True imagesense capabilities will be impossible with the incredible 4g. It doesn't have imagechip therefore no possible way for the phone to take shots like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=OpyWz4QssII#!
Yes, the phone can take quick pictures as it is, but the imagechip (that the phone lacks) allows the higher end htc phones to focus very very quickly, hence you get the burst shots that you see in the video. Those burst shots aren't possible with the inc4g.

Will this work on any rom? I'm running venom...also does this just add the brust option in stock camera? I was upset that this phone didn't have this option stock. The sense 4 rom I ran on my dinc2 had this option in the stock camera and worked great.

so what features do we get with this?
if we don't like it - how do we revert back to stock?
the one thing i'd be happy with is being able to take a pic by long pressing on the screen (that would autofocus and then take a pic on the orginal inc)... does this allow that?

I used to love this feature in gingerbread. Can anyone please please try to make a mod for this on the EVO LTE. Thanks in advance if anyone can.

I don't remember this feature in gingerbread. I thought it was only in custom roms... Either way, I'd also love to see this.
From what I've gathered, it's in the works. But, the devs are having problems with the coding? I remember one discussion of the code being present in Gingerbread but not in ICS.

It was a built in feature of gingerbread, was even one of the things they demonstrated during the gingerbread presentation. The reason you may think it was special for custom roms is that most carrier stock roms disabled it for whatever reason.

Which is pretty much what I said. Nexus devices use pure google builds, free from carrier molestation.

Idk, I did read they removed the 3D Rosie to make it "lag less" instead of actually trying to code something a lil more functional. Lotta work goes into createing it from ground up n all, but that's apple idealistic laziness for idiots right there....

But I can't find it now.. and I kinda wanted to know if that would work on the Amaze?

I take no credit for this, as I did not make this.
This is a modified Sense 4.5 Camera app, for the HTC One X. Works as it should on my EVO 4G LTE. Has a bunch of great mods including force bitrates for video and audio, expanded camera tweak control, continuous autofocus etc.
**NOTE** Camera button does NOT work in this app, as the One X does not have a camera button. Surely it shouldn't be too hard for some epic dev to add in though.
This works great thanks!

The updater script is checking the build.prop for "endeavor" which is the codename for the HOX. Throw this apk into a blank flashable zip file that checks for "jewel" and you'll be all set.
Here, I've attached the zip I'm using. Works like a champ.
I'm going to assume you need to be on a sense based on ROM to flash this?

I dont know about this sense 4.5 camera...I love all the options but everything kind of seems blurry and video looks kind of grainy.
Just did some video tests in low light that I always run when messing with new cameras..
Every video in low light in my office previous to this update has always averaged 29FPS
The same exact conditions with the sense 4.5 camera give me 18-22FPS.
Going to revert back to original camera and see if it isnt the new rom im running.

Code was completely removed from jb. Not happening soon, may not happen at all.
It wasn't removed, it just wasn't there. This is jelly bean 4.1 not 4.2. What does piss me off is that HTC took off the extended notification two finger slide down.

Ummm according to others that looked into the code, it was said that HTC removed more of the quicksettings code from many more files than last time when we didn't have it... That's what they are referring to. Nothing to do with 4.2 and the quick settings addition that brings in itself as that acts differently than what was removed... Though could be the reason HTC started removing it to prep for how they handle the 4.2 quick settings...

Yeah likely bc they are getting ready for how they handle it in 4.2 as quick settings is different completely in AOSP then so it likely borked what they had and they need to think of some other way to fix it ... Only thing I can guess so far...

Gotta remove the old first... Doubt ud see any traces of 4.2 stuff in there... Prolly more just them prepping for the changes in stages... That's the only logical thing I can come up with as to why they'd remove it. ...

Friends, how about, I have a question regarding the HTC cameras, I own a HTC Droid DNA, and take pictures in low light, such as in the antrum or Disco. Focus when no LED lights and therefore go wrong photos, I have to take several to hit which goes well, otherwise a Galaxy Nexus (my previous smartphone). My question is: It happens to all HTC? With some mod or some application may fix this?
