[Q] rooted/unlocked/base rom 0.6.5 hw reset issue - AT&T LG Optimus G

Hello. As the title of this thread indicates, I'm having a issue with a hw reset being detected. The phone is on with the screen off. All of a sudden a yellow screen comes up with the statement that a hw reset has been detected.
What I'm wondering is if someone could provide a little more detail on this and explain what this means. I know that traditionally a hw reset stands for a hardware reset. But I'm not initiating one. Is there a hardware glitch, perhaps in the kernel or ROM?
Thanks for any and all help!

IR keyboard driver cause device to hang

Hi,
Just upgraded my Orange M1000 to ROM version 1.66.00WWE.
Reinstalling the driver for my IR foldable keyboard (http://www.suntekstore.com/unwiirpdake5.html) causes the device to hang after a soft reset - only solution seems to be a hard reset.
Any suggestions to possibly solve this?

[Q] Vibration Problem

My Samsung Galaxy S2 is not responding to the vibration setting. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?
Need a lil more info from ya, plz. What are ur settings that u r trying to get working ??
And just in case ur talking about Haptic feedback...it is disabled if u have Power saving mode on.
If ur not talking about haptic, then have u looked in Settings/Sound at Vibration intensity ? Have u tried a reboot ?
Vibration Problem
I have turned up all of the settings in vibration intensity, I have set the device vibration to basic calls and enabled Haptic Feedback but my phone just isn't vibrating period. None of the settings seem to work.
..... And yes I did reboot a couple of times.
It sounds like it could be a hardware failure of the vibrator device. To test whether the problem is hardware or firmware related, if the phone has custom firmware, then perform a wipe data/factory reset and flash back to stock. If the problem persists, then it is very likely a hardware issue. If the phone is currently on stock, then perform a wipe data/factory reset and re-flash stock.

sorry, i forgot to say that i already did the factory reset and the symptoms are the same. Could be a software issue?
If it was a hardware problem would not work at all, right?
*#0*# tests:
touch test result: PASSED OK with no other problem,
Dimming: One touch result: Dimming, Second touch: nothing
RED, GREEN, BLUE: no dead pixels
Reciever, speaker, cameras: OK
Sensors: OK

Re-flash stock via odin if problem persists it's most likely hardware.
I had flashed with odin(Android 4.3 COA - international Cosmote ROM) but the problem persists.
Today, i went to a gsm service, and told me that the hardware seems to be ok, i suppose that they did the same tests...
Diagnostic: unknown.
Can you give me an advice? What hardware part do you think i have to change? (I don't want to change the display because it's expensive)

Try a custom rom (like neatrom 4.4.2) and see if the problem still persists. If it does, deffinetly hardware problem.
You would have probably noticed by now if it was this, but it's worth a try. Aren't you by any chance experiencing these issues only while charging? Low quality/faulty/unfiltered power supplies sometimes lead to touch troubles.

[Q] How to hard reset? Touchscreen not working.

Hello, I dropped my SK17i and now the touchscreen is not working. I cannot even press the pattern and get into mobile etc. So I want to hard reset it to check if this will solve my problem. The phone is not rooted neither has any custom rom. Is there any option to hard reset with keyboard?
I think it's impossible because your problem is hardware, not software

Gyroscope and accelerometer not working after restarting the phone.

I have this weird issue with my LG g8X thinq. The gyroscope and accelometer sensors have stopped responding . It gets fixed temporarily once i facorty reset the phone but reappears when i restart the phone. I have done multiple factory resets and also flashed new firmware through LG bridge software. This is weird problem which i'm unable to understand it can't be software because i reinstalled firmware twice and also not hardware because it works unless i restart the phone. Please help anyone.
