I'm actually on CNA and i can cconfirm that it has a native HDMI mirroring resolution made for the lapdock, it look clean, crisp and sharp
I've tried paranoid, and had a couple of settings problem, but did have a HDMI mirroring expressevly made for the lapdock Elysée again, bso i guess that almost every cm10 libs has a native HDMI mirroring resolution for the lapdock

Is it possible?
Has it been done?
I mean, using a miniUSB cam for making video calls with a proper app.
It'd be so nice if SE would officially release a miniUSB Cam accessory for our X10...

Its very unlikely that SE would release such an accessory for the x10, when it would be useless with their current line of handsets. The only way a cam accessory would be added is if some was able to make appropriate miniusb drivers to support the use of a mini-usb cam
^^What he said, except it's micro USB...

If u need features the X10 doesn't have then buy a phone which suites your usage.
otherwise use a mirror

I thought he meant the camera would be mini, as in tiny or small... not the port type... but I could be wrong.

Actually I was referring to the port type.
You're right guys, it's microUSB. My bad
The psp 1000 could do this.. USB hosting was a native hardware feature.
The x10 may be capable.. but would require some hand written drivers and code.
Since SE hides the candy.
Build a mini periscope for the camera, using a couple of mirrors... It would probably be easier and more compact than the usb camera! Infact you could use a 1/4" headphone jack to hold it in place....
Might try this, it sounds doable!

I know it sounds stupid, but can you (or someone else) try to draw it in paint or similar...?

Same here. More noticeable if you have a large size HDTV. The output for arc's hdmi is 720p max.
Hopefully, Xperia S and P will output 1080p

I'm try decompile and extract apk , I found drawable resolution is now 320dpi - -*
but It's still beautiful and work.
xperia s & p produce a lot sharper image output.
but beware, that arc is laggy on 720p so no 1080p for arc (though somehow would shurely be portable)
S & P are lot more powerful, so they can handle 1080p throughput

There is no app icon for it; it only launches once your HDMI is plugged in. You'll see a notification in the notification bar to launch it.

Is there anyway to prevent the gallery from launching first, so that this launches when the HDMI is plugged in?

Is there a way right not, that the LAPDOCK can work with Webtop 3.0? I'm running the Ics leaked rom right now.

The answer at the present time for the laddock is no. Webtop3 (basically tablet ui) only works on the hd dock or hdmi. You can use tablet ui on the Lapdock with epinter's CM10 (and others) providing you follow some steps to toggle into tablet ui.

Hi all,
I've been running a Jelly Bean ROM for a while now but need to start using the lapdock again. Are there any ICS (or JB) ROMs that have a working webtop for the lapdock?
Alternatively is there a way to get Google Now working on Gingerbread ROMs?!
Cheers
Wag
There is no web top in ICS/jb. There is HDMI mirroring though.
