I tried to install UPDATE 15/10/12 | Android 4.0.4 | Custom Rom | Clean_Slim&Fast V.0.1
I put archos.ext4 on storage.
I restart and enter to the SDE Menu
I go to Format -> Reset Android
Next : Developper....-> Flash.....
ARCH_REC open on computer screen : I put zImage and initramfs.cpio.lzo here and flash
The device restarts and it is locked on bootscreen : Archos Entertainment your way.
I wait 10min and locked on screen.
So I went to the SDE Menu, i try again : it's the same.
So in the SDE menu I formated Android/Media Storage and Android et storage.
I try again and it's the same : locked on bootsreen Archos Entertainment your way.
How must I dislocked it ?

Reinstall 4.0.7 stock rom, and try again. This time following the install guide.

My Archos no start! I've recharged for many hours, but no response. I followed these steps to reinstall the firmware:
1. download latest firmware from archos.com
2. reboot into recovery (powen on + hold down "vol down")
3. recovery -> repair/format -> reformat device (sry not really sure how the menus are called exactly) THIS WILL DELETE ALL THE DATA ON YOUR DEVICE AND RECREATE PARTITIONS
4. u will be asked for the previously downloaded firmware file (upload via usb connection and w8 for flash)
5. you are done - your device will we ini original state wiht latest firmware
...but, in the Step 3...doesn't complete the process: ''setting up system: done'' and does not give me option to insert new firmware.
Anyone know how to solve it?

You have to the following:
- Install SDE (you only have to do this only once, it will even survive a full reformat)
- Install android firmware

Hi all, for first sorry for my english i am beginner.
I have a trouble with my Lenovo P780, i had 4.4.2 from baralajbi, 3 days ago my phone was turn off. When i was turn on, phone wont start only show LENOVO logo and then restart. I tried install many of rom. Works only one P780_S125_130529_camera_fix, but yesterday phone turn off and then again the same -> Show only LENOVO and reboot.
I made in SP flash tools full format with bootloader and here is problem.
After format a cant install any rom
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM -> ok
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool -> ok
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model -> ok
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- choose DA DL All With Check Sum -> ok
- Turn off phone, (push the red reset button) -> ok
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect phone into the computer via USB data cable -> ok
But install dont start.
I need help. Is possible install rom after full format.

At first try to reinstall drivers for P780 on your PC.
Driver -> reinstall, after this i install rom Life but problem is still here -> Turn on my phone - show Lenovo logo and then reboot. I tried install lots of rom but always show only Lenovo and reboot, Any idea how to fix this ? Thanks
Now i made Memory test in Flash Tools and show me:
Internal Ram
.....
Exetrnal Ram
.....
NAND Flash
ERROR: NAND Flash was not detectet!
Maybe is problem here but i dont know what is NAND Flash.

I expose my problem.
A friend of mine handed me his family tablet (Lenovo S6000 Android 4.2.2 Jellybean, Kernel 3.4.5, MT 6589, 16Gb)
According to her, it did not seem to want to normally boot.
No backup, no update, no bootloader ... no root ...
So I took the animal home and I check and try the following ....
1) Power ON the device ==> OK
2) Result device ==> frozen on the logo "Lenovo" indefinitely
3) Recovery Mode Android (3rd) ==> Reboot system (the same as the line 2)
4) Recovery Mode Android (3rd) ==> Wipe Data / Factory Reset Wipe Cache Partition + Reboot System
5) Android Logo slept with exclamation point (no command )
6) Recovery Mode Android ==> Reboot System
7) Android Logo standing with "Effacement en cours" (erasing data ) and boot in loop
8) Factory Menu in Chinese ==> All tests buttons, displays and touch are OK (except the WIFI) + Technical information of the device Reboot System
That's where I am right now!
To date I have access has three kinds of pages on the tablet:
1_ Android Recovery Mode <3>: Reboot, ADB, sdcard, Wipe Data, Factory Reset, Wipe Partition
* Reboot system ==> After Reboot, Android Logo standing with "current Erase" then reboot in loop
* Upadate ADB ==>Tablet not recognized on my computer ... So no interaction between the tablet and the PC
* Update sdcard ==> Only possibility to inject anything on this tablet
* Update from Cache ==> No data
* Wipe Data / Factory Mode ==> Display ok => YES - delete all user data (no change)
* Wipe Cache Partition ==> OK (No change)
2_ Page "META MODE": What and how is it ????
3_ factory Chinese Menu: All test performed successfully +/- (except wifi)
No recognition of the device when connected to the PC .... Device Manager does not detect anything ... Yet Lenovo drivers & android USB drivres are installed!
No possibility to install drivers "Android_CDC_Driver" because again nothing appears in the Device Manager!
... From obliged to drop the tablet resting on the USB cable just for to power ...
Is it possible to do everything via the SD card if the tablet was not "prepared" before ???
I own the firmware, the ROM and the Open Source Code s6000.
The difficulty for me is going to be Android Jellybean 4.2.2 reinject power via "Apply update from Sdcard" because there seems to also be a problem as with the USB jack on the tablet: /
So exit the ADB or Fastboot ... the Root, ect ... well I think ...
The only problem is that my skills stop there!

0. Found a usb stick , plug it into a pc and Format it as fat32
1. Dowload this zip https://mega.nz/file/gh0xCCrR#ctdPivezVFNAuMLq19eOepO1LHJCfVNhowmZz7Fx87s
2. Extact update.zip and xiaomi_update from the zip file and put it as the root of usb stick
3. Extact recovery.img from update.zip and put it as the root of usb stick
4. Unplug the usb stick from PC and DO NOT PLUG IT IN TO MIX BOX 3
5. Power on the mi box and boot it into reovery mode
7. Wait util you saw the reovery mode boot up and plug into usb stick
6. Select Apply update fro EXT in the reovery mode
7. Select from udisk
8. Select update.zip
9. Wait util it has flash the zip
10. After reboot you should saw the android 8 uboot has been flashed to the mi box but the android 8 didnt flashed into the mi box and android 9 is not bootable for the uboot so the android 8 uboot will boot from the reovery.img at the root of the usb stick.
11. The recovery will started to load the file xiaomi_update when it boot. After the it has loaded file , it will started install the android 8 from the update.zip file and it will reboot few time during process(It will show you a progress bar . a text that said upgrading system and a logo via the display ) .
12. After step 11 The android 8 will started boot for it fisrt time and it will failed to boot due to the android 9 userdata isnt compatible with android 8.
13 . After failed to boot. The android 8 will reboot into a recovey menu that have text that said "Cannot load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device.".
14. Select Factory data reset from the menu.
15. Select yes from the menu.
16. Done
