I have an AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket (SGH-I727) ...I flashed the CM10 Superheavy 5.0 ROM, but I did the Hercules (T989) by accident. Now my model number is (T989). I tried to flash the stock .tar file for I727, but I just kept getting the AT&T boot screen looping. How can I go back to I727 so I can reflash the correct CM10 ROM?
Lol very funny be careful next time try holding the volume up and power to go to twrp if u have

R u sure this would fix it, they copy the efs folder but its just 80kb also there is no nv_data.bin in anywhere of that folder .
should they copy it as a tar file or can just copying the folder normally work?
if this can be fix even by remote access over team viewer , let me know who can do it and the cost...
I installed a rom, then found out it was bad, and unrooted the wrong model. so now i have a phone with the wrong model number. i need it to be samsung galaxy s2 at&t and right now its Samsung I9100. i guess i have to root, and install the original rom?
The i9100 is the sgs2 if you have gsm working or no bugs there is no need to reflash

Your problem is you flashed files for the wrong phone. These are the forums for the samsung galaxy s vibrant (t959). You need the forums for the samsung galaxy s 4g (t959v). They are two totally different phones and are not compatible.

By the "telus variant", do you happen to mean the SGH-T989D? (check the label under your battery for model number)
If the device model is indeed the SGH-T989D, you should to to that device forum, which is located at http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1329.
This post is currently in the forum for the GT-I9100, which is a different phone than the SGH-T989D.
Man just do a factory reset... Wipe data and you should be good to go
Hello
I was running liquid smooth jellybean rom on my att i717 Galaxy note. so i tried to go back to stock. i flashed ics stock rom using odin, the phone rebooted but won't go pass the att log, it just reboots and sticks at the log. it says 5 counts when i go back into odin mode. Am i doomed or is there hope and if so, what can i do?
Flash it again but wait a bit. Samsung has a lot of bloat it loads up
