My contacts are attached.
I thank you in advance

It's the same for omega. I believe they might have been removed on purpose as I had them on the official leaks. Kinda miss it though..

I am the only one or no?
I'm using AOKP ICS 4.0.3 ROM.
You're not the only one. I was running tFC22v0.1.1 and flashed tFC18v0.1.1 but it didn't help.

Honestly facebook is the worst app for any platform. I am seriously concidering un installing it from every device i own, and just using the browser.
Thank christ! I was about to commit a sin and make a new thread about this!
I was thinking that it was simply my fingers!
This is really annoying.
Is Facebook for Android coded by Facebook or by Google?
Cheers;

[Q] Hi res. picture in Google Contacts

Hi,
Is anybody know how to get hi-resolution picture loaded into google contacts? Everytime I upload a hi-res picture "google" schrimp it so it look like crap if I use as contact photo??
This has asked again and again and Google doesn't seem to have this as a high priority. If you upload the hi res picture directly into the web version of Google Contacts it will convert it to low res. However, if you update the picture directly on your phone it will stay as a high res picture. Unfortunately if you wipe flash your phone you will need to change all your pictures back to hi res since when you resync your contacts it will bring down the low res images again.
Hi,
Yes I know.....I just thought that there maybe was a thirdpart app out that could do the job.............I got nearly 250 contacts.............it is a pain to edit all and update photo, just to do it again afrher flashing!!!!!
Preaching to the choir. I have updated my photos more times than i can count. Thankfully I am on CM9 now and planning to stick with it for a while which should minimize the amount of times I need to do this. I am amazed that one of the selling points of ICS at their launch event was the hi res contact photos but they are not updating Gmail to accept the sync. I suppose they had planned on a greater adoption of Google + but still i should be able to choose the photos I want and keep the synced with the cloud.

Someone on the CM9 thread just brought this up. Haxsync from the market works as an alternative, I've been using it since native syncing was removed.
FYI.

Haxsync is good if you want Facebook photos. I prefer to choose the photos I choose for my photos.

[Request] Modified AOSP contact app

I have been searching for the past week or so, to no avail, for the AOSP contact app, and possibly phone app also, that is modified to read phone only contacts instead of your Google contacts.
Is there one out there already for 4.2 or is there a way to enable this on my current contact app? I'm going to look with SQLite Editor in a bit to see if there is a modification I can make that will allow it, but if you know how to enable it, know how to edit it in somehow (I don't mind doing it myself), or anything that would be of help please please please post it.
I know I can use a third party so to do this but I would rather not if I can avoid it.
P.S. I'm running VRB 6-12 in case that info helps.

So I'm pretty much an idiot, I tried finding out how to make the contacts app just sync my VCF card...... Anyway my issue was that even though I told Google not to sync ANYTHING it was still syncing contacts, I wiped the, all out and turned everything to do with sync off and imported ,y contacts and everything works!
Sorry for being a schmuck, I'm having a off week.

Hello children. Uhhhmmm I recently flashed epinters 10.1. Actually this is the first time flash a custom rom. I just wanna ask about my facebook contacts. I added my acct Facebook but it didn't snyc like blur does. I used sync me but wasn't satisfied. I want all my contacts in Facebook sync in my phone even though they dont have phone/contact numbers. How'd i do that?! Thank you.

Thats because this isn't a blur rom.
I recall seeing contact sync on android apps section.
EDIT: I cant fimd it, but you could also try in the playstore, there seems to be several apps that do what you need

Low resolution contact images

Ok we have all heard this before, but this seems to be G2 specific?
Previously this issue had been fixed google side circa 2012 and hi res images were sharp on stock Android with Nexus 4. Now however they're back to blur on G2. Anyone get the same?
Same here low res

Yup. And I wish you hadn't pointed it out.

Just use haxsync on playstore. Changes your pictures to hi res.

Is there a way to do this without a Facebook account?
For example, my gmail contact photos on the desktop are higher resolution but those same contacts have different pictures *and* lower res on Android. I sync all my contacts, so I'd expect their photos to be synced as well.
Aw, man, this is a bummer. Wonder what the issue is, as this was resolved by Google some time ago...
Back when it was still an issue, I used "contact photo sync" from the play store. It stores your contact photos as a separate picasa/Google+ album, and syncs pictures there. You have to start with hi-res pics on your phone, though. At any rate, it worked well for me and doesn't use Facebook.
Still bummed if this is an issue (my sprint g2 arrives Tuesday)

If you readd the photos it should be fine. I did this and then when I reflashed and synced there wasnt a issue.

This app worked great. You just need to get the settings correct so it updates all your stuff correctly. Thanks.

What do you mean by re-add the photos? Do you mean put the photos onto phone, then setting it for each contact?
Found a solution for Google+ contacts:
Download contacts+, go to the contact whose pic is ugly, tap the pic, choose sync from Google+.
This will fix the image, then you can uninstall contacts+ when ur done.

I decided just to let LG know about this issue in a chat. I loved this part of the exchange:
REP: Unfortunately this will be the resolution that the phone will display after you sync with the account. Since the pictures are not coming directly from the phone but from the server, it will be displayed that way.
me: hmmm, i came from a Galaxy SII, running android 4.1, and it did not have this issue
me: the G2 is on a newer version of android
REP: That's right. This will be the actual phones feature.
me: so this is a "feature" of the G2? to have low res pictures on sync?
Low Res Contact Pics FIX
1) Star All Contacts or only Contacts with Pics
2) Settings > Sync > Sync Now (this is the step that helped me ensure all contacts will sync with high-res photos).
3) Clear Cache/Data in Contacts App & Contacts Storage
4) Go back to Settings > Sync
5) Sync all your contacts back in and you got your high quality pictures
EDIT EDIT:
Make sure you clear cache/data in both Contacts App and Contacts Data. When I only cleared Contacts App, half the photos were still low-res.
When I cleared both apps and then synced, all photos were high quality.
Special thanks to @AndroidStop & @yyz123 for figuring this out & posting steps
