updated.

Why would he need to flash 4.0.4 again via ODIN? Thats just a waste of time and not needed. He can simply flash Siyah in ODIN, reboot into recovery and flash his backup.

I suggested it for maximum compatibility, in case he doesn't boot into recovery. Chances are good he would boot loop in that scenario, and it takes (wastes) just a minute or so.
There a manual to how to restore a cwm backup with odin?
I search without results
Thanks!

You found no results because you can't do what you're asking for. Odin flashes .tar packages. CWM backups are not .tar packages.
Hello,
My phone can't update the latest firmware via settings > more > phone-info > software-update. It will download and reboot in update/download mode, but then stops updating and reboots normal. It says can't update firmware, try via Kies or a Samsung Centre. Kies says the phone is not supported...

I've rooted my phone in the past, but im now back on the Netherlands stock rom (see the image below). I would like to have my phone original (no root et cetera). I had problems with my IMEI (previous topic).
Should I flash CWM Recovery (via this tut) and root my phone (via this tut), backup EFS/IMEI (via one of the backup/restore apps in the topic) and flash stock rom again (via this tut) OR should I just follow this tut. I'm afraid I lose my IMEI this way.
Thanks!
Please help!
Hey
Boot your phone in download mode (vol down+ home+ power) then hit vol up when prompted..

ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-19300
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: Yes (2 Counts)
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
It says 2 because of CWM and Root I just flashed. Before I also had a CWM, root en Custom rom but when I went back on stock I lost my IMEI because of the basebands. Then I flashed the UK stock rom (that one had a newer baseband the Netherlands one). After the Netherlands got the new baseband, I flashed that one, but around 28 march there came a new update available and that's when I found out it won't update... I think it has to do with the past of my phone...
Hey
You are right..use an app called Triangle Away made by Chainfire..Google it..
Then try to flash stock ROM via odin..but u need to be rooted first..

My phone is rooted now. Should I back up my IMEI first and then flash the stock rom after I Used Triangle Away? Im afraid to lose my IMEI again... I Could also follow this tut maybe?
Hey
It would be safer that's all..try using philz recovery for that..
Also u need not flash a stock recovery before a full flash, as told in the guide..but you can just follow it word to word..
I always use triangle away and then directly flash firmware using Odin..

Hey
Can u boot into recovery and tell me what u see now?
Do you have your phone serial number written down? It's under the battery, just above where the IMEI is written down. If you plug in KIES, and select the option "Emergency Firmware Recovery", with your phone on, then enter in your serial number, and the model number of the phone, (GT-I9300), you will be able to download the OEM firmware. It will wipe EVERYTHING from the phone, so make sure you have all of your crucial data backed up. If you can't get KEIS to work, you can restart the phone in download mode, and flash the OEM ROM with ODIN.
