Does it work with the erwin's CM9 ICS?

akulgupta100 said:
Yeah it will But
1) cf 3D is dangerous please take a backup before installing
2) NO VERSION OF CF 3D ABOVE 1.8 WORKS ON WF SO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE USING THAT(get the apk from google not market)
3)You will need plugins(google that)
4)After installing and taking a nand open cf3d and install the cf3d driver
5)After reboot open cf3d and install plugins
6)Use NVIDIA plugin
7)Now Open Instagram
8)Enjoy !!!!

i have tried this but instagram is still force closing:crying:

Market fix for X10 Mini/Mini Pro?

As the title, is there any market fix for X10 Mini/Mini Pro?
Cheers!
With ROOT,or unlocked with US SIM
Just tested Market Enabler 3.0.8 and it worked perfect after rooting the phone
I would suggest getting this http://amip.tools-for.net/android/MarketAccess instead of market enabler.

10/10 for your link ... .....
but the sdk pack will not install, so i need the marketfix in .apk format!!!
You don't need SDK, just install some file manager from Market, like "OI File Manager", browse to the sdcard downloads and click on the apk file to install it.

yes... but this is a thread about how to get the Market app onto phones that don't come with it installed. You can't download a file manager from the market without having the market available

Sorry, I thought that this thread was about enabling paid applications in Market as it was referencing MarketEnabler and MarketAccess.
Ahh, you're probably right
Certainly some carrier's X10 minis don't have the market on then at all
My UK Orange one defaulted to Orange's crapware homescreen with Orange's own shop, and hid the real marketplace and the S.E. homescreen away - I feel sorry for the poor users who don't know better and end up stuck buying apps at Orange's inflated prices!
Did you mean that you doesn't have market app?
Try to extract the attachment, copy to sdcard, and install it using File Manager... Don't forget to tick "Unknown Source" in Settings > Application
I don't know whether it'll work or not, so just try it... It's a market app from my X10 Mini

Does this or MarketAccess allow us to download apps that have been removed because they *might* be incompatible due to screen resolution etc?

How link apk to Android Market?

Re-installed an app (apk) I had previously backed-up.
Originally, I downloaded it from Android Market.
Now how can I make Android Market see it?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
With Titaniun Backup, you must have root access, long press on the apk and a pop up window will appear, just select link it to market, and thats all

Tried that.
But shouldn't there be an "M" (referring to Android Market) over a yellow smiling face? I can't get that...
Try going in to Manage Applications, find the market, and Clear the Data and Cache.
Then re-open the market and go to My Apps... this worked for me.

How about linking apks downloaded from other (non-market) sources?
I wanna get updates for my other apps that I didn't download from the market. I've tried the above steps, but it still didn't work for any of the apps.

If GTA3 needed Chainfire 3d you'll need to reinstall the driver under CM9..
uninstall it, delete all files, install it, use chainfire 3d with qualcomm, download all files and boom it works
mine works fine

get a version of titanium backup that works on CM9, backup user data for the app. Uninstall the app, delete downloaded files, install app, redownload files, restore user data from Titanium.

It works fine for me just doing a reinstall. You shouldn't need to use Chainfire to fake a Qualcomm chip because it already has one by default.
Hmm to be honest none of my games are really working except for Modern Combat all other give me an error saying "Unfortunately NAME... has stopped" any ideas?

You should try reinstalling. GTA III didn't work for me until I reinstalled it.
ROM Toolbox works on CM9 and it has a very good app manager in it. I use it to back up and restore my apps. It's easier than finding a version of TB that works.

ro.product.model=GT-I9100

dont do this again. if you want to keep your savegame, just a pick a file manager, go to sdcard/android/data/com.rockstar.gta3//files/gta3/ and copy the gta3sfxxxx.b files wherever you want
xxxx= some numbers
reinstall it, and put the files back there. and enjoy it
Everything works fine, you must uninstall some games and reinstall.
To run Gameloft Games edit your build.prop to say this:
ro.product.model=DROIDX
manufacturer=motorola
Does Chainfire 3D work with CM9? I would like to get Samurai II: Vengeance THD working.

I suppose your apk itself got corrupted somehow.
May be you can search on the net for that version of apk and download it from some of the websites that allows you to download apk directly rather than from Google Play.

[Q] Chainfire 3D - Could not open ZIP file

Whenever I try to install the plugins (clicking on for example libGLEMU_QUALCOMM.zip), I get the following:
Plugin
ERROR
Could not open ZIP file
Can this be fixed?
I'm running Gingerbread 2.3.6 and a MTK6575.
Sounds like it may have been just a bad download, I would redownload and try again

Thanks for the try but doesn't work.
I redownloaded Chainfire 3D from Google Play Store, installed the app again, then downloaded the plugins again, placed them in the root of the SD and then try to install them but still , the same error.
Hmm.. Did you install the CF3D driver first and then after it reboots install the plugin?
Try this copy of the plugin

Yes, I
- install Chainfire 3D
- then Allow SuperUser
- then I select CF3D Driver
- then I select Install
- after it saying performing install, it reboots.
- then I open Chainfire and choose Install plugin
- after that I select libGLEMU_QUALCOMM.zip and I get the error
Plugin
ERROR
Could not open ZIP file.
Oh well it was worth a shot
Looks like that plugin just won't work with your phone

Well it's weird that there is barely information about this.. must be one heck of a phone :/
