Power Save Mode.
"Following on from our Xperia Android 2.3.4 review yesterday, we have been inundated with requests about certain widgets that were missing from other peoples builds. Therefore, by popular request we are providing three apk files. Two are for the new analogue clock and fancy timer widgets. The third is for the new ‘Power save mode’ app that currently only exists on the Xperia ray.
Installation is easy, just extract the rar file below and install each apk onto your handset. We tested all three apk’s on an Xperia arc still running Android 2.3.3 and they all worked without any problems."

it helps you easily activate your desired setting with one button when you are low on battery
Pretty much the app helps you gave more battery by turning off things that use more battery. E.g WiFi. And can set profiles.

For me is the best part "profiles"

Yeah, I agree, they come in handy.
DOUBT
Deos the power saver mode really works???
I mean i switch off wifi , bluetooth and data services when not in use, my NEO V battery lasts 24-30 hours depending on the usage. Will power saver really be helpful??? SetCPU or CPU tuner should work better by undercloaking to lower CPU frequency.
But cpu apps are not able control your wifi, data, GPS, Bluetooth....

not so sure
Does power save mode app really helps? I mean you could always toggle wifi, BT, GPS and Data On and Off through a power widget right? or through settings. My Xperia Neo lasted for 8hours in standby mode at 9% battery without any powersaving apps. My battery lasted for almost 20Hrs with moderate texting and moderate wifi browsing.... I think all we need to do is to monitor connectivity apps like BT and wifi or even data and GPS to be turned off when not in use..
Yes, though using app you set it up only once, so you can't forget

Yes used this app....but those AIO(all in one) apps are sh*t
Cpu is often awake! And sometimes it keep waking up which drain battery dramatically even charger won't charge or slow! While i'm off to bed, I've been charging my battery for 5 hours when i woke up it's 20%. I'm on stock and ka speed kernel i even undervolted 75mv!

I would suggest the following: wipe cache and dalvik, flash Advanced stock kernel (build 11 is the best) and test. If the issue persists, look for the app which is draining your battery.
I think it's walkman app! Because i just stop listening to music before going to bed! Maybe it kept cpu to wake continuosly!

To to Settings > Apps > All and disable any app you don't use, especially com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup. There is a bug in Sony's ICS firmware which doesn't let phone sleep properly when Wi-Fi is disable, so keep it enable even thought you are not using it.
For more info check out this thread.

I've recently updated my Neo v with Ultimate XD ROM and the ROM is very smooth and I don't have any issues with it. I have Juice defender plus installed in which I've configured few apps so that the network will not get disabled when these apps are running. Past 2 days I don't see it working and even when the application is running and when I lock my screen the network is disabled which was not the case 2 days back. I haven't changed any configuration till now and not sure why it started behaving like this.
I tried Battery Defender and added those application to the white list and even the Battery Defender couldn't sense the status of the application and it always disabled the network even the running application is added in white list.
Someone let me know what went wrong in my system....
Guys no clue?

My Suggestion for u is to uninstall both the Juice Defender and Battery Defender..
Dey consume more RAM and drains ur battery.. so dont go for such kind of apps..
Hit "THANKS" if i helped you..
Do you think that disabling the data connection when not in use will drain more battery?
Sent from my MT11i using xda app-developers app
U see there are many such apps out there.. as far as my experience, i say these battery saving apps dont work.. the particular application u are running or your kernel will eat the amount of battery they need to work.. u use whatever, it wont stop them from using your battery.. if you are on custom kernel try undervolting.. if you are soo much concerned with your battery drainage.. but keep in mind.. its risky to play with OC n UV.. dont blame me later if u spoil it
Hit thanks if it helped..

Yeah you're right man ! Just do it manually ! Those apps just auto do it for us ! But we can do it manually by ourselves without wasting our free ram

Best battery defender would be set CPU in my case set your profile as when screen off set your CPU clock speed to 300-300 and keep the profile at highest priority .This saves a lot battery for me

Hello buddy,
I am using L9 from past 8 months, with 1 full day of battery backup using phone normally. So according to my experience best battery saver is do not use any power saver app. Because LG's L9 dev team have already optimised L9 rom and its hardware to save maximum power. 1 more suggestion for battery saving is keep brightness level at 35% and keep touch vibration feedback off specially for keyboard.

Titanium Backup...and freeze a lot of unnecessary application
Stock LG is already good, which is a pleasant surprise coming from the LG Optimus One (dreadful battery life on Froyo until I flashed custom ROM and kernel) and Nexus S (a bit better but still needs custom kernel). Just disable what you don't use (JB can do this natively), keep the brightness at the lowest comfortable level, and keep it at 2G if the 3G reception in your area is bad.
The only app I recommend is Greenify (need root) to take care of possible wakelocks from background apps.
I guess that using a battery saver apart from the 'Energy saving' point in 'Settings' of the phone is no good. Just spend some time deleting and freezing useless apps and you will get some extra juice for your phone)

you can try to clear battery stats after charging your battery to 100%, maybe it will help, but my opinion is most xperias have poor battery performance. I tried to do a lot of things but nothing worked.

Well I saw tht your WiFi was On almost continuously... Turn it off when you dont need it... WiFi is one of the main reason for battery drain... And if you can't do it manually then install some battery saving app like juice defender wich will turn off WiFi when not in use...
My phone runs almost 1 day with moderate use of WiFi, tht is turning on only when needed else off... If I keep it on always my phone runs out of battery within 8-10 hrs.

No matter if your phone is in deep sleep or not... If your WiFi is on even in deep sleep it will still drain the battery... So try with WiFi off 1st..
N the thing with battery stats after restarting thing...
Download battery calibration from play store n calibrate it when you r charged 100% that will hopefully solve the stats problem... But battery calibrator needs root.

during deep sleep my wifi is off chek my screenshots that are posted...
ohk ohk ill try batery caliberator and tell u the results
Battery calibration is not needed, it wont do anything - everytime you charge your phone and unplug it android system makes new battery stats.
WiFi is may be drainig cause look at the blue line after WiFi - it doesn let the phone fully sleeps. So try turning it off (android percentage is very high too, may because of WiFi)

Well that happened coz before there were some apps running in the background so it gave you backup of 16hrs but after the reboot those apps were killed n maybe you didn't open those certain apps after reboot and thts how u got more backup...
So do one thing, download 'auto memory manger ' from play store, its red color icon with tools On it... It kills all the unnecessary apps running in the background draining your battery... On the first start it will guide you through On how to set it up according to your needs.. Try it... Works gud.

From the screenshots, I noticed that your cell phone wasn't receiving signals throughout the deep sleep mode. If the phone isn't receiving signals, or is receiving low signals (1 bar), the phone automatically puts more battery juice into the radio transceiver to catch better reception.
Its possible that your phone has been expending its battery throughout the night to catch better reception - try putting it in a better place with more reception during the night, or in Airplane mode in case reception during the night isn't vital/important for you.

Okay good to hear that its rooted...
Follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226899 and try it.. Its a script thing but it really works...
This what m using now and its making my battery last much longer... The only difference is that I am using power JB Rom which already includes this, so I didn't have to do it by my self as it was included in the Rom.
