I suppose the phone is off now?
If so try: download stock ROM and put it in flashtool/firmware, start flashtool, choose the stock rom with wipe data, vol - and put USB in so you can enter flashtool mode and flash official ROM.

I've tried connecting sola to PC but it seems like flashtool can't detect it. Is there other way to connect it to PC so flashtool can detect the device? I already downloaded stock firmware
Still no luck
1) Hold power + vol up until you feel the phone vibrates 3 times.
Quickly hold power down, and shove the USB wire in.
It should detect your phone in flashboot now.
2) Alternatively, after the phone vibrates 3 times, keep a hold on vol up to get it into fastboot. Then flash the correct kernel for the rom you have.
Note that ICS, GB and CM roms all use a different kernel. Make sure you have the right one.
3) Lastly, if your phone's bootloader is still locked, you can just repair using SUS.
after i done unlocking bootloader, i reboot my phone using command prompt, then i follow the instruction that waiting the violet light n press the +volume, n till now, my phone cannot turn on, juz with black background without sony logo, what should i do? can i format or reset my phone so it can be on as normal?
You flashed a kernel after unlocking, right?
Did you unlock using the tool or sony's official?
Search for a kernel for your software version (if you were on ics an ics kernel, gingerbread gb kernel) and you have the boot.img. Now take the battery of the phone, wait a few seconds, insert it again, hold volume up, connect the usb while holding volume up, the blue led will light
Now open flashtool - click the flash - fastboot mode - select the downloaded boot.img - wait until flashing ends - unplug phone and start it :good:

- power off the phone:
- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from cm10 zip)
- fastboot reboot
- enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+ (i still stuck at here, waitng the light to turn on, but only background light n no sony logo)
- flash rom zip
- flash gapps zip

- reboot
i dont know what to do as it my first time, n im so messed up ><
Dear friend
You need not have to worry just download cm9 stable version. Extract its kernel on your desktop which is boot.img and copy cm9 zip in SD card
Now connect your phone: in PC in fastboot mode and flash cm9 kernel you will find your mobile will boot up with FXP then instal cm9 with cwm

Hi I'm BrianXYap New to XDA. So I recently just rooted my Sk17i but didn't unlock boot loader. I was trying to install cm10 on my Sk17i.It obviously failed so I gave up. (Using CWM) when I clicked reboot system, I was stuck at the Sony Ericsson logo . I tried to Go to the recovery mode or any other modes but they don't work. Can You DEV's Help me? also when I plug it in to my computer it doesn't charge for some reason. there is also no LED notification light, is it because of the failed Flash caused all these things to happen? Help!
Flash stock ftf Rom via flashtool.
And cm10 needs unlocked boot loader to flash it's custom kernel.

Flashtool method
Download the correct firmware file for your phone at the bottom of the post.
Make sure Flashtool is installed.
Place downloaded firmware file(.ftf format) in Flashtool\firmwares(by default C:\Program Files\Flashtool) folder.
Start Flashtool.
Click the lightning button and choose Flashmode.
Firmware should appear there, if you have it in correct folder. Choose it.
Turn off your phone, connect USB cable to computer, then press Volume Down button and connect USB cable to your phone.
Flashtool should detect your phone and starts flashing. Follow the instructions.
When it says „Flashing completed“, unplug your phone and turn it on.

What volume combination and stuck at the logo mean? You do flashing firmware via flashtool with device off.
It said connect USB cable and then power + vol - .I did it but nothing happened. It's still at the logo. I installed an official firmware once and a blue led indicator showed up. Now it doesn't .
Be sure that the phone is off then plug the usb cabl and hold volum down key in the same time and your in flash mod then open flashtool and see videos on youtube on how to flash ftf files using flashtool and that should be over

do you really want a cm10 rom? then unlock your bootloader (but be mindful that you may lose your warrant and bad things might happen to your phone) here's the tut http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879750
after you unlock your bootloader
flash your kernel through flashtool
then install cm10 rom
but if you want to go back to your stock rom
you need flashtool and obviously your stock rom (ftf file)
click the lightning-like button then choose flashmode
select the rom then you'll be prompted to connect your phone
hold the power button and volume down button at the same time until the led light is blue.
wait to complete and your back to your original rom
i hope it helped you
please help!

Wait untill you feel 3 vibrations.
What firmware you had when you installed the rom and can you give the link to the thread of the rom you installed?
Do you have ftf to original formware?
One vibration reboot, three power off.
After you will switch off, try flash tft then.

Actually before that i was trying to port a rom but it didnt work out.
so i flashed the pacman rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2372433
in this i had to fastboot the boot.img which i then was unable to.
and before that i had the same rom installed. i have the original ftf.
i instaled the latest flashtool. it says the drivers arent installed but they are.
windows says unable to install drivers.
after i press the vol up and power, after 1 vibration it goes to kernel. i waited for 5 min pressing the buttons but nothing happened.
when on kernel, flashtool says device connected in usb debugging off.
Thanks for your help!
in the flashtool, i chose the log level to debug.
then my phone was able to get to the fastbot mode and i successfully fastbooted the correct cm kernel and booted up the rom!

Did you replace the kernel image before installing? Realy weird why the didn't fo it themselves.
No ppoint to try booting the phone.
You have removable battery so try to remove it for a minute, put it back and see if you can connect in flash mode and flash original formware.
BTW what do you mean by "goes to kernel?" recovery?

sorry. i may be wrong. i meant the first image that comes when you boot like fxp logo/sony/samusung logo
btw i have fixed the problem as stated in my above post.
and i have now reflashed it.
As the topic suggest, i wanted to know that is there any possible ways to flash custom kernels via recovery.
Flashing is my habit and due to flashing simultaneously i have just lost my Volume down button on my LWW And i m unable to flash custom kernels :crying: which is stopping me to install fresh Custom ROMS ,
HELP ME PLEASE...

Unfortunately our devices do not have a separate recovery partition so it's not possible to flash kernels through CWM. Search the forums, I know there was a way of changing the key you need to press to enter CWM
thanks for your advise buddy but I know how to enter into CWM , I am concerned about how can I tune into Fastboot to flash kernels :good:

Isn't the phone will run into fastboot mode automatically if u use flashtool when u clicked the fastboot mode? Anyway, u can try using cmd though. Turn off ur phone and press the up volume button while connecting the usb cable to computer. If the blue light appear it should be in fastboot mode.

Code:
adb reboot bootloader
in command line will allow you to boot into fastboot mode ...
Guys I understand that kernel and cwm are merged and that's the reason we can't flash kernel but what about installing cwn on system with x-parts and then flashing kernel from it. isn't that possible either?
