Hey all.
I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with sending the phone off to HTC to have the bluetooth range issues repaired yet or not?
Mine has seemed to degrade that I now cant keep in pocket and have it work anymore.
WOW! Has no one sent their phone in for this for repair or anything?

I'm trying to fix my friend's HTC amaze (wind). The screen wasn't turning on but I know that the device itself is on because the computer detects it. I was suddenly able to get it working by reflashing the stock ruu. Then I got everything working rooted it and unlocked the bootloader and installed quicksense. Then I gave it back to my friend and he put his sim card into it and tried to turn it back on but then the screen suddenly didn't show anything again and the light at the bottom shows which is strange. I'm not sure how to diagnose it. My friend got the phone from his friend who got scammed and the phone isn't under warranty. Thanks.

It may not have warranty from the carrier but it does have the warranty from HTC. Call HTC and you send the phone it to them. They'll fix it and send it back. I did that multiple times. I bought HD2s from eBay and I called HTC. They fixed the phone for me.
Hi Peeps.
Was wondering about how people here have gotten on with having to send their beloved S3 home for warranty support. Are they generally quick with repairs and returning the phones to you ?
I have just found the need to return mine as I am suffering a sudden issue with dead / stuck pixels, and Samsung have asked me to send it in. As this is the only phone I own that has a micro-sim and those adaptor things don't fit my old HTC Desire, I will be without my main phone for God knows how long !!
Has anybody in the UK had to return theirs, and if so, how long did you have to go on without ?

Browsed through the forums and didn't see this posted at all.... I have a stock Droid DNA (only phone I haven't bothered to root) and since I broke the glass on my phone (wound up having the LCD and digitizer replaced) my connection has been erratic. I have no signal from time to time (in areas where I usually had connectivity) and when I do connect I'm usually stuck on 3G.
I've had my SIM card swapped out twice and don't know what else to do. I haven't messed with any roms or kernels so I don't think that is an issue....
Does anyone have any advice or tips/tricks that I could try?

With out being the person who repaired the phone I'd guess they either knocked the antenna off or damaged it. If the phone was repaired by a authorized repair shop you can call Verizon and have your phone replaced through the warranty free of charge if with in the first year or you have the insurance on your account

Just want to share my problem with htc desire V, and i hope someone know how to fix it..
On January 2013 i buy this phone, 1 month later the lcd is broke in my bag. i got it replaced at HTC service point after 2-3 month pending because they still waiting for the spare part. after the repair the warranty is void because of the human error.
Its been 1+ month since the repair and i like to use it again, but it seems there are major problem on my desire V.. the signal is very bad and sometime it even doesn't catch any signal.. i tried on several places, the problem still exist..
is there anyone can guide me to fix this issue?
whether it is a software or hardware problem..
